I've recently been thinking about a game idea.  Kinda of a Highlander type set in a fantasy setting.  The idea is that there are too many Gods of the land and they have each chosen a champion.  I'm not to worried about the flash backs as I wasn't planning on there being any.  This would be a big planet, I would think that all the gods of myth and fantasy would have a place in it to have a fair amount of longevity.  Honestly I would rather co-dm this than run it on my own provided it had enough interest.  It could easily be run as single players or a group.

Any thoughts?

I like the concept. what would you think the champions power level be like? do their powers increase? how? what type of setting is it in? medieval? modern? renaissance?

I was thinking medieval.  I was thinking Pathfinder with Mythic tiers and regular levels.  I would make changes to magic items and adding some items from the Highlander d20 system.

Would you rather play as solo or group?

They offer a completely different dynamic and i can't say which one is best. i have one more question though why would characters stick together? pantheon solidarity? mutual survival?

Well then. Which one are you more used to solo or group? which one are you better at running? I honestly think solo works best in this game system but it is more taking for the gm.

Look i have a couple of months experience but yeah solo might work best. i can't say with certainty as i am not an actual seer. But i can say that it would make the most sense as well pantheons are less handholdy then you might expect and the groups that do form up should be more decided in game then anything.

Honestly this would be the first game I’ve run on rpol.  I know solo would be more work on my part.  I could see small groups forming I don’t want to hamfist it with forced pantheons.  I think the best place to start is after first death and the character not really knowing which deity chose them.

Have you been good at playing multiple characters in one game?

I've never tried on rpol.  Ive done it successfully with table top.

Go with small group. your experience is to little to do a successful solo game.

That is a bit unfair to say. There is no reason to think that, further, you do need to be experienced in order to do solo play successfully, and most certainly does not require pbp nor group play experience.
