Re: Out of Character Conversation

Hmmm with 4 of us groundies, it might be hard to blend us all into something that works with Wraith. I'm already regretting taking laser communications instead of pilot veritech :D. With that at least I could pilot a beta, even if I would suck at fighting in it. Even if I did, though, that would still leave 3 more characters to find a place for. Not an easy task.

Somehow we need to work out a Star Wars Episode 6 thing; the ground team and space/sky team coordinating efforts to accomplish a shared goal. It gets hard, though, when half the ground team just goes missing!

Severian could pretty easily hang with the sky team; his magical cycle thing can go pretty high in altitude, if I recall correctly.

If you guys change over to Valliants or Condors, space operations is a thing, the Condor even transforms.

Tomahawks are the bomb, though.

Condors do not transform in robotech. Destroids can use boosters for space operations. There are space cyclones. 20 series and I had thirteen already synced to one. he was just not told. :p

Severain can be given multible vehicles to aid him. if the situation arrives.

There is a way to get the whole team to function in space when needed. there is just a lack of Players

Cerise:
@ Vulture Crew and Banshee members Cerise sends an instant communication to your devices: All Vulture crew and Banshee members; please report to the enlisted lounge at 22:00. (OOC: I just made up the time, but I wanted it to be about and hour or two from now.)

@ Gargoyle Cerise also sends a message to LCDR Fell, requesting 10 minutes of her time, when she is available.

Kind of missed this in the storm of posts, but what time is it now, what time did we get back and what time did the party start?

Condors don't transform, but they do FLY like a plane in space, no extra boosters.. well at least on the super condor, I need to look them over again.

Re: Out of Character Conversation

Miriana: time is all relative right now! ;) Essentially that message would have been sent within an hour or so after Banshee got back to the Gambit, since all Cerise did prior to that was visit Fell (immediately), then clean up a little bit (which is relatively quick when you're a rock), then go to the Officer's lounge and have a less than 10 minute conversation.

The time int hat message wasn't necessarily 22:00; it was meant to be about an hour or two after sent; but since time is all relativistic :)), I just had to make something up!

Re: Out of Character Conversation

Cerise:
Er, Cerise had already left without giving you chance to reply; did you chase after her?

As for destroying morale to build morale; that isn't Cerise's goal; she's sacrificing some morale in order to build a solid team. After all, it doesn't matter how happy everyone is with their jobs if they can't work together. And I'm sure 10 minutes of team building games a day is not going to entirely wreck everyone's morale. And that is about how long team building exercises generally take. That is not to say that Skyrah doesn't see it a different way.

As for Fell being higher rank; no one has made the claim that Fell ORDERED that Wraith have a get together, only that she authorized it. Two very different things. Of course, Cerise (nor I) am privy to how the actual conversation went, so it may have been phrased in such a way that it was an order. But Cerise wouldn't know that, since no one has said that.

Aren't both Xavier and Thirteen actual players? Or are you NPCing one or both of them too? :( (They are the only ones who've posted recently.)

If that's how Cerise is going to be she can expect Skyrah to turn down the post as morale officer because Skyrah will take that action as Cerise not truly caring about morale. To be honest, considering she has just been crapped on by Cerise without any care to her (Skyrah's) well being what so ever, twice now in Skyrah's eyes, Skyrah will likely tell Cerise to find a new Morale officer anyway and likely take the issue up with command.

Just fair warnng. :)

all things considered I was going by 6pm chow time, 7pm party time, aside from Michelle who only had an hour that gave about two hours for whatever before Cerise's meeting with everyone.

Not sure about anyone else but IRL I get up every morning at 4am so am usually crawling my ass into bed by 8pm, no later then 9pm so i'm functional for the day.

Cerise's meeting was with Banshee and the Shuttle, not with Wraith since we're having our own party.

Not only that but I am willing to wager Skyrah's email is about to ruffle a lot of feather's.

Lol drama drama drama. as a gm i kinda find it funny. However as a CO of your groups i have to take a different stance.

Yes, however she also took Cerise's words literally. MEaning Cerise litterally wanted them to spend all thier off time together. Then stormed off with even giving Skyrah one care less. And trust me, Skyrah's fit's not over yet. :)

Definitely; true to be true to form, the hissy fit needs to go on for at least a week, even if later clarification makes it clear that the original premise upon which it was based was not correct. Maybe especially if that occurs. :D

Hmm... Taking myself as an example, i need at least three hours of sleep before anything short of a plasma cannon can wake me up again. So, the message (and it being rescinded) would not have been heard then.

That's why i needed to check... She's had a double shift, followed by obligatory PE and a mission she just got back from. I also mentioned her being a heavy sleeper before, so short of Severian shaking her she's not going to be waking up anytime soon i fear.

Well, premise and perception are differant. Cerise did say that all downtime was supposed to be spent with all three groups together. And worse, demanded an immediate response from Skyrah about her new position, which likely was not possible at the time, and is why ships have PA's announcing battle stations. Then didn't take into account Skyrah's condition the day before thier little spat went down, where she was sent to quarters AND under narcotics. Then there was the massive PT and training of the current day. IT is not a hard sell to figure out that she may have either missed the message, or not had a chance to do anything about it yet. In all, Skyrah is actually being VERY mild in her actions all things considering. A normal teen would have been yelling and screaming at Cerise, and a normal GAK teen would have likely been 'retired'. All Skyrah did was try to counter point, but got Cerise's backside instead, so went to forget all about how Cerise is basically like the High Command and see's as nothing but property.

Speaking only in the all know god eye.

Cerise nor Kaarle have any idea of what was done in the Synchro chamber. nor do they know she was medicated afterwards. my sister Amber was very scary when mad, i rarely heard her raise her voice.

Cerise:
Having dismissed you, she immediately turns and heads off, not waiting for a response.
she posted first, she dismissed you. you carried on.

Re: Out of Character Conversation

In reply to Gargoyle (msg # 1003):

Valid points, I agree.

However both have idea's because they saw Michelle and Thirteen go through a simple synchro. Cerise has at least partially Michelle's punishment. So idea's can be formed. Questions asked. And while they do not know she was medicated, they do know she was given bedrest for the day.

And you are right, she did post first and dismiss Skyrah. Which only reinforces Skyrah's view that Cerise is no better then Command in viewing them as property. It also validates that yes, she was acting like a teen in trying to defend herself, however it also reinforces Skyrah's view against Cerise as well.

Definitely some good roleplay potential here! I'm loving it!

----

As to being scary when mad, I have been told that when I am angry, as long as I am still yelling at you things are cool, but the minute I grow quiet and am STILL mad I get uber scary. Of course, it was before my time in the military I was told that, and I'd like to hope I matured since then. Maybe? lol

For the few that do not know, namely the new peeps, Skyrah has heterochromia. What that is is where your eyes are different colors. She has a blue one and a green one.
