As Flowing water opened the door, he would come face to face with the masked assassin.

quote:
“I miss...any 6ood parts¿”

Without waiting for a reply, he continued.

quote:
“I assume we h3ad...to tHIS ship of yours...”

He hadn't recalled any other evacuation plan, he certainly was proud of his newfound weapons.

OOC: Hey Az, to save time I still wanted to get the Kusari-gama made with the bars. If you want we can just say he got it done and keep it moving.

Re: CHAPTER 2 - Hell on Ear-... er... Mars.

Ok The work takes a while, they make the chain rather fine like jewelry more than the chain of a weapon.... but the metal is still strong more so with the war gods blessing. They use the impure star-metal for the handles (but with a pure core for suport) and make you one with two razer thing sickles conected by a retractable chain conected by a mechanize in the handles that can be triggered with simple correspondence affects.

The whole weapon looks mostly mundane save for the mechanism, but the Nordic runes hint the blessings on it. It will respond easly to Ix's will alowing him to move the weapon and chain with little to no difficulty using his correspondence, and the pure metal in it is practically unbreakable even in it's thin state.

The weapon smith insists you must name it before handing it over.

"The lady knight and I were saying that yes maybe we might return to the craft Luci, share drinks, stories and discover our next path." he said smiling to the assassin. Noting the mans slight change in stance and the weapons adorned upon him.

"We need but ask one of the maidens and they will return us to our own realm." he reminded and informed, "I am sure each of us needs to take time to meditate what has gone on here."

Re: CHAPTER 2 - Hell on Ear-... er... Mars.

Actualy there wouldn't be enugh for two blades.... but the wieght at the end can be spiked like a stake with a bladed x so you could trow it like a dagger and do dubble damage with it to currupted (the damage bonus only counts if you pearce them with it)

Yogan adds looking to the new weapon. "You should consider bargaining for some of the hunters bones while you are here. Starmetal is hard to come buy as it is, more so when cut from the many talened hunters' flesh. You would probly have better luck in trying to get some ore rather than pure slabs, but they value the chi you use to weave your works among other things."

Develanna joined the others at the door.  She listened politely and nodded a greeting to Ix,

"Whatsomever that seemeth goodly unto thee Lords shall also suit me well.  There is much changed in my own world that needeth deep consideration.  And the lifting of a great weight from mine own shoulders that also pleads for a celebration!"

He looks to Devalanna "I do not think the rage of a dead god suits you, your sword is a magnificent blade anyway I would not see why you would need another.... perhaps a shield made from the normal state of the ore, and not torn from the dead gods flesh would suit you better."

Ix listened to Yogan's guiding direction with discretion. As a professional opportunist, he didn't want to pass up on a good deal. It would seem nearly impossible to acquire these items again, and stocking up could save them more trouble in the future.

He nods. "Your choice in weapon was a wise one, weapons were and should be tools first. Many early cultures the god of war was there god of crops. The kusari-gama is just a tool for cutting plants and a rope with a weight. Having a near unbreakable chain will come in handy more than the weapon I'm sure."

Re: CHAPTER 2 - Hell on Ear-... er... Mars.

Huoshui was glad to see that their fox companion had the same outlook of weapons as he did. Yes his own weapons were mostly swords and by many would be seen as only for war, but to him and the teachings it was a focus for his spirit and magics. Focusing his mind through rotes and meditation.

Reminded of the Dragon wizards, who were now part of the akashic and had been among his teachers, their view on the akashic long ago had been as peasants. The weapons used in their wars matched that of the history in Japan between the ninja and samurai. One used weapons forged for purposes, while the other used repurposed farming tools.

"This trip has been fruitful my friends, clearly they will aid us in the trials to come. We must not forget why we sought power, so that we might not be lost to it."

With his unique device, the tone of his warped words, brought from thoughts, was tremored with neutrality. Since their brief time together, he didn't share in any of FW's or the knight's perspectives on the objectives. Why is Devalanna here? What did the monk look for? There will be time for tittering talk later.

Ek'chua Ix placed a hand on his hip, just above the fine chains of the fresh weapon wrapped around his waist. His other held the kusari-gama near its end, spinning the blade as he became familiar with its feel. From his training in "murder school" - the first step in a licensed hitman's curriculum - he been trained in several combat forms. He had become rusty with his mid-range fighting, and looked forward to his renewal of the skill.

The expert executioner turned and began to walk with the slightest of swaggers, spinning the blade on its delicate (appearing) chain. The change in his steps was the only way to see the killer's subtle satisfaction with the newest implement to grace his tool belt.

Raven returned to the others with a big smile, and a rather strong mix of herbal and chemical odors emanating from at least three of his pouches.

"Hey all. Hope you've had as good a time as me. Ix! Cool swag man! Looks like you got a hell of a haul. Good on you buddy. I'm glad you're here Bud, got a little favor to ask. See, I met this smoking hot Amazon warrior bitch, and I'd like to be all up in that, but she said it takes at least two male warriors to satisfy her Try as I might, couldn't talk her out of it. So how about it friend, help a horny Bird out?"

As he spoke to the assassin the old man gave all of his four arms a good stretch, flexing each hand randomly as is normal for one to do. At least, it seemed that way to anyone who didn't know sign from Earth Army. To Ix, however there was a message, each hand equaled one word:

'Urgent

Need

To

Talk'

The killer stopped long enough to acknowledge Raven with his standard, silent nod. With a careful flick of his wrist, he wrapped the spinning remainder of his kusari-gama around his waist. His unseen frown belied the words he projected through the foreign device. Yet a subtle hand at his side would reveal Ix's feelings.

"A sword is asleep, unless in the hands of a skillful master. One must train with a sword and learn its ways, only when held in the hands of a master who knows the spirit within the blade can truly the power within it be used." It was the way of his order to think of all things as having a soul. Looking to the exchange between the assassin and the bird, he shook his head, "If it is alright with you two, I would meet you back at the ship. I would not take this from you so I shall leave now and we might meet later to discuss the future."

"You'll miss a heel of a good time there, FW, but we can always brag to you about it later. You and the knight chick there look after yourselves, and we'll meet you back there when we get done. If we don't survive, you'll know I went happy because they'll never get the smile off my beak. No, I don't want to barter for it, I'm getting it for free. Come on, Ix old buddy. This old soldier is already saluting the flag is at full mast, and both barrels are ready to fire if you know what I mean."

Raven winked at his friend, waved to the others, and turned to walk away from them hoping the assassin would follow.

Re: CHAPTER 2 - Hell on Ear-... er... Mars.

Ix looked to the monk and the knight as they spoke, tilting his head in curiosity at the mention of boon and swords. The monk speaks in abstracts, the knight in a language of old. He internally shrugged as he watched his other companions turn about to make way with their own business, then turned to follow his older associate. With a few quick flick of his hands, he asked, "What sort of death party do you have us lined up for this time?"

He wasn't sure what his feathered fellow was getting them into, but was sure that the importance garnered his attention. And his assassinating assistance....

Re: CHAPTER 2 - Hell on Ear-... er... Mars.

Huoshui nods to the group as they exchange words, confused as to what might truly be distracting them. He was a monk of the mind, he wasn't slow and the hand signs, and other messages were not understood but noticed. Then he was interrupted by the growl of his sword, inaudible to all those who were not able to hear the spirits but with his new senses. Understanding that is wanted something else, but still not fully able to take its meaning. "Well excuse me my companions, I must visit the local blacksmith. Seems my blade might be more dulled from the battle than I can aid it with." Leaving the group he made his way to the blacksmith or forgemaster.

"What is wrong?" he asked the sword as he walked the halls, the spirit could not speak as it was too young but growls and cries told him it wanted something. Maybe it wanted to improve like he had, they were partners and it sought to improve as its master did. Not wanting to be left behind on the path forward. Entering the blacksmith room he drew the sword from the scabbard to fully hear what it had to say, also to present the dark steel katana.

Re: CHAPTER 2 - Hell on Ear-... er... Mars.

The master smith was working on sidarite armor, there were a few suits of it sitting around now, there was a life into them... simple souls where being awoken from the metal as pices were brought together to make living armor for the arena. He looked like something between tails of a dwarf and gnomes in ledges or seen in games on the sphere and it was like there was a burning flame under his skin as he worked, an ember like glow from under his flesh though died to a dull flushed red hue as he stopped working.

He turns and raises a brow. "Hummm your friend has some bold wishes...." he takes off the welding mask his big red nose bare. "You know if I know being dead would find me so much work I would have been less picky about the battles I chose to fight" he laughed some sitting down his hammer."

"You must really enjoy your work to say that." Huoshui said, looking to the sword in his hand. "Xūkōng lóng," he spoke the name of the sword which got another growl out of it as if answering his call. "He is my partner and if you can hear it the same as I, which I do not doubt," as he could see the same form of life in most of the items around him, "I ask that you aid me in helping him obtain which he seeks." Marvelled by the weapons and armour around him, but to show respect to his sword he would stop to be in awe later for now he had to keep his promise to his sword.

"Full of flaws each and every one.... but do they wish me to find and fix them... no! They just want them working." He curses and shakes his head. "And why are you even here, your to damn scrony lad, I'm suprized you can lift that sword let alone be able to fuel my forge. You have to many weapons, the only reason your here is your sword? Huoshui laughed, "Maybe it is each of their flaws which make them unique, like people flaws make them. True an armour with a flaw might be exploited but the wearer could compensate, allowing the two to truly become one." Taking the sword in both his hands, resting its blade on one of his palms. "It does not boss me around, we are partners. It has worked hard for me and I for it, if my understanding is true it wishes to improve so that our team and union is better. Desire for growth is a admirable trait in my eyes." Looking to the smith with some confusion, "I am capable of lifting this sword, I may not be as strong as you sir but I can hold my own and maybe with time I might not be so scrawny in your eyes. The wheel turns and we grow, move forward."
