Group Magic changes

After looking it over and thinking about it I am... sorta... removing the rule that everyone has to have 1 level in the spheres involved in a spell to assist in casting it.

The new rule is basically if you can explain how they are helping and it makes sense that they are a big enough help to warrant the boost then they can help to there fullest.

Exsample: Some one is trying to create something out of nothing but dose not have any skill in prime.... they do have a mater of 5 though.... some one else has mater 2 and prime 4 though!   The first char don't understand enough about prime to work with them .... however the second can use there magic to create raw mater that the first can take and shape into anything they need.  Thus the possess is speed up and the success add together.

For clarifications on rules for group castings:

  • More than one awakened mage able to work together to there fullest, pool there success.
  • An awakened mage that only has one sphere in common with the spell and can't help much at all, contributes 1 success.
  • A newly awakened mage with little magic or unawakened sorcerers in study, contribute 1 success per 5 of them.
  • Unawakened helpers assisting in the ritual, they contribute 1 success per 25~2,500 people depending on there contributions and awareness of there help.
  • Unaware sleepers taking part in the ritual (through some mean or the other, even if unaware.), contribute 1 success per 100~100,000 depending on there level of connection.... not the best way to get help

Re: Group Magic changes

You could... say ... create a runic circle incupocing an inter city drawing on the life forces of everyone in it.... but you wouldn't get as much out of it as a stadium full of monadic rock fans in a musical ritual
