Solan follows the group to their private quarters.

He is the last to enter and keeps his eye out for trouble.

He stands with his back against the wall.

"I believe my job/contract is done. What is the next part of this job and a new contract will have to be negotiated". Says Solan.

"Whatever... but your never really alone here... enjoy that when your going to the bathroom" he says while walking off. "Why I... you dirty little monkey... hey you can't walk away from me....." and the monkey and the voice trail off down the hall.

"Is there really a point to this? I've given you what I can, information wise anyway, and I really don't think you want to fight me... I know at least two of you can sense the truth, that I am infarct the luckiest man alive."

"Thanks for giving us some privacy" he says more to the room than to the monkey as he leaves.

"No, I am not wanting to fight you or to drill you for information. But your little stunt out there is causing people more stress, thats the last thing we need now." he signs and sits down on the floor, resting his katana on his lap and the rest of his gear beside him.

"Solan if thats how you feel then fine. You never had a contract with me and I would never take one out with you. Feel free to talk to Kairos, and his bosses." he says with some disappointment and a wave of his hand.

"Anyway Kairos this here is Avarice, you may well have sensed his resonance. He appears to be a relative of some kind with the other sins we met. He has given me information and somewhat his word in exchange for information. Including the fact there are a fixed seven of them and that they can be replaced. Also that his creator, or whatever one would call it, wishes to restart the wheel. A new cycle." he pulls his fingers through his still grass hair. "Also that on a later date he has to talk to me about one of his brothers, he did not elaborate on this."

"I would like to stress he has been helpful and doesn't want a fight, I have also given him my word that he shall have passage to Mars." he turns to Avarice. "That would be the situation in a nut shell, yes? Apart from your designated sin seemingly causing you to not want this cycle to end I take it. No offense meant."

"Why would I, I have some of the finest of things. I would like to keep them."

BTW let me know when you want to wrap this chapter up and end this, so we can skip ahead to being on mars for the next chapter.

Solan nods his head and watches.

He will contact Kairos about a new deal.

The deal was Solan works for Senex and works off his debts including to society... Esenchualy it's ether work for Senex or got to jail and your debt building interest to when you get out you have a lot to pay off.

On the bright side once he work his debt off Senex will be paying him.

Solan sends a reply; asking for details. What is his debt, how much they pay per mission and what his debt to "society" is as that is a word that has many complications and legality to it.

He looks at the group;

"Im in, according to my contract until such time my contract is paid..The way I see it I get paid a lot so it won't be long".

"What is our next objective" Says the cold hard man known as Solan.


He plugs into the computer of the ship downloading maps of known systems, codes and other passwords he may need as well as locations of things on the ship

There isn't anything to reply to... it's just an out of char reminder .... As for pay it was never negotiated... but a fair days pay would probably take care of it in a year and a half or so.... if they paid you what this kinda job was worth (considering your situation that's unlikely unless you do spectacular and save lots of lives) you could have it paid off in 3~4 months and be making money then.   It will be a while before you can really do much negotiating over pay with anyone other than Karios and your first months payment is about 3 weeks or so away, so getting the 150K (i think it was) from him to send in would be a good idea so you don't build interest.   When you can get in contact with Kingsintong or Senex then something permanent about pay can hopefully be worked out with everyone.

Solan can't find any means of interfacing with any of the ships systems. The most there is is a touch screen here or there. The map of the inter layout don't even have any maintenance or engineering.... just a bridge, lounge, mess hall, cargo bay, private quarters and captains quarters, wash rooms, personal storage, and secure storage. All in all the ships lay out makes no sense unless a lot of the rooms just arn't on the map.

Solan looks at the ships map.

"Whos ship is this?..Meaninig who is the captain of the ship?"

He sends a private text to Houshui; "Thips lay out makes no sense unless a lot of the rooms just arn't on the map..this ship has some secrets".

Huoshui eyes the message received on his comm, Nods to Solan. "I am not sure as to the owner of the ship, The ape and his disembodied friend. They spoke of another Aeon, but from what this other voice said it owns the ship."

"We aren't alone." he says to himself than the others. Focusing inwards for a second and then extending himself outwards, scanning the room and a bit further for minds and thought patterns(Mind magics). "...my cargo bay." is what it said, he thought to himself.

Solan after looking at the ships maps goes tense.  He didn't like being in a place he wasn't in control and didn't know the exits, inns and outs.

He tightened his armor, checked all his gear and censers and made sure he was running at 100 percent.

He made sure his sword was in easy reach and reloaded his rifle and slung in over his shoulder for easy access if need be.

"Where are we going..And what is our objective" Asks Solan.

He didn't know what was going on.  He had a mission, falied, and than was hired to protect the station.  The station was gone.Therefore in his mind he needed a new mission a new objective to focus on.

Solan watches something even more unusual, the map on the screen shifts the two corridors down the sides of the ship extend and the cargo bay pulls back further to the rear of the ship as another room spears near the cargo bay. There is nothing contacting to the room however and it just sits there fleshing a few seconds, then stops as doors to ether side passage form and a label 'medbay' pops up over it.


Avarice watches the display Solan is at and raises a brow "Interesting.... hum... you don't suppose you would be willing to part with this ship do you?"

Standing up and as he leaves the room. "Someone keep an eye on our guest, I have to check on something." He felt that he could trust them with not killing Avarice or something. "I will be on comms if you need me before I return."

Leaving the room and heading no wear in particular, he finds somewhere secluded. "So we aren't alone. So you can hear and see me at all times. What do you call a ship that does that?" Attempt contact away from the Ape, first step.

<I can not answer that... I appear to be the first humans have produced, and the magi responsible for my gestation was not as concerned with labeling things as other humans seam to be. I have a chosen name however... it is the OSS Lucid Nonsense.>

He laughs "Thats too long, mind if I shorten it to Luci?" He leans against a wall. "So a friend of mine says you or someone here is hiding rooms and such from us. Is that something that should concern us. I understand privacy but I have a large number of refugees here and I can't risk anything. We have already lost too many souls today." he says while looking at his feet.

<That is the combination of a vault and 'manual power core' we are thalamivores as you might guess and what one might consider food another might consider treasure. This is also what one might consider a pirate ship. Please understand there is nothing in there that isn't intended for sustenance or to be sold, and I will only allow access to Aeon unless the situation is dire.>

"So Aeon is the friend of yours and Bo... well the one who you were concerned for. Did they make the teleport?" he shifts and places his bag on the floor by his feet.

"How did a marvel of living magic come to be a pirate ship then?"

<No shi was in lower decks at the time... I beleave shi was able to exit the station though, I still have a faint mental link with hir. Our story can best be spoken by others I would think. I am better at relaying facts than feelings, and I do not fully understand the reasoning behind what happened and what we do. I am said to be a 'young mind' and the term 'new soul' is used as well... but would most qualify for such a categorization?>

"Well I pray for her safe return." There was a lot of danger out there at the moment so his prayers were truly with anyone still caught out there.

"Someone put a lot of magical effort into you. To create a soul, that is impressive, well I am sure it comes with its benefits. No sins of the past carried on and the like."

"I do hope you find your place in the universe. I can't condone your helping pirates and the like but thats your choice." besides recent events had caused him to do thing he had never thought he would have to.

<I do not beleave it was intentional. From what I have gathered from conversations it may be a side affect from his essence.>

"Nothing is truly an accident. His essence you say? Who would this be and what sort of essence causes such an outcome?" he says full of confusion.

<Not a man that liked names or labels and a member of a fallen tradition. I think he has something to do with the resent formation of the Daksha as they have been in close contact with him before, however he has tried quite a bit to distance himself from them.>

After looking at the situation and talking to people think things here slown down to the point might as well call it for the end of chapter 1.

The ship some how changed shape... this dose unsettle the refuges some but everyone relaxes. The ship now looks more sleek and fast than stealthy, and is now white instead of black and now has a medbay that the refuges are using.

people can open a chapter 2 thread with there name and post anything they wish to do before getting to mars.

Everyone has 5 hours down time then they arrive at Mars.

Then everyone cab start there own posts (again Chapter 2 with there name) and follow for what they do while on mars (will post a main chapter 2 post with descriptions of the city)


Arival at Mars don't go quite as planed as Olympus is filling with refuges already, and they are forced to land through a storm to the base of the mountain at the industrial city in side the mountain called Hades. It's mostly there to harvest geothermal energies and power Olympus, as well as several factories built into the mountain.

It will at least be a while before all the refuges are moved out to some where safe, so exspect to at least spend a night or two in Hades.
