Turning back to Miriana she nods.

  The Veritech lands, Lieutenant Colonel Thatcher meets them, once Ltcmdr Fell is disembarked he escorts her to the airlock on in the cargo pods. She enters the connected cargo pods and enters after it decompresses, removing her CVR helmet, setting it down on a crate.  She maintains a very professional appearance despite being in her CVR armor.

   She nods to Cerise; “Sadly I am here to shake up your mission.”
  She looks at Miriana; “It is the commanders understanding you desire to take on a more technical post.  You are hereby relieved of command of Banshee Squad and promoted to second in command of Vulture. If something happens to Cerise, Lt. Cherkovski will assume mission command. But you will command Vulture. Do you have any questions?”

  She then turns to Kaarle; “I am afraid this will leave you one pilot short for the remainder of this mission and possibly a bit longer until I can find another.” She then turns to Lt. Valentine. “Lieutenant Colonel Thatcher contacted the commander about you. It is the Commanders opinion that you have the skill set to take command of Banshee Squad Lieutenant. For the duration of this mission you will be confined to your cyclone and Sgt. Korvan is to remain Banshee squadrons EXO with no exception. He has served with the commander for over twenty years and has his complete trust. You are hereby promoted to Banshee One." She then hands you your new unit patch.

   She takes a minute to examine the group before she returns her gaze on Skyrah “The Commander has sent you a secured message. I recommend you find a private place and watch it on your tablet before your mission briefing. Do you have any questions?”
  Her gaze returns to Kaarle, "figure out who you want to be the Exo of Wraith squadron. I know you have a secured message awaiting you as well. So find a private space and watch it quickly as well. I Know Lieutenant Colonel Thatcher and the other officers are awaiting outside. But I would like a few minutes alone with Lt. Cerise. So everyone but her is dismissed to get ready for the briefing which will be held on the Apex (Garfish)."

   Once the others leave her facial expression becomes more stern;

  Once Kaarle and the others called to the pod to meet with Sophie, she pulls out her tablet and reads its contents. She begins typing in earnest.

  She then set the Tablet down. smiling at the group. yet unable to hide her curious looks at Sillia. "The Commander wished us all good luck on the mission today." she looks around through glazed as she mindlessly reaches for some more trail mix. her voice seemed distant as she spoke; "I wonder what our mission objective will be today."

Thirteen looked at his tablet and began typing as he ate. He continued to do so slowly and with as much concentration as he could muster.

Vindicator glances over to where the officers and NCO's are having their meeting.  He figures he'll find out what that's all about later.  With his meal done, he starts checking his gear and weapons, packing up, and getting ready to move out, should that order come.

Cerise takes it all in and considers for a moment.

Mirage pockets her brownie for later, and moves to finish up, pulling on her flightsuit and adjusting things, she does give Gerelt a nod.

Cerise:
  she looks away for a second before she continues:

  With the que of the others, she goes and gets her cvr-3 on. She then steps next to Thirteen.

 She walks over to Mirage, ""I apologize for my lack of professionalism.  I will not let it happen again." she looks around. Perhaps one day we can be friends. with that she goes back over to Thirteen. "I wish I was like other normal kids. I would have liked to have known my mother. We have that in common Thirteen, neither of us knows a life outside of the military." her look is softer as she wanders off to sit again.

She smirked, finishing the last of her plate before meeting with Thatcher and Fell. In response to hearing of her promotion, she was a bit surprised, though she supposed Cerise had to have relayed what she had told her the other day to Command for them to have heard of it. Still, it was somewhat surprising how fast they had acted on it, but it was an order and she wasn't about to complain. She saluted in turn.

- "Just the mission parameters for my new post, ma'm."

Sophie give Miriana a quick return salute a flash smile: "The current mission is be ready for extraction and rescue if need be. After that maintain the ship and crew. And be ready for any mission that may come your way."

Miriana gave a quick nod before replying.

- "Understood, ma'm. With your leave i'll reacquaint myself with the ship to see if she's fully prepped for emergency rescue."

And she waited for either Sophie to reply or to be dismissed, in much the same way she had dismissed Korvan earlier.

Gerelt finishes checking his rifle before setting it against his Devastatir cyclone.  He quickly straps on his cyclone body armor and walks over to Mirage and Michelle.

"So what do you suppose is going in over there, Lieutenants?"  Gerelt nods over to where the officers are having their meeting.

"Do you think we're about to get our orders?"

It's obvious that Gerelt "Vindicator" Ashtar is chomping at the bit to get things rolling.

Mirage looks up from her pre-flight checks.

"No use speculating."

Severian enters the cafeteria for a quick meal. He had been very busy - fine tuning the new updated armor of his with its new magical enhancements and conferring with Sentinel High Command and the Admiral concerning the augmented members of this fleet.

It had not sat well with him when he had heard the full extent of the modifications done to these individuals. Gathering his repast, he looked for Cerise and sat before her.

"Greetings Cerise - how have your games of war been going? I have some things to discuss with you at length but away from scrying senses, if you understand my meaning?"

Thirteen thought about what Michelle had written him but thinking about Avarae just reminded him on how much he missed her. He turned towards her as she walked towards him and nodded in agreement and support. He then stood up to get coffee, or whatever the closest facsimile the ship had available. He was going to need it today, and a lot of it.

Kaarle digested the contents of the meeting and once it was completed he responded in earnest having no desire to change things up at this point.

"Reader will take charge as Exo of Wraith Squadron" he stated as he turned to look at her.  He had full confidence in her abilities, and more so, whether she realized it or not she was a better choice for command then any among them.  When given his orders to review his personal message he steps aside allotting some privacy to review its contents.

His face twisted in a irritation at once again having to deal with command's bullshit.  He tried not to let it show to much as he looked at his team members but it was evident that whatever he had been ordered was less than appreciated simply because he knew it would affect the success of their mission let alone their morale at this point.

If this was commands idea of team building it was piss poor at best, and worst just another attempt fuck with him.

   She could only hope the mission would start soon. The tension in the air was getting thicker by the minute. She wanted to bring each of her friends not and happiness.  And then it struck her, she actually considered everyone here a friend. A person she had grown to care about. Even if it seemed distant most the time. She wanted to come clean to the others, tell them the true mission which they were now part of. But fear kept her lips tight. She selfishly did not want to suffer the consequences of such action.  While it was true she did not agree with the way it was being carried out,  she believed in the end result.

  So she did the only thing she could think of, she smiled and tried to make small talk to put everyone at ease.

Karl couldn't help but smile as he watched Michelle continue her journey out of her shell.  It was weird to him how much of difference in her personality there was now.  For good or bad he hoped that the outcome of the mission wouldn't strain their relationship anymore than it already was given their short time together.

He stepped over to her lightly brushing up against her left arm.

"so are you all ready for this?"
  He said reassuringly to his team but more for Michelle's benefit.

He knew he'd been distant lately and looked forward to the next time when training and missions aren't all encompassing of their time together.

  Once in her flight suit, Sillia walked over to Thirteen while giving the young female officer who kept staring at her a curious look. "Your friend seems overly interested today. What are you two up to kid?" She whispers the last bit;

  She begins prepping her own gear. double checking to make sure she had a full load out for her weapons.

  When she hears Gerelt and Miriage, she decided to throw her own two cents in; "It is generally better to not ask such questions. But if gossip is the order of the day, I bet it has to do with the kids. That is generally why command interjects into our teams."

  Cerise -

   Sophie diverts her eyes for a second before looking up at you.

  She catches herself as she begins to cringe as Severian approaches Cerise. She gives a quick nod before grabbing her helmet and making her way to the airlock.  She meets up with Sgt. Franklin and is escorted to Vyper One and his Veritechs.


  Lieutenant Colonel Thatcher and Lieutenant Wildstar, enters the airlock as Lieutenant Commander Fell disembarks. Seeing Cerise; "When your teams are ready have them assemble in front of the Apex and have your command staff join the mission Briefing in the Hanger.

   With that they to disembark and make their way back to the Apex.

   She looks at Gerelt as if only just hearing the question after Sillia replied. She, thought for a second before replying in a playful way; "those type of questions are frowned on around here partner." she give a smile.

  Her eyes light up when she sees Kaarle walking over and her knees nearly give as he brushes up next to her. with a dream like state she replies; "Yes sir, ready to get this mission done and over with. Oh and to get Delta the high Kill count." The last bit add as she gives her a sly smile before sticking her tongue out.

Skyrah listened to her orders, and then nodded once to Cmdr Fell. "Yes ma'am." She said calmly, obviously in thought at was has just transpired. Then at hearing what the mission might be. "Is it because of the mission parameter's that I will not be allowed to pilot Albatros ma'am?" It was obvious, she'd rather not be separated from Albatros, if at all possible, but would accept it for the short term if she had to.

Then she lifted a brow as Kchek renamed her as his XO, even as she was named as Banshee Leader. "Sir, I cannot serve as Banshee One, and your XO. I doubt command would allow, no matter how capable I may seem to do both sir."

Then she looked at the patch again, and after Lt. Cmdr Fell gave her answer to her question Skyrah would nod once. "Yes ma'am." Then would depart the room to the cockpit of Albatros to view the secret message.

With that down, Skyrah then makes her way over to where Banshee squadron has congregated. Pausing at the edge of the group that's still there, she looks at each in turn for a moment.

Severian: "Well phase one went fairly well, I suppose. Are you joining us for phase 2? I can't discuss too much about the kids, but I can certainly listen to what you have to say about them. And I can raise any concerns you may have up the chain of command. I am not sure, however, if we'll have time to discuss this before the second part of this operation begins. I am already being summoned to the next meeting, as you can see."

Cerise turns for a moment to face the bulk of the squads: "Alright, everyone who is coming to the field needs to suit up, gear up and rally at the head of the Apex. Squad leaders, once you have primed the squads we are meeting with Colonel Thatcher."

She turns back to Severian: "Sorry about that, but I needed to get everything in motion. I guess if you are coming, then you should probably form up with Banshee. I probably have a moment if what you want to say can fit within that moment."
