Hey all, having some comp trouble that's expected to last for a couple more weeks. I do have Internet, but no access to anything stored on my comp for obvious reasons.

Update:

Comp's still being worked on, they can't find what it is but i'm just happy they managed to at least find that there was a problem rather than have it just overstressing my fans again.

They think it's something on the motherboard now.

Motherboard replacement time, then? Well, could be worse, unless you have one of those $2000 motherboards.

Hope you can use some sort of warranty on the motherboard.

Nah, the entire thing cost less than that.

But yeah, its been custom built so here's to hoping most of the parts can carry over. It's a good machine overall, just had the heat regulation problems.

How's the computer build effort going?

New one should be arriving this weekend actually, with most of my programs intact. So, there's a little ray of positivity shining in :P

Have to tell you, i'll be glad to finally sit down behind a desktop again. Laptop's been doing great work, but it's really gotten to the point where it's taking considerable effort just to go online since every browser has like 20 processes totaling 2 gigs of RAM to even run these days.

Mostly yes. I still have some issues in places that kinda scare me though.

   I agree. I would be more upset if I had not kept most of it backed up here and on my own computer. but still, it sucked.

  as for not showing up, we have not been active and that is all my fault. I have been busy working, working on my sailboat and other life activities have kept me from doing most stuff. and I have started writing my two novels I have been working on for the last decade.

Yea silas/Merlin's player has been harping on me about the game.

  Constantly telling me to set time aside to do it.

It would take me a minute to get back into it. I know Skyrah was in charge of the...Infantry squad? Beyond that I do not remember where she was or what she was doing. :(

I'm betting it would take everyone a few minutes to catch up.
