And could you (or anyone else) clarify Yogan? Sounds like he's recommending Ix/the group looks for these "hunter's bones", but is that just the name of the metal? And is he suggesting we get some to stock up on for later use?

yah.... the metal is a special form of siderite ore that came from the asteroid belt. Rog, the many tallened hunter... the incarnation of the dead celstial who's body makes up the belt has grate hatred for the wyrm and the currupted as the curupted killed him, and it has changed the iron in the planetary remains into the altered impure siderite.

When purified it and used to cut currupted beings it will do dubble damage (after soak)... so it's fairly valuable, but being that it's from the astiroid belt... which was never easy to navigate in the first place and is now a nebula, it's hard to come by.

Most call it star metal as it is the sorce of many sacred / holy weapons of ledgend in the past. Once the ore was smelted and made into weapons by alchemests or mages they made weapons that by mundaine standerds were powerful supernatural things back in the time when sords weren't made of tempered iron at best.  The rage felled siderite swords could cut just about anything, brake any other sword save another starmetal sword, and slice through armor... and fighting monsters... well it was what it was made for....

Most starmetal swords are owned by supernatural beings so history just figured swords of such quality where just the first steel swords, forged by masters who keep the secret of making them to themselves for ages.




But yes, mages can make siderite, making siderite with qualites similar to 'starmetal'  is not quite as easy.

You basically carrying around the last wrathful revenge of a dead god.  *gives thumbs up for that*  sucks though that the incarnation finally died too

Nothing personal really, just felt that earth was going to die from it's corruption and his last act before throwing himself (along with jupiter) at talos was to try and give her a mercy killing.... ahd take out a large percentage of the corruption in the universe with it.

Thankfully missed for the most part....


Now if you could get some of that metal from the two chucks that hit Canada and Siberia  well that would be nifty stuff.... not only star metal but it aborbed avatar shards from the soul storm, and energy from the reality bomb that distroyed mount quaf.

We have an alcoholic friend that RPed with us and acted much like Solan. One of the last games we played a massive monster dug up from the earths core and attacked .... we killed it with a lot of help... but it left behind a large hole all the way down to the earths core (though most filled back in of crose).

My char was a nano-bot infused human version of Lee, no magic.. all bio-tech and mental powers. He was like... holy shit, and no one seamed to be all that exsighted about this but him. He was like "Do you have any idea how important this is... it's a bore hole... this is the key to developing and unlimited power supply." An that guy went "That powers mine!" and jumped in the bore hole.......

Az, you should "kill" Solan, then let us have his shit. I'm sure we can find a way to make it work. I have a back up character in case Ix dies that would definitely fill his role better.

I rather fit to whats going on... that he just lets you know what he did with the corrupt gun and staied to train and redeam himself

makes more sense for all thats gone on....  sure could have him get himself killed but then you wouldn't really get anything out of it as worthy or not his armor and weapons would go with him where ever he went next even if it was in the ground.

And all his background was in cyberwear and the armory that he wouldn't share info on or store info to in hardware.. he was ridiculously paranoid about it.
