War Games

Thirteen salutes and acknowledges the Sergeant. He looks back at Avarae as she hugs him. "I don't know. It is the only thing I remember being called."

He looks at her in silence for a moment, knowing he had to leave soon. He hugged her back "I don't hate you. Thank you." He did not know how to make others feel better so it came out awkwardly but also in a very genuine way as he really did want to make her feel better.

Re: War Games

Things had been busy for Kaarle, between escorting Michelle as necessary as well as his own duties he was glad to see her punishment finally come to an end.  The routine itself wasn't bad, just the incovenience of having to babysit someone whenever they weren't confined to their quarters meant that he really hadn't had any time to himself lately and he needed small reprieve from everyone, including Michelle.

The morning  of the war gameshe went through everything as he usually did, getting out of bed and getting ready for the day.

He watched as Michelle left to get cleaned up and then he relaxed a bit sitting down on his bunk and thinking about how the war games were going to play out today.  All their training had been going as well as expected but he couldn't help but worry about Michelle's performance.  He trusted her to do her best, but worried that in that effort she might take chances she wouldn't otherwise had considered prior to these last few weeks.  Shaking the thought from his head he reminded himself that she was more then capable of performing her duties and that hopefully these War Games went well for Wraith Squadron.

Getting up head made his way to the showers to get cleaned up.  Once he'd returned he was surprised by Michelle's request for a side arm and then nods.  "Your punishment ended, I see no reason to continue it unnecessarily.  Yes, you get your side arm and any other equipment necessary for the mission just like the others."

Once they were ready he made his way to the flight deck with Michelle maintaining the same professionalism that she was displaying.  He goes through the same motions as the rest of his team getting in his gear, going through flight pre-checks before taking off in his delta.  He responds to Michelle over the radio.

[Language unknown: Hisectstr Ofsimi, iovir iouatiallwas weant ta.] he said waiting for the rest of his team to report in and orders from command.

Re: War Games

The day after the MA trip, after work, Cerise asks Banshee and the shuttle crew to meet up with her at the enlisted lounge. There she buys them a round of drinks; she follows the normal protocol of hanging out just long enough to make an appearance, but no longer, so that they can relax.

Over the course of the 11 days, every few working days (never days off) Cerise asks everyone to gather after dinner for around 10 to 15 minutes. When she does this, she always asks before the day's work begins. Each time she has a different exercise to perform. Sometimes they are mostly physical endeavors (like team-play darts or forming a "human" pyramid), other times they consist mostly of just talking. She always tries to keep them short, and they always require working together or somehow demonstrating trust in your teammates. Sometimes she includes the shuttle crew and other times she does not; they are important to Vulture group, but generally she expects them to not be involved in the main combat, where being close knit is most important.

Evenings, if she so desires, Cerise continues to give Earth (and Tirolian and Zentraedi, if she likes) history lessons to Miriana. The primary focus being on what Cerise suspects Miriana finds most interesting; times of war, but Cerise tries to slip lessons about psychology and human politics in as well.

On the day of the war games, before deploying, Cerise addresses all of the Vulture group: "Now is our chance to show them what we're made of. Let's kick ass and take names. After we're done, win or lose, there's a round of drinks in the enlisted lounge for everyone, on me."

As usual, she goes through all the usual function checks on her silverback before stowing it then begins pre-flight on the Vulture. Once everything is checked and ready, per the skipper, she lets everyone know; [Language unknown: "Evckth to a m m."]

Once her that's all set, Cerise utilizes the command frequency to communicate with Kaarle; [Language unknown: Linthuthe, Ec ousthiles es ad un reari o th icng haoune mawane na hisectlar ul pe werinelin o eenonswhi ivne et ortavelesund n aivir nopama outa fo vorhasouling hi nosa m sechof rat ainundort tr ecthi Artaol el werat t iveng outverart plpo it?]

Re: War Games

Karma had somehow convinced Kaarle that she was ready to get back in the cockpit, even though she still did suffer a bout of occasional nausea she managed not to hurl in the simulator, and was feeling better everyday.  She did need to have gotten out of sick bay, but also needed the extra thirteen days before the War Games began.

She awoke feeling refreshed, albeit a little nervous, jumping in the shower it had been some interesting times rooming with the rather good looking Tirolian, Silas.  Barracks had been co-ed for some time, but her upbringing was a little more old-fashioned with the separation of the sexes.  She was still a little shy around him, even though she really had nothing to be ashamed of herself.  Despite what others might have thought was going on between Michelle and Karma, she was still attracted to men.

She shook her head in the shower to clear her head of those distractions and focused mentally on the mission today, going through what-if scenarios in her head as much as she could.  Dressed in her flight suit she made her way to the hangers where she donned her CVR armor before walking up the her Veritech.

Running her fingers along the fuselage she did her pre-flight inspection and checks before climbing into the cockpit and continuing them.  Not before long she had the bird fired up and ready to go.  The whine of the engines, a welcome sound to a pilot.

@ Everyone

When they first enter the hanger Skyrah stops and looks at her Delta. "...wow. Albatros looks like an Albatros!" She said with an actual, genuine, smile. The sight of it actually made her happy.

Finally she would climb into the cockpit, placing her satchel and flute case to the side. Noticing the picture and rose, she smiled again and felt....warm inside. Warm like she did anytime her father got her something, but this...while similar was very different as well.

She read the note and smiled softly. "I do." She said to herself, then slipped the note and the picture carefully into her satchel. The white rose was secured in the cockpit in a place she could see it.

@ Nick

When asked about a picnic she blushed a bit, then smiled and nodded gently. "I'd like that."

@ Kaarle, Mirage

After she launches she becomes serious. The mission was on, and there was nothing to stop her now. And she already had a plan to succeed. [Language unknown: "Trnapa Earicheen. Wasoveera, pl e m teal, tonde ain der nila."]

She would then communicate to Sue. [Language unknown: "Ame, encthithu li thiou but n but papondchio houundnot forss ateiv atweur, Wh ng neceil p ssfoce i uslat di ntiallore ronde thaessame we hipawa foutwa a redillore ntsti isnesiei'iope."] She was fast, but that was what she was good at. Developing plans, even unorthodox one's on the fly.

Mirage was a little playful in the morning, trying to get a rise out of Skyrah.  But once she leaves their shared room she is all business, and starts actually acting like a Zentradi.

She does her pre-flight checks judiciously, going over everything the ground crew did, like she should, then once in the air maintains discipline.

War Games

During the intermezzo, Miriana was present for all the post-dinner activities Cerise had called and participated in them without a single complaint, though she kept her interaction limited as she continued playing the part of an observer. If asked, she would say she wanted to gather more data before feeling secure enough to give it a try herself.

Every day, she went through her usual routine of taking a morning shower, getting dressed, going through her notes one final time before heading off for breakfast, followed by PT and continue on whatever schedule had been set for the day, her arrivals almost at clockwork precision: Arrive at :02, eat the same food as always, leave at :15, show up at PT seven minutes before it started...

The day of the mission was no different in how predictable her schedule was, up until the mission briefing. Once in the hangars she made her way to the shuttle where her mecha had already been strapped in, and ran a small diagnostic on the shuttle itself out of good habit while waiting for the others to either get settled in the shuttle or prep their mecha according to their launch windows. Once she was done, and the shuttle would soon be cleared to launch, she went over to the crew compartment and strapped herself in there as well, keeping her radio on and running possible scenarios in her mind in preparation for the landing.

Sillia spends most of her free time catching up on sleep and some reading. She had noticed Aravae being a little stand-offish with Thirteen but since they still hung out together for a couple hours a day in the gym she decided to watch and observe what was happening between the two.
she would occasionally make Aravae and Thirteen sit as a group for meals, like a family. Using blackmail if nothing else worked to get her way. She enjoyed her alone time with Xavier as well and made sure he had two hours a night for them.

On the day of the mission she noticed Aravae waiting for Thirteen as well and thought that was something that needed to be discussed at a later time with both of them. Once boarded upon the shuttle she got herself loaded up into her Hunter killer power armor as this was a combat mission and if the shuttle went down she wanted to be ready for anything. And going through a quick systems check with either Sparks or Rizzo.

   She waited patiently once underway.

Korvan and the other Marines of Banshee squad enter the Flight deck and listen intently. Once they were cleared to get ready Korvan was barking orders to everyone not wearing Bars or stars on the uniforms.

For the (npcs) they are quick to get ready for combat. no one hesitated and no one needed to be told twice. despite a beta sitting in the hanger with them.

Angel squad boarded and waited in their mecha without word. They listened in on all the radio chatter as they did not offering an opinion or asking any questions.

The wildcard boarded and Sgt. Franklin had them in cyclones in battloid mode. each waiting for the doors to open and the combat drop to happen. Franklin listen to Korvans orders and worked his team around Banshee.
