Is there any interest in a game set in the Suikoden universe?  Its my favorite JRPG series and I'd love to run a game set in that universe for fellow fans of the series.  Knowledge of the setting wouldn't be necessary, but it would probably enhance your enjoyment.  The system I would use is here:  http://www.symphonyofeternity....al/gstr-festivus.pdf

I love Suikoden, so I'd definitely check it out if you set up this game. I'd have to see if the system works for me, though.

The system looks alright.  I haven't personally ever play tested it but it really captures the flavor of the games.  For anyone that's interested, here's the basic premise I had for the game:

This game is set five  years after Suikoden III (SY 380).  The Grassland and Zexen Confederacy exist in a state of peace, although their formal alliance that had formed during the invasion by the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia has recently dissolved.  With both countries recovering from the war, the dissolution of their alliance has already started rumors that the Tinto Republic might seize the opportunity to invade once again and annex some of the fertile farmlands of the Grassland.

If this were to happen would the Zexen Confederacy aid the Grassland?  Would the Holy  Kingdom of Harmonia attempt yet another invasion?  Would barbarians from the Nameless Lands begin raiding the Grassland?  Perhaps the Dunan Republic would step in to enforce peace?  The flames of war are once again beginning to burn - and the fate of a nation might once again rest on the shoulders of a brave few...
