Xavier, laughs at Aravae after she says that trouble finds her, and thinks to himself it would be nice to go see the planet if it is possible, I must ask someone about it.
After about half an hour of looking out the huge windows Xavier says, I think we should get going, Ive got to go get clean and ready for bed. Your sister should be here soon and you know I've got to look my best for her.
With that Xavier starts heading towards the direction of his room.

Karma was flying in her Alpha, it was dark outside, but she could look out her canopy and see her wingman Batgirl.  Then suddenly she was flying through the air like she was in a Veritech pilot's seat, but there was no Veritech and she was flying through the air nonetheless.  She could feel her heart pounding in her chest, threatening to burst out, she felt like she was going to fall right out of the sky, but she couldn't look down.  Sudden stop!  And boom, she felt the sting of her face as she landed hard on the floor, but she couldn't see again.  She wanted to cry out, but she could move.  She was stuck to something, something hard and cold.  She tried to push up, but her arms seemed to have no strength.  Her mouth opened in a scream, but nothing came out, she wanted to cry, but no tears came.  Then suddenly she was in a cell, tucked away in a corner rocking herself with her knees curled up to her chest.  She heard a man yelling, it was her father.  She tried to look, she wanted to get up and run to him.  She was 8 years old again, *whack*, she felt the sting of her father's hand across her face.  She had picked up the lollipop, she only wanted to hold it, she wanted to get it, but she just forgot and walked out -- honestly.  She began to cry, sob uncontrollably.  Then a punch in the gut by an invisible hand, she was an adult again, curled up in a fetal position on a bed.  Her throat, it hurt, it burned -- it felt like something was shoved down her windpipe.  Breathing was hard, she grasped at her face feeling something hard she pulled...

She gasped for air as the intubated tube that was helping her breath was ripped out from her throat.  It felt like someone had poured a fire down her throat and she coughed, dry and hard, a smattering of blood speckling her grey hospital gown.  The lights, they were so damn bright, she held up her hand to shield them from the light as she coughed more nearly retching, but her stomach was pretty much empty.  As she moved about violently, she could feel painful tugs on her hands, wrists, and forearms.  Through blurry vision she could see needles coming from those places of pain with tubes leading to bags and electronic contraptions she couldn't comprehend at the moment.  A furious, but consistent beeping seemed to come into focus in her hearing.  Soon thereafter the dull thumping of footfalls(?) -- someone running perhaps.  Her vision still blurry the coughing subsiding slightly, she could see a figure in a doorway, wearing white (?) -- she could hear yelling, but only a few words managed to filter through the haze, "...doctor...wake...orderly...help..."  It was all overwhelming, and the blackness began to edge in again, she felt herself fall back.  Something soft caught her though this time, and she tried to callout, but her throat hurt so damn bad, only a raspy whisper came out, _{"Michelle..."}, then a fade to black...

   As Karma comes and goes from consciousnesses, she hears the soft reassuring voice of a medical staff. each time she come to, there are less and less medical wires and tubes attached to her till there is only a heart monitor on her finger and the IV still giving her liquids.

   When she finally wakes a nurse smiles down at her. "welcome back Lieutenant. Your friend will be happy to see you when she sneaks in later."  she takes hold of Karma's wrist and checks her pulse. "You may feel a bit sore for a few days as your muscles have been unused for a while. Take it slow. do not rush to get up. Ok?"

  She pushes a small table with a food tray forward so it was within reach. "Here is some soup and jello. Try to eat some. A doctor will be in shortly."

As Karma's vision fades into focus, she tries to open her mouth, but her mouth is so dry it hurts.  Instead she can only nod in acknowledgement and thanks.  Karma thought to herself, Michelle! At the mention of soar mucseles, as if on cue, they all lit up like they were smoldering causing Karma to let out a quiet grunt, "Uh."  Still she nodded again to the nurse.

As the tray of food was offered to her she stared at it momentarily as if she forgot what she was supposed to be doing with it.  Lifting her slightly atrophied right arm she manages to grab the spoon on the tray and scope some soup feebly into her own mouth.  It was both soothing and rough going down and it made her gag and cough, so much she nearly retched, but since her stomach was empty she only dry heaved.  This felt like this was going to be a start a long arduous road.  At least in a coma she wasn't aware of time passing...

  As Karma lays there debating her fate, one of the ships doctors enters her space with a young man and woman behind him. He smiles politely as he speaks. "I am glad to see you have rejoined the living." he pauses for a moment to give her a chance to ask any questions before he continues. "You will make a full recovery, your memory maybe a bit fuzzy as you suffered massive injuries when your fighter was forced down. But as you can see and feel. The bad news is your gonna be hurting for few days. However these two are here to help get you through it. They are physical therapist and quite good at their jobs. They will come every couple hours and they will stretch and massage you. I will not lie to you Ms. Murphy, this will hurt in the beginning, it will help speed up your recover. I have informed your Commander and he said to tell you he will visit when he is done in CIC. when you are ready Corpsman Susan here will help you to put some PJs on so you can walk around a bit."

  He gives you a chance to ask questions.


  Once your questions are answered, he leave. As to not make you feel uncomfortable Marcus the young man excuses himself while Susan helps you get into something more then a paper gown. Basic medical pjs and once you are dressed they begin to spend the next hour putting your body into painful stretches as they begin your therapy. once they are finished susan helps to undress you and Marcus gives you an hour long full body massage. Though it hurts, while he is doing it, when he finishes you feel better. Susan returns afterwards and she helps you to a sitting shower and she gives you your first shower in a month. they are friendly and they willing answer any questions you may have.

Karma has so many questions, she wasn't sure where to begin, when given the opportunity she asks, "Was I dead?  How long have I been here Doc?  How did I get here?  How much longer do I have to stay?"  She was obviously still a little upset by the ordeal, but she was ready to recover.

The massage, the bath, even the exercising and stretching that hurt so good all was exhausting.  It had also been the first time a man has touched her in a long while, so it felt especially tingly with Marcus' trained hands and touch, even though she grunted nearly every time he touched her, and especially kneaded her muscles.

When it was all said and she was ready to just pass out, hopefully into sleep and not another coma...

  The Doctor gives a friendly smile as he listens to her questions before replying. "No you did not die, though we were worried you would not wake from your coma. You had some serious internal injuries and since we were not sure how bad of impact you may have suffered when your Alpha hit the ground. When the rescue forces arrived you were in the vultures sickbay being tended by Corpsman Ramsbottom. We want to keep you for at least twenty four hours for observation. after that you are free to go when you are able to hold food down and you feel up to it."

She simply nodded as she listened to the Doctor explain what happened.  She was surprised at being able to leave after only 24-hours, but at least she didn't have to leave.  And the Commander was supposed to visit.  She wondered where Michelle was at, hoping she was ok where ever she was at, and hoping she would come visit soon.

After the PT and ever so welcome shower she did doze off.  Her sleep was restless though and she awoke with a start.  Again a little disorientated as the room lights had been dimmed, obviously to let her rest.  It took a second, but she remembered where she was now.

Her stomach hurt and she fumbled around in the dark to look for a light switch by the bed.  Finally a bed side lamp illuminated just a small part of the room.  She sat up on the edge of the bed holding her gut, nausea making her head swim.  Then she felt the push from her gut, she hopped off the bed and ran to the bathroom, barely making it in time to vomit into the toilet.  Falling to her knees she grasped the side of the bowl heaving a few more times till there was nothing left but bile.  Groaning she laid her head on her arm holding the side of the bowl and thought to herself, So much for holding food down...

  @ Karma - with her head still using her as a pillow on the head, She hears the soft sympathetic voice of Commander Rockatansky from the door way; "Well it looks like you will not be leaving her anytime soon." he says as he take a washcloth and wets it with cool water from the sink before pulling her hair back and gently wiping her face.
  when she is ready he helps her back to bed. If she desires to stay where she is he sits next to her. either way he gets her a glass of water and insist she sips it to prevent dehydration.
  Once they are settled he give a forced smiles at her as he speaks; "Michelle is gonna be excited to see you when she gets back. She believes she killed you. The Doctors said you were not likely to ever wake. They were getting ready to return you to freedom station where there is better medical facilities to tend to you." his smile fades as he continues. "She is in real trouble if she comes home Karma, she pulled a weapon on both the medic and the CO of wraith squadron." He shacks his head. "I wish you were with her, you always had a spell over her and she listened to you. Dr. Ikari wants her retired. He ordered her death on mission. But I think Kaarle has a thing for her and I trust he will get her home. but she is in real trouble and i am not sure if i can prevent Dr. Ikari from getting his way."


  Xavier - as you and Aravae separate and go do your own things she tells you to have fun and she see you in a bit when Sillia got back. Your stuff is in your room at the foot of your bed. quarters are quite nice for being on a active warship.

Karma can barely lift her head as she tries to glance back at the familiar and welcome voice.  She groans a little and tries to laugh, but it just seems to hurt, and all she can say is "Oh..."


Karma allows herself to be picked up.  Well she tries to assist the Commander in getting her up, but it's rather feeble.  She was done smiling her own vomit and happily returned to the bed.  Her head still swimming a bit, but not as bad at least with the nausea. She sits on the side of the bed taking the offered glass of water and sips at it, mostly to wash out the taste of vomit in her mouth.  She's a little embarrassed looking this way in front of the Commander, but at the moment it couldn't be helped.


All Karma could do was shake her head, as if she were telling Michelle herself that she wasn't dead and it wasn't her fault.  Karma did think to herself maybe it would be nice to get to Freedom Station for a bit of recovery.  She was not prepared to hear what he said next...


Karma manages to lift her head or at least turn it so she can look directly at the Commander because she was in disbelief.  Her eyes welled up a bit, but she didn't cry, all she could say was "Oh Michelle."  She wanted to cry, but she really was dehydrated, an IV of saline might have been in order.  She looked at the Commander again, "We have to save her, they can't take her away.  What can we do?  What can I do?"  Also, at the back of her mind she thought, Kaarle has a thing for her? Makes sense I guess...

Xavier gives Aravae a hug  and a pat on the head then proceeds to tell her to behave and that he will see her later when Sillia arrives back from her mission.

When he gets to their room he likes how spacious it is, he takes off his breathing apparatus and begins to make the place a little more home like in appearance knowing that Sillia will be excited to see him, especially since he didn't actually tell her when he was going to be there, or that her sister was going to be closer.

  the three alphas meet up with the others and escort them back to the mask. Upon arrival Banshee squad is given permission to board and once they are out of their mecha and armor, they are shown to the galley to get food and drinks. they are advise to work on their mission reports done. (a paragraph should work.)

  Mean while wraith squadron take their position and are given the same advise. Before the fold a coded message is sent out and the Zentraedi Vessel Explodeds from the charges set by Sparks. the count down begins and a little over an hour later the fleet in orbit of a large orange tinted landscape.

  Viper squad appears out of no where and has Wraith Squadron wait while they retreive Banshee squad. They board the beta with the understanding their mecha and combat gear would follow shortly.
  the beta holding Banshee squad is first to land followed by reader, Kchek and finally Batgirl.
  Xaivier and Aravae are waiting along with the Commander and his first lieutenant Fell. Sgt. Franklin and several members of the Wildcards in CVR armor are there as well. Once Michelle disembarks She is approached by Lt. Fell and Sgt Franklin.  the Lieutenant whispers something into Michelles ear and she follows the orders to remove her armor and surrender her personal sidearms. Franklin then cuffs her hands behind her back and takes her into custody. The commander has Lt. Fell and the Wildcards take her away.

  He smiles over At Aravae who runs over to Sillia and jumps into her arms given her hugs and kisses. She is given a few minutes before she is instructed to wait for Sillia and Xavier.
  The Commander addresses the Vulture Team. I want to congratulate your all on a mission well done, you may not have realized what you have found. But High Command is excited. You discovered a Ci'Vonian or you may have heard of them by their more common name The Disciples of Zor. The Data you helped too retrieve will be studied and hopefully we can find where they vanished too.

  I want your mission reports by 0600 hours. You have twenty four hours to rest for the next two weeks you will be training for wargames. You will be reporting to Sgt Franklin, for PT and combat drills at 0600 hours in the gym.

  After this he looks at Cerise; I'd like to see you and your unit commanders in my office in ten minutes. He turns to Skyrah and Thirteen, You two are to report Lab zero and zero at 0800 hours.

  It is april 1s 10 pm. your monthly pay has been added to your PC sheets.

Kaarle had wasted little time in getting his report ready for the Commander, once they were on board the mask, and no other calamities taking place, he had taken the time to get everything in order.


After hearing the announcements he beelines for the Commanders office.  Once there he stands at attention, saluting as necessary and waiting for the others to arrive.

He waits patiently for the reprimand that's sure to come over how things were handled.  It was after all his first leadership experience, and while he thought he was ready for it, it was clear to anyone present that he lacked experience where a far more seasoned office would have done exceedingly well.  He tried to excuse the fact that he was leading effectively a bunch of high strung, hormonal teenagers through hell and back but that didn't dissuade the sense of failure he felt for letting things get out of hand with Michelle and Skyrah.  Both pushed his buttons for completely different reasons, neither of which boded well for this meeting as he prepared to get thrown under the proverbial bus by his younger charges.

  Once she is out of her Hunter Killer Power Armor, she stretches for several minutes. then she joins up with the others and goes to the mess hall and gets some chow. She stays near the others and constantly looking round. When given the order to write her mission summery she laugh to herself.

  Mission Summery

   We boarded Zentraedi vessel by Beta drop ship. Once the team disembark the chain of command seemed broken as one officer would give orders that contradicted the others orders. when ordered to move, we stay togeather as a team and engage combat drones. Once we made it to Auxiliary engine room, Sgt. Thirteen who was forced to answer to A PFC, Severian and I were sent ahead of the group. While we were ahead of the main force force it appeared that the Kids implants were attacked. While I am not sure what happened with the others it sounded bad over the radio. Thirteen followed his orders without question and removed his combat mecha against my wishes. We were placed in harms way and crippled as a unit.
  I am not sure why command deemed it nessary to kill one of our team in such a wasteful way. But the young girl followed her orders. We secured the area, while command and our team hack the ships computer and hopefully got what they wanted.
  During extraction without the beta we were forced to hold on for dear life. we fought with what we could as Sgt. Korvan pushed us back to the Mask.

  She looks over to Thirteen smiles that he was safe. The others seemed ok as well, but there was something that may not be being said. but there was tension with the group. She says to those around her; "This may get me in trouble for saying." she points at her report.

  Once abaord the Mask. Michelle makes her way to the Mess hall with the others. but now that everyone was safe she just politely smiles and finds a corner to hide in and keeps to herself. She does not bother to write a report.

  Once she lands on the Gambit she does not resist being arrested. But when she learns that Karma has survived and was awake. She smiled to herself not making eye contact with any of the others as she felt the shame of being arrested in front of everyone. She follows the Lt. Fell to whatever her fate would be.

Saddness was in Max's eyes as he say the concern in Karma's eyes. He had not realized how much he cared for her, she was like family, you dont realize they are there, until they are gone. "Don't worry, I'm doing everything in my power to keep her safe. There will be consequences but I will not let her or you down." He helps her to lay back and tells her to rest and that he will make sure Michelle could see her before the night was over. Then he excused himself and went to his office and contacted nerv.

Cerise begins composing her report as soon as she has landed on the Mask; she knows that any ordinary military that happen to have any say over the unit's command will find the breakdown in command disheartening, but she feels that they actually did rather well in the end; despite completely unexpected circumstances, they prevailed, and without any casualties; it will be upon her and the other leaders to make sure that the bright sunlight of the situation shines through the associated gloom.

Once Cerise has the report prepared, she wastes no time submitting it. Aboard the Gambit, when asked to debrief in 10 minutes, Cerise stops in her quarters to quickly make certain any scuffs or grease she may have acquired during the mission are cleaned off, and changes into a fresh uniform, then reports immediately. On her way to her room, she comms Kaarle and Miriana: "See you in the commanders office in 10; let's try to present a unified face; and, remember, ultimately the mission was successful."
Cerise make certain she arrives within the 10 minute window; she arrives with about 30 seconds to spare, since she took the time to clean up. Once she's there she salutes and remains at attention until given an order to be at ease. What she wouldn't do for an hour in some sunlight right now.

In reply to Gargoyle (msg # 22):

Skyrah would have her report basically done before they even landed. In perfect detail she would highlight what went wrong, and what went right. How instead of listening to tactical advice she was told to basically shut up, and how instead of filing a status report with Cerise she was made to file it and once more basically told to shut up. While her report was respectful, and used respectful terminology she spared no detail and even placed in it her own faults on the mission to include it being her that convinced Wraith Squadron to disobey orders and save Michelle.

After the commander addresses them, and just as he is about to leave Skyrah will step forward. "Commander, may I speak to you for a moment please sir?" She would ask politely, standing at perfect attention and waiting patiently for his reply. Right now, at this moment, she looked like the perfect soldier she was bred to be.

Max looks at the young lieutenant standing before him. Seeing that she came to him was not entirely surprising but would save him time later. His reply was formal; "Yes, follow me to my office." He leads her to his office holding the door so she can enter. He offer her a seat as he steps behind his own desk and sitting himself. "Lets not stand on formality here Lieutenant Valentine. Speak your mind and say what you need to say. I have alot to do."

Thirteen is glad to be back and see that everyone was well. Seeing Michelle arrested made him flinch. He tries not to let it show too much and stands in attention when addressed. He nods and salutes to his order. Having to report to the lab did not surprise him. What was truly up in the air is how bad this particular process was going to be. He silently sits down and works on his report.

We arrived to our target where I was ordered to scout under the command of FPC Sillia. As we moved the ship made an attempt to hack into our vehicles which, due to our links, lead to it attempted to hack my mind. I was ordered to disembark from my Cyclone which I did. FPC Sillia then ordered me to return to armor mode as to protect our group. To prevent any further hacking attempts I closed radio access. Afterwards we made a quick retreat from the ship and engaged in a battle in space. Due to my having closed my radio access, however, I am uncertain as to what occurred. 

When he finished he looked at it for a moment. He suddenly felt very tired as he thought more about what was likely coming tomorrow. He quietly stood up and walked to the door.

As Aravae runs up and jumps at her Sillia grabs her and squeezes her. She is ashamed at not being able to stop Michelle's arrest. But she smiled and tried to be happy. She Looks over at Fillon and Smiles at him. "Your so big now." she says to Aravae as she gives her a final squeeze. she shares a couple minutes of small talk with her kid sister before she runs up to her husband and repeats Aravae's leap on to him. She removes their mask and kisses him for several seconds. "I have missed you." she tells him.

  She watches Thirteen, he looked to grown up for someone his age. Before he can leave she yells over to him. "Thirteen! This is my kid sister Aravae, She is suppose to be staying in my old bunk until arrangements for her are settled. would you be willing to show her the way?"

Skyrah would quietly follow the Commander to his office, quietly entering when he held the door open for her. When offered the seat, she would quietly sit.  She said quietly. Wishing she was contacting her father under better circumstances.

Karma is exhausted, and allows Max to help her lie down back in bed.  Before the Commander leaves she grabs his arm and pleads, "Make sure she's ok.  And send me a message when she gets back, please, I want to see her.  No matter what.  Please..."  Her eyes welling up, but being dehydrated she doesn't have enough except for one tear to streak down her cheek as her lips quiver.

@ Karma. Before leaving replies; "I will." And a couple hours later a nurse politely informs her of Michelles return.

@ Reader. The commander has a private channel opened to commander Ikari. His expressions are kept neutral as he lets her speak with him. "What do you want, I'm extremely busy at the moment?" Dr Ikari ask with a bit of annoyance in his voice.

Thirteen stopped and looked towards Sillia as she explained who the person with her was. He gave her a polite greeting.

"Hello Aravae." He turned to Sillia and nodded. "Alright."
