Re: CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water
Raven spent the time making small talk and smoking, not seeming that bothered by the conditions he found himself in which in truth he wasn't; going for a career in the military pretty much guaranteed spending time in less than five star locales along with spending long hours in hours including sleeping in it if required, and being a bird meant there was a flying buffet for him all the way to the ship which he definitely didn't mind.
When they finally arrived at the craft itself, he looked over it with idle curiosity until he noticed the name and markings at which point the eyebrows he once had would have lifted if he hadn't spliced them into nonexistence. He moved away from the main group, motioning for the monk and knight to follow him until he found a spot he was fairly sure would allow them to not be overheard. He kept his eyes peeled for anyone else coming in their direction, and would go silent if noticed them.
"Between the markings and name, that thing is connected to all three of us; the two of you for your homeworld, for example. Someone or something wanted to make sure we didn't miss it either, putting it in giant print right there on the thing for us. It's either a trap, bait for one, or some unknown being somewhere wanted us to have this wreck for whatever reason. The problem is there's no way I know of to find the answer, not without going inside. Iff anybody's got thoughts of their own, I'd love to hear them right about now..."
