Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

Cal takes the D-Pad and looks at the, and then at the woman.  He knows the look... has seen it before, over the past 2 weeks.  It's the look people who didn't understand him gave.  It was the look that Macy had given him when they first met.

It didn't take her long to understand him... she had said it best.

'People are arrogant, and the first assumption is never that -you- don't understand... it's always that -someone else- doesn't.  When you sit and talk through it... you come to realize that everyone's a little crazy, but true insanity is accepting that everything you -don't- understand is wrong.'

He nodded to the lady, and spoke quietly, and a little more slowly, as one might to a child.  When people thought you were crazy, they could be quite dangerous.

"Thank you very much... you've been quite helpful." he then looked at the luggage, and again at her. "Now tell me... how long will it take to process my things, and... when shall I contact you to find out when to come and retrieve it?"

"Excellent... " he said, flashed her a winning smile and then turned and began walking toward where the map said the clinic was.

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

The clinic was rather empty save for the woman at the desk, it was more of a ward than anything few people came in and out the front during the day. The nurse dose not notice you at first but looks up "OH! Can I help you, sir?"

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

Caleb flashed his version of a warm, winning smile.

"Yes... at least I hope so."  He walked close to the desk and placed his hands palms down on the top, and looked at the lady. "I am to understand that you specialize in will worker problems...?  I have a small concern that I may have contracted some amount of paradox, or may be suffering from a quiet.  The lady in the landing port... the customs office, advised that I come and speak to you...  She took my bananas..."

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

She blinks a little at the bananas comment... oh yes that makes you sound so sane. "Um, well if you are able to assume your having a mental episode it's a good sign it's not that serious of one... that's what I also say." She gives a little uneasy smile "If I could get some information from you we could get you in to see a doctor"

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

She hands you the typical kind of registration form you get at a office like this, only catered to will workers..... considering your not even sure of the name part 100% just looking over it a bit unsettling. You don't know where you where born.... family.... mirage status!?!?! oh my....

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

Caleb spent a small amount of time looking over the form, before turning back to the receptionist.  He looked for a brief moment, then pasted on his smile again.

"I apologize, but... is this absolutely neccessary?"

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

(Michael, Cicatrix, and Huoshui where ready first and started 12 days from the auction. They are all at the end of that day or near it. Is it ok if this is 11 days from the auction for you to make things easier?)

"Is there a problem?"

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

Caleb looked down at the paper, and then a bit perplexed.

"I'm suffering from amnesia...  I'm actually not sure of any of the answers on this list...  I know my name... buuut... other than that..."

He looked at the lady, as if this must be something she hears all the time.

(Perfectly fine.)

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

She sighs bitting her lower lip and shaking her head "And your name?" She fiddles at the computer for a bit getting even a more confused look and keeps searching. "Oh lovely.... well you do seam to match the picture on file... I am afraid we don't have much here. It seams most of your information was lost ether during the last Hyperion War or the Fith Fall." She sighs putting what little information survived of you onto a file and handing it over. It's mostly bureaucracy stuff... the biggest shocks on there being how old you are and the fact your home would is listed as "Homeworld: Hera (Destroyed)" on the form. "If you can take a seat a doctor will see you soon"

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

Caleb took the proffered data pad, and turned it to look at it.  Before his eyes could have possibly registered what was on the virtual sheet, the man's entire body stiffened, and he staggered away from the counter, shutting his eyes tight.  He was in the throws of some kind of fit, as water flowed from his eyes due to the pain of the experience.

After a few moments of this he opened his eyes looking startled, and perplexed all at once, at the lady who handed him the pad.

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

Her eyes widen. "Sir sir!" She moves out from behidn the desk quickly to try and help you into a chair. As things haze in and out you think you hear her calling for help.... when you come back to it seams so as you have two nurses tending to you.

"No no, really... I am well... no need to fuss... this may be a symptom of my condition, no?"

He says this as he tries to get a grip on what images were shown to him.

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

They are quick to get you in to see a doctor after that.
"Well there is good news right off the bat, if you have memmory loss but a reaction like this, then it means your memmory will likely return in time." He gets out a pad looking at his notes. "Your memory loss could just be the result of a quite, as for the rest.... well would you be willing to summit to some more intensive tests?"

Re: CHAPTER 1: Caleb Worth

"Don't worry there be scans... and we will take all procession with the active scans, we are well aware of the risk of a paradox you represent."

He lifts up his pad again. "Can you start though going over exactly what you do remember... your records go back nearly 50 years, before the Fifth Fall."
