CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

While the others were wrapping business of whatever nature on the moon before departing once more, Raven decided to do the same once he'd washed up from his (somewhat) successful attempt to heal his friend. He didn't know how much time he had, but thanks to the clearance he shared as a member of a crew granted diplomatic privileges within reason, he requested a vehicle and went to check the status of his up and coming Veteran's Home. The crystal the monk had gifted to him wasn't present, as it had been carefully tucked away elsewhere.

CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

Huoshui now able to keep awake but in some kind of world of constant pain, his will working returned to him enabling him to heal to a level where he wasn't needing constant aid. Sat in the centre of the room he'd prepared, legs crossed in the lotus position with his eyes closed. Mantras in the ancient tongue coming from his lips, focusing him through the further healing process. There would be time till they arrived and action was needed, he'd spend it here meditating and healing through his magics unless disturbed.

"Greetings." Huoshui opens his eyes having been quite lost to meditation and healing magics, "I am well. Mending, but as with all things it takes sometime even with will working." Exhaling slowly letting go of his mental mantras and healing spell weavings. "How do you fair yourself Lady Devellana?"

Re: CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

Well considering it's been like a day or two.... not much progress has been made at the hospital.. but they have done a fair amount.

They patched up the air leaks in the main area's.
They got power to be mostly stable, and have the main area's rewired.
Have a lot of supplies and stuff moved in... but there all in hudge piles of boxes.

CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

In reply to Huoshui  (msg # 56):

"I am indeed well my friend, but it seemeth to me that I have interrupted thy rest and meditation.  I beg thy forgiveness!  Here, in this tureen is what I am told is gooly broth for healing.  Tis made to represent chicken soup, and I am assured that twill do the trick!"

As she spoke, the knight set down the tray upon which the vessel and smaller bowls rested.  Her dragon, the young Nimina had entered with her and flown over to greet the monk by licking his face and nuzzling.  Develanna removed the lid and swore,

"Galahad's balls!"

Tink flew out of thelarge bowl, dripping rust colored broth and scattering warm droplets everywhere.  The creature belched, mimicking Raven and flew off upside down, leaving a frustrated knight to stare into a bowl now devoid of vegetables.  Slapping the top back down upon it, she smiled at the monk,

"I hope that ye did enjoy it and much good maun it do thee!"

CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

"No forgiveness needed, it is well met your company." Bowing his head, honestly thankful for the interruption.

As the young dragon came to him, he stroked it lightly still unsure what was the proper form of petting to such a beast but the lick and nuzzling seemed to tell him he was doing fine in befriending his friend's companion and familiar. When Tink appeared from the broth Huoshui could but smile and laugh lightly, "Tink and Nimina are quite something both. The fact that you both have such interesting familiars is quite astounding. Says much of the pureness of your hearts I would say."

CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

Dev was grinning as she watched Tink pop out.  A blush colored her visage at his compliment.

"I thank thee for the kindness of thy words.  And I do know that raven is a good man, mayhap scarred, but the better for it".

She smiled softly as she watched Numina get her cuddles,

"Is there aught that I maun do for thee Friend?"

CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

"Raven is indeed a good man. I feel that even with Tink's misbehaviour and oddities display well for the both of them. Free Spirited, and mischievous soul such as Tink to have chosen Raven. To me speaks of his own soul in ways none of us will fully understand."

Stretching a bit as he took a more relaxed seated position, smiling back to her.

"Nothing friend, I am just happy for the company. You as with everyone have done marvelous in keeping us all alive. I owe you and everyone for allowing me to join you all on this quite wonderful journey."

CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

You cross a soldier and a doctor and that was the general mindset George had, he was very focused and didn't have very many emotions. George was a spirit who was complex enough to interact with, but not enough to be much of a conversationalist. He was in way just a babby, just one given the skills and knowledge to do what he was created for, it would be years before he started to show much of a personality.

However he seamed to be doing well, overworked, but well. He ofcorse liked being overworked but it didn't give him much time to develop. He asked if Raven had brought new orders.

"No George, you seem to be doing good all on your own. I know the knight was looking for you before we left, to give you some of her energy to help out around here. Did she find you, and if so how much sooner to opening did her power put us?"

CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

"I am afraid it will still be over a month. This place may have went mostly unharmed by the bombing, but it is in years of disrepair. I work as quickly as I can, this place dose not feel right with it's city wounded and dying... it is eager to have more company, even if it will be able to interact with few."

CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

He lists off plenty of places, seams there a few refugie centers being set up and plenty are donating to help them get set up, they have all the supplies they need just need young hands and time to set up. Problem is most the people that would volunteer to help on something like this are tied up keeping the refugee camps guarded and policed. But some people come here to help when they are off there shift anyway.

CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water

"Looks like we've got a decent stock of goods, any trouble with raiders or looters to date? A place like this, filled with a big score, could prove very tempting to scum like that."

He left out how said scum would need someone to run the pilfered goods to buyers in order to make a profit off them, but he saw no reason to muddy the waters with extra facts...
