Re: CHAPTER 2: devalanna
Devalanna had followed Peter and the monk, but not too close for fear she might crowd them. When she saw the temple, she believed this would suit her needs perfectly. However, out of respect for the others, she waited until she saw the monk leave before she entered. This was clearly a sacred place, and she did not want to intrude upon him. the knight strode forth and into the opening now vacated by her quest companion. she felt a sense of awe as she entered the place, and just stood there for the longest time taking it all in. The communicator she was given beeped after a while, and brought her out of her state. she managed to open the little thing, and heard the monk's message. however, she did not yet know how to reply on it, so she didn't but simply closed the little box up again. she looked around, and approached a man in robes. Making a fist, the young woman brought it up to thud the chain mail over her heart.
"Hail, good Gentle. I am Lady Devalanna, and I am to embark upon a quest with my companions. I am not of your order, but pray, could you spare a quiet place where I might fortify myself in mind and soul before I set on the path laid before me?"
