Greetings, I have been toying for a while now with the idea of setting a modified Apocalypse World in the city of Roanapur. This fictional Thai port city is the setting of the anime Black Lagoon. A city full of vice, corruption and largely run by competing criminal factions, Roanapur is not a nice place to live. It is however full of larger than life characters and possibilities for those on the wrong side of the law to thrive.

I wanted to see if there is any interest in a game such as this.

I'm not much of one for AW, but I'd make an exception for this.

I can get behind this.  Sounds good.  Will you be using Characters as NPC's from the Anime or simply using the setting?

I'll probably use the show's characters as NPCs, especially movers and shakers like the Church of Violence or Balalaika. One of the central conceits of Apocalypse World is that the Master of Ceremonies and the players sit down and work out the setting. In this case we would figure out what our characters actually do in Roanapur.

I've never played Apocalypse World, but I'm a big fan of Black Lagoon. Count me in.
