Re: Operation Stealth Rescue

Kaarle Cherkovski:
"How many times do i have to tell you to stop calling me sir?" he says jokingly to try and get her to calm down.  "You needn't worry about being grounded...your an adult now, piss me off and it's PT" he says with a smile before making his way to the hanger and on with the mission.

Michelle’s Demeanor instantly  changes with Kaarles smile and more importantly the reassurance he would not take away her flight status away. Her smile is almost seductive as she reminds her of their conversation about calling him sir. Her voice is soft and playfully sweet and the hint of her famine charm can just be heard as she replies; “Actually Sir, You said to stop calling you Sir, until it was made official.  She leans forward on her tippy toes just a little over and inch as her smile grows ear to ear as she looks up at him and says; "And well Sir, its official. Your squad leader, Wraith One. Sir!”

Her smile turns to a playful frown as she replies to his suggested PT punishment; “But Kchek, I’m a fragile flower. You’re not supposed to make me do Extra PT, sir.” Her pouting bottom lip quivers as she bats her sapphire blue eyes at you.  Then with a more serious looks She says; “Thank you Kchek, I will not let you down.” With that she lets you get to your stuff and she walks over to get ready herself. But as she walks away you notice her flight suit has added boning to it about her entire suit.

If no other conversation is made she continues on in her first post.

Thirteen readies himself and carefully puts on his armor. He takes his Cyclone and moves it to the appropriate storage section of the ahip that would be taking them to the target. He runs a diagnosis through the Bike's systems to make certain everything is alright. He stays quiet and in his own corner of the ship.

Once everyone began prepping, Miriana waited for a moment while the others worked, so she could take care of a problem directly if something didn't align well on the systems check. It was more efficient than climbing in her Hunter-Killer only to have to leave it again to look at a technical problem or another.

Iphigenia, after giving Michelle the shot that she needed went to her bunk and grabbed her go bags and proceeded to the beta.

She checked on her cyclone and noticed that the side-car was not there as well, and she thought to herself "Should I request that it be brought just in case?"

Iphigenia found her seat, sat down and buckled in. She was waiting for the rest of the crew so that they could leave and get this mission started. She shouted "Let's get this show on the road!"

Re: Operation Stealth Rescue

Once the meeting was over Sillia climbed into her power armor and boarded the Beta. After she secures herself, she removes the power armor's helmet so she can interact with those in the beta.

She looks at the others and with a bit of sarcasm; "Well is it not roomy in here? So what shall we do to entertain ourselves for the flight?" she looks over at thirteen trying to hide in the corner. "Hey kid, I got a reply from my kid sister. She says she like to chat with you. She said she love to have a hunting partner." She gives him a wink with the friendly smile she seemed to always wear.

Once the word is given that they have arrived to the Zentraedi vessel her smile leaves her face as she places her helm back on.

Thirteen check on his blade mounts on the bike to make sure they were properly balanced when he heard something calling to him. He turned towards Sillia and blinked.

"Oh, uhm... alright..."

He replied utterly lost about how to take that in. He couldn't remember the last time he spoke to a civilian and he suspected the same would apply even before his memory issues.

Standing at attention he moves to a parade rest. "Master Sargeant Korvan Eshta reporting as ordered Ma'am."(with a hint of annoyance). He moves back to attention. His dress uniform is in perfect condition. His eyes straight ahead not moving a single muscle.

*Now that I'm here I am going to have to send an email to COMMANDER Rockatansky and thank him for my abrupt transfer back here.  It's gotta be him who else would it be?  I hope my ZEB got here ok.  I'm going to have to check with the Support and find out.  What's that saying Micronians have again?  Oh, "Attached to the Hip" comes to mind.*

(OOC: I am not a 100% sure who I'm actually speaking or introduced to.)

Re: Operation Stealth Rescue

Miriana gave a quick nod in return to acknowledge Korvan's salute.

- "Excellent, welcome to Banshee Squadron, Sergeant. Do you have a mecha assigned?"

She hadn't heard of someone new transferring in, and figured it had to have been a rather sudden transfer given that the last time she had checked her emails she had heard nothing of it, and she had even seen the Commander yesterday. But no matter, Micronians were disorganized enough by nature for her to have learned to adequately compensate for it by now.

In reply to Gargoyle (msg # 41):

Skyrah will carefully examine the new helmet before putting it on. "Interesting, but I get all this on my Cyclone anyway, and most of it on Albatros. Only better." She would obviously accept the helmet, considering there is always a chance she'd be without either of her Mecha.

Gargoyle:

"Your recon person would stand out as well with the Cyclopes they just gave as since they have the capability to send data packets to all squad members." Skyrah said calmly. "Seems me and you will stand out Cerise." It did not seem to bother Skyrah at all.

After all is said and done she will put her satchel back over her shoulder, the wooden case attached to it, and head to Albatros. Once within she will conduct her checks.

Miriana gave Korvan a quick nod, checking the message she had just received before replying.

- "I would assume so. But if there are no additional small arms available you will join the perimeter defense squad while we board the vessel. There will be no notable loss of efficiency. You may proceed."

Given that she had heard of no problems having been reported, she took that to mean that all preliminary checks were green and proceeded to climb into her own Hunter-Killer, taking deep and even breaths to focus on the mission to come.

Her choice seemed obvious enough. Sillia, as both scout and sniper, had what she assumed were the best sensor package in the squadron, and Korvan was an expert on Zentraedi vessels so he would be able to add information to whatever sensor feed Sillia would send him. And Thirteen, her XO, to manage and coordinate between them, as she figured he'd be better inside of his suit than out of it.

In a sign of trust, she powered down her weapons before beginning her approach. She still had her fingers ready to power them back up again in case she would be fired upon, but if the scout ship had operational scanners they would pick up on the fact that they were not being regarded as an enemy. Hopefully.

I am confused by these orders to the Group. Your all Inside a beta transport, except. You are in a suit of HK hunter killer. Korvan and the three Alpha are the only large mecha of this team.
Rear guard as far as I know stay at the back of the team. Are you taking your medic and tech specialist onto a point (front position)

OOC: Eh, sorry. Got confused by the people suiting up and Cerise's squadron orders and figured we were all in our mechs.

And yeah, my intention was to head on board of the disabled ship and see if there was anything in need of repairs to get the scout ship operational again. And Iphigenia, because she's listed as 'Search and Rescue' so if we run into any survivors she can take care of them. Or at least know what to do more than a couple of gearheads like Patterson and me. Wraith was going to cover us, so i figured it'd be fine.

Re: Operation Stealth Rescue

Korvan does a cursory system check even after talking to the flight crew.
Sensory Equipment 60%/50% - Pass

Korvan communicates via radio "This is Whisper, all systems check out in full.  Launching..."
Radio Basic: 70%/67% - Pass.

Korvan enters space last following orders and being rear guard with the rest of Banshee Squadron.

"Team I recommend complete passive sensors only, no radio contact until we land on that ship.  Chances are this is a trap set up by surviving Zentraedi and/or a lure for the Invid.  There is a good chance a beacon may have already been sent when our fleet arrive in system.  There is too much space debris and and junk floating around in space to assume its clear. It makes me a bit nervous. If we have Shadow Fighters available I recommend another sweep of the ship especially around enemy anti aircraft locations any other ice debris or chunks of metal that may mask against and please fly to the other side of the ship as well.  The ship has not detected any active sensors being used against us but people have eyes.  I also recommend and this is up to the CO is to allow me to enter that hanger and sweep the area with one other designated person of your choice.  Other notes of interest.  That ship has holes and debris so contact with our ship will be limited to non existent.  Remember we may be facing a full on set and then more of surviving Zentreadi so expect to see a a plethora of foot soldiers, Battle Pods, OBP, and male power armor. So keep your guard up and eyes and ears open and do not just trust your scopes."

Secure Communicae to Lt. Thakun
"Ma'am I also recommend portable radio transpeaters for situations like this.  I also recommend if anyone on our team has extensive knowledge of computer systems to download anything they can find especially navigation and missions this vessel has participated in there should a log somewhere in the data banks and a back up location typically located at the center of the scout ship."

OOC: Note to GM, I still do not know Engrish....
