@ cerise - Aravae stares wide eyed as Cerise addressed her directly.  "Im sorry for staring. I just never met one of your kind. May i touch your hand?"


 @ Thirteen- As you listen to Cerise's speach about having fun, Aravae leans over, "this is so exciting,  we get to leave the ship and go to the mall and go shopping. You need some new cloths. Ill help you if you like."


@ skyrah , Mirage and silas, kaarle michelle - The younger sister of Sillia introduces herself. Hi, im Aravae,  its a pleasure to meet you offically. This is Thirteen if you have not met him. He's shy but he's a great friend."

Mirage grins at Aravae.  "Nice to meet you Aravae, I'm Mirage Fallyna."

She nods to Thirteen  "Good to see you again, Thirteen."

@ Aravae "Of course! My species is unusual amongst the various Sentinel races, I suppose; most species are made of flesh and blood, while we are composed of energy coalesced into a crystalline structure. There's even more that is unusual about us as well, if your curious to learn." Cerise smiles and holds out her hand, so that Aravae can touch it.

  @ Cerise - With your hand held out for her to touch, She tentatively touches you then softly strokes your hand several times. You are suddenly filled with thoughts of happiness and you feel a slight boost of energy. "your hand is so smooth." She says with the innocence of youth. She pulls her hand back when she notice Sillia giving her a look. "Thank you" She says politely.

  @ Thirteen As the Beta begins to vibrate in preperation, Aravae grabs your hand wide eyed looking around at everything.

Cerise continues to smile; "You're welcome. I'm happy to answer any questions you ever have about my species, as I would for any of my team. The only difference is you are young enough and not indoctrinated into military culture enough, that you don't think it is awkward to ask, and I agree; it is not awkward." She then leans in close and whispers; "In fact, did you know that I am even younger than you are?" She then returns to her normal posture and winks.

"I am not sure why I would need new clothing." Thirteen said with honest confusion to Avarae. "The military provides what I need for any mission."

He watched her talk to the others but he returns the nod to Mirage. "Good to see you as well." It was odd to say that to someone who he did not remember. "I hope that one day we could talk about your prior experiences. Perhaps it could help heal the damage I have to my memories."

Mirage slowly nods to Thirteen "Sure buddy, if I can help I will."

Skyrah will wake up at the appropriate time for PT, being her usual self she will not show emotion or demonstrate the effects of any hangover even if she is suffering from one. It's just, who she is.

When Kaarl give his speak Skyrah will stand silently in her position. Inwardly she would smile though, even if no one saw it, he was taking responsibility for his actions which in her mind showed a drastic change in him. When he was done, she stepped forward. "Everyone, the things Lieutenant Cherkovski said about myself and Lieutenant Grey cannot leave this group. The mere act of him even saying what he did in public could get the three of us in trouble. I did not say anything against him saying it, because I trust all of you." With that, she then backed back into formation and nodded once to Kaarl.

When dismissed from formation she would go to her room, shower and change into a clean uniform as she did not own any civilian clothing. She did not see a need for them.

So she showed up for the formation to head over to the Marcus Antonius in her uniform. She would listen to Cerise's spele of what is supposed to go on on the trip. She did not say anything, and remained her emotionless self. Her large shoulder satchel that she always carries with her at her side, with the long wooden box strapped to it. She looked at each of the other a moment, then stood there, waiting.

Skyrah would look Aravae over a minute as she introduced herself. "Hello Aravae. I am Skyrah. I know Thirteen, I, guess you could say I saved his life on the planet where we joined this group." There was obviously something to that story, the wording she used, even in that usual flat tone she uses, said that.

After all that, Skyrah remains quite, cold, calculating. Her usual self again after the event's of the previous night.

@ Skyrah  Mirage will let Skyrah shower first, but when she sees her getting into uniform she tries to waylay her.

"Hey now Roomie, how about I loan you some of my clothes and I will help pick you out something to wear when we hit the shops.  You are going to ruin the mood if you go in that stuff, bad for morale."

She sizes her up and gets stuff out of her drawers, holding them up.. hmmming.

"Ok.. these shorts... these sandals, and this shirt that is tight on me should be loose on you."

Mirage is surprisingly intent on dressing the cold woman.

"What? Why? I saw no reason to buy civilian clothing." She grumbles begrudgingly. She looked at the tactical situation, and realized that this would be a losing battle for her. She grumbled the entire time, begrudgingly as she did in fact change into the clothes that Mirage offered.

Xavier finishes P.T without a hiccup, he goes back to his and Sillias quarters, takes a shower changes into a bright green flowered shirt, and some white shorts.  thinking he looks amazing he heads to the flight deck to get on the shuttle to the MA. he finds Sillia, Hey Kitten he whispers in her ear from behind her how do I look?

 @ Xavier - Sillia leans back into Xavier. "You always look good my Sexy man" she replies to Xavier.

When Miriana's alarm went off, she had no trouble to get up for a change, though that would in a large part have been due to heading to her bunk early the night before. As a result of being well rested, her marks in PT had markedly improved compared to the previous day, and were even a little above her personal average. Having missed dinner though, she took a little longer to have breakfast due to needing twice as much of it. Being in Banshee she had not been present for Kchek's meeting, this meant she had plenty of time to spare for getting in a second helping of food and change into what appeared to be something fit for leisure.

When she entered the beta, she had ultimately decided on a white shirt, with black cargo pants, a black leather jacket and the combat boots that were part of her regular uniform. She was also wearing a large wide-rimmed hat which didn't quite suit the rest of her outfit, but she seemed unaware of this herself. When Cerise mentioned the mission objectives, she frowned.

- "...So our objective is to 'have fun' and 'make friends'? Do you have a set of planned tactics for this?"

She wasn't making fun of the plan or being sarcastic, her voice and tone showed that she was being perfectly serious.

Karma was more than happy to finally get the ok to leave.  She kept the sweat suit they had given her since her flight suit was too torn up to wear.  She still felt a little queasy, but that wasn't going to stop her from getting out of the sick bay.  She could at least sleep in her own quarters, even if they were just as spartan.  Stopping by the nurses station she thanked them with genuine warm smiles and handshakes all around.  She would still have to report for physical therapy, but again was elated to be out of the sick bay.  She wanted to throw up at one point, but held it in so the nurses would not make her go back to the sick bay room.

Making her way to her own quarters, she found the head and threw up in the stainless steel bowl.

  @ Karma - you have the lower bunk. your Bunk mate and new wingman is Silas Nightshade and has set up his gear. on his bunk. you will find your stuff in two boxes sealed and with your military information on the top.

After she got cleaned up a bit she made her way to her newly assigned bunk.  She had gotten the word in sick bay, and it wasn't hard to find.  She did, however, wonder where everyone was at at the moment.  Although she was thankful no one saw her puke for the nth time.

With a sigh she pulled her boxes over to her bunk and sat down to go through them.  She fished around for a knife to break the seals.

Once back on board the gambit he got word of Karma's release. He wasted little time escorting Michelle to Karma'so room.   He stayed tight lipped about it hoping to her surprise her.

"Have to stop and take care of something before we go back to our room" he said vaguely add he knocked on the door of the quarters

  Despite the risk Kaarle took with bringing her to see Karma once she Michelle was excited to see her friend.

  Running over to give her a hug; "I missed you so much. How are you doing?"

Upon arriving back on the Gambit, Cerise heads straight for her quarters, since she'd agreed to meet Miriana there. Once Miriana arrives, she invites her in; "Come in Lt Thakun. What did you want to discuss?"

Kaarle wasnt to concerned about the visit.   This was a semi official visit since he wanted to meet with karma to make sure she was ready to resume her duties.

He stood there silently watching them hug it out.

Upon their return to the Gambit, Miriana headed for Cerise's quarters after a brief detour to her own in order to get changed. Given the bunk layouts that placed Wraith and Banshee squadron close together, it would only take a few minutes. Once invited in, she would follow in and stand at attention.

- "Sir, would you explain to me again the purpose of this exercise? Yes, to have fun, but how would you define that?"

Seeing Miriana standing at attention, Cerise figures that Miriana wants to stand on formality, for some reason; "At ease, Lt. As for fun; fun is the enjoyment of pleasure, particularly in leisure activities. The purpose of the group trip to the Marcus was simply to build espirit de corps. The stated objectives were to have fun and to team build. Those were the stated objectives primarily to force the more duty oriented members of the group to focus on something other than pure military life; tactics, efficiency, duty and violence.

I'd say it work pretty well with many of the members of the unit, though it seems to have inspired some ire amongst you, Sgt Korvan, and Severian. I can't say that I'm totally surprised about you or Sgt Korvan; you both hold quite classically Zentraedi attitudes towards service. I am a bit surprised about Severian, but it could simply be that he had something else on his agenda and did not want to be distracted by leisure; I'm not totally certain."

- "Yes, it's... I have spent the better part of a day watching people choose which dress to wear, or what kind of pretty rock would go best with their eyes. Then we visited a school that taught dancing as nothing but a sheer pastime and ate something that in no way would be considered nutritiously balanced."

Miriana gestured somewhat with her hands, trying to get a grasp on the correct way to phrase her opinion, though she did stand at ease when Cerise had told her so.

- "I was born in the vats, on board a military vessel. I can accurately say that every fiber of my being recoiled in disgust at what i've witnessed today, and if it were physically possible the sight alone would have made my eyes cry tears of blood."

More gesturing followed, and she began pacing up and down.

- "And all this time, i could not understand why it was not better to simply do a group exercise in the simulators. How in the name of the Universe would it help the squadron's combat efficiency to know what Thirteen looks like in a leather jacket? Or perhaps we could try and belly dance the enemy to death? Hey, if it works once, right?"

She stopped then, closing her eyes and taking a couple of deep breaths to calm herself down before her rant would end up a tirade.

- "...Apologies Sir, I was out of line."

Cerise answers calmly, trying to relate to you the fundamentals of xeno-psychology that drive her enforced recreation; "It is ironic that you mention utilizing an artistic performance to defeat an enemy, given that that is, effectively, exactly what the Earthlings used to defeat the Zentraedi.

The reason it is good to get to know your teammates personalities outside of the military structure is because the military structure forces most species to hide their true selves. If you are only dealing with someone on a purely professional level, then you will never know what they will do when instinct takes over and you will never know how to, in military terms, increase their individual morale. Today we found out that Lt Grey admires dance, that virtually everyone enjoys pizza, that, despite not being physically the strongest, Lt Cherkovski is driven to pull more than his own weight in a literal sense, that Sgt Xavier and PFC Sillia's relationship has maintained the playful honeymoon stage, despite distance and duty constantly fighting it, and many more tidbits. None of that would have been possible in a simulator.

If our entire unit were made entirely of Zentraedi, what you are suggesting may make sense. Though, even then it may need to be entirely composed of a single gender, given the divide between males and females. But, our unit is not entirely composed of Zentraedi. In fact, it is just about diverse xenologically, as is possible. Of all of those species, only the Zentraedi is a purely military race."

Cerise pauses for a moment, then adds; "Since you brought it up, you may also find it interesting that, while the soft drinks served with the pizza are devoid of any nutritional value, the pizza itself is actually fairly balanced and rather nutritious. At the very least it meets several of the basic food groupings as codified by early Earth governments as guidelines towards attaining healthy nutrition."

Karma was poking through her things, rather unenthusiastically, when she heard a knock on the door.  Glancing up, the door opened as it was unlocked.  She started to stand, and burst into tears once she saw Michelle poke her head in.  "Oh my god!" Hopping over her own boxes she takes the two short steps to meet with Michelle in an embrace.
