CHAPTER 3: Blood in the Water
In reply to Huoshui (msg # 56):
"I am indeed well my friend, but it seemeth to me that I have interrupted thy rest and meditation. I beg thy forgiveness! Here, in this tureen is what I am told is gooly broth for healing. Tis made to represent chicken soup, and I am assured that twill do the trick!"
As she spoke, the knight set down the tray upon which the vessel and smaller bowls rested. Her dragon, the young Nimina had entered with her and flown over to greet the monk by licking his face and nuzzling. Develanna removed the lid and swore,
"Galahad's balls!"
Tink flew out of thelarge bowl, dripping rust colored broth and scattering warm droplets everywhere. The creature belched, mimicking Raven and flew off upside down, leaving a frustrated knight to stare into a bowl now devoid of vegetables. Slapping the top back down upon it, she smiled at the monk,
"I hope that ye did enjoy it and much good maun it do thee!"
