  As you each move into combat, your combat computer switch off and The commanders voice/image appears in your mecha's communication. Attention vulture Teams your to report to these coordinates x, y, z, right now. Vulture shuttle is to land at these coordinates X1, Y1, z1 and get ready for a long range mission.

  Sgt. Swift looks over to Lt. Thakun, Ma'am we can be there in ten minutes. Once the order is given he begins landing operations next to the Commanders GMU. once Landed a team runs out and begins to load supplies for a month. They load Skyrah's delta fighter in Battloid mode.


  Wraith Squadron is cleared to land next to the vulture just five minutes after its lands. once landed they are instructed to make their way back to vultures cargo pods where each of the wing-mate teams are loaded.

 Banshee is quick to get back to the beta, where Michelle and Aang re-link the alpha beta and get the silverback reattached. before taking Banshee back to the vulture. When they land they can see Wraith Squadrons veritechs being reloaded into the vultures cargo pods. Once Korvan and Xavier are there they are loaded up with Skyrah's Delta fighter which is in battloid mode.

  Once each of you have disembarked your mecha or transport for those in the Beta are instructed to move to the GMU mecha hanger.

  Once you make your way up the ramp you notices chairs in six rows of ten. A white board with numbers written on it. Your each instructed to take a seat and await. The shuttle crew along with all non player character in the group take seats scattered throughout the six rows.

  The hanger is filled with a whooshing noise as the bay is filled with fresh air. A lieutenant enters followed by Ltcmdr Fell which walk in front of the white board. She looks at you for a moment before speaking. "This is a course classified and there for not to be discussed with those outside this bay. An hour ago we received a distress signal from a planet called Janus by two different forces. A Tirolian message requesting evacuation and a Zentraedi garrison requesting reinforcements to continue their fight with the Invid. But the problem we have and the reason you are being sent instead of the fleet, is this planet was a relay from the Disciple of Zor ship your team discovered. And we want to make sure it is not a trap. You will have to fold twice to make the distance and will take ten days of travel. You will depart within the hour once your ship is fully supplied and fueled. Once in orbit, Lt. Grey will dock with the Vulture with her Alpha and Beta before you make you first jump." Her gaze and expression is a serious one. "If this is a trap use whatever means to escape and prevent them from following you. If this turns out to be a real transmission for aid, then evaluate the situation and contact the fleet. We will begin operations to load the fleet just in case. But know reinforcements are ten days away and you will have to hold off till we arrive. Questions?"

  Landing her Veritech, with the others members of Wraith Squadron. She waited till Karma was finished loading her Veritech in Guardian mode before she disembarked wishing Aang good luck as he was redirected to a waiting silverback before mading her way over to her best friend.
 Her eyes keep drifting over towards Kaarle as she chats away with Karma until Ltcmdr Fell appears where she becomes serious and listens.

Ltcmdr Fell looks over to the Team leader and thought she was the perfect choice for her position.
  "This should be considered a first contact mission, recon the situation, establish first contact with the inhabitants. If they truly need assistance use your judgement on what needs to be done.  If this is a trap use whatever force nessary to keep everyone in your team alive and safe." She gives Kaarle a quick glance letting him know she wants everyone home. "As I have said you are alone out there and ten days from any attempted recuse. And Command will evaluate the situation and risk factors before they decide to send rescue. So use your best judgement."

  She then turns her attention to Skyrah; "Lt Valentine, Sgt Korvan was gonna be reassigned after the wargames Leaving you to choose a new Exo for your team. however since you have not had time to evaluate your team (GM Note: Thirteen or Xavier) to choose who you would like that position. The Commander will allow Korvan to accompany you as your Exo for this mission."

Kaarle settled in with the rest of his team for the debriefing.  He gave smile and a wink to Michelle when thier eyes met but otherwise it was business as usual.

As Fell carried on about the mission he couldn't help but feel a sense of dread that once again they at probably being sent into a trap.

Skyrah watched as they loaded Albatrous onto the shuttles pod, and realized this was serious if they were going to send her with her Veritech. She would then move towards the metting area and take her seat, listening to the briefing with her full attention. "Yes ma'am." She said with a simple nod, understand the situation with Korvan. "Ma'am, I assume that I am going to be back in Mjolnir for this, based on him being loaded up, but also assume that do to my position that I will need to remain in Battloid or Guardian mode. Is this assumption correct?"

And if she is killed Kaarle will assume mission command. So Cerise will need to decide how to handle this overall mission. That said you are not required by command to remain in battloid mode. Infact your ability to get a bird eyes view may aid your squad. But you should plan on staying with your squadron and leaving Wraith Squadron to their Squadron." She gives each commanding officer a look as she says that less bit.

Kaarle nods to the Lt. Fell "understood" he said flatly.  He still wasn't keen on the fact he lost hist tactician, but it couldn't be helped.  She would continue to progress in her career,  at a far greater pace then her, and that didn't bother him.  It was by chance he was in the position he was just under Cerise and nothing more.  He had more pressing matters... figuring out how to keep his Squadron alive once the trap had been sprung on them.

Severian listened intently to what this new mission was about - the Disciples of Zor.

He knew some information, mostly conjecture. He knew that they were a splinter faction of the Masters and branded enemies and traitors by them...If indeed this was them, they may be a potential ally.

He made preparations to ready his Air Skimmer and his newly enchanted CVR-1 Armor, eager to see if the Disciples of Zor were fact or fiction.

Skyrah nodded once at what Lt. Cmdr. Fell had said. "Yes Ma'am. I have no desire to impede on Kchek or his squadron. I will allow them to do their job, and I will use Albatros to his full ability to see to the well being and leadership of Banshee."

Cocky, Silas walked into the room, and pick a random seat near the door up against the wall, he leaned back and pretended not to listen, he really wanted to see how far he could push buttons. Silas, made an outburst...

 Ma'am would it be alright if I sit this one out?

He said it in a very sarcastic tone of voice, but with a stone cold face of seriousness.
He didnt wait for an answer, he began humming a tune that nobody recognized, as well as rocking back and forth in his chair, seeming as if he were a mere child.

As Silas his making his second Remark Commander Rockatansky Steps up behind him kicking the seat out from under him. "If you ever show the Lieutenant Commander disrespect again, I'll ground the entire squadron and I'll lock you in a cell and forget you ever existed. Do I make myself clear Lieutenant." He gives Kaarle a very displeased look as he continues to walk forward to stand beside Ltcmdr Fell.

  He looks directly to Korvan; "Master Sargent Eshta please step forward."

  Once Korvan is standing in front of you notice how massive the micronized zentraedi really is. Standing a good seven inches taller then the commander. His facial expression his normal serious look as he always appears to be on duty.

  The Commander hands him a box as he speaks; "Master Sargent, your years of loyal service to the United Earth Defense and Expeditionary Force as an outstanding marine cannot be rewarded by a means truly deserving. However with the completion of your officer training program you are here by promoted to Marine Second Lieutenant. when you return from this mission you will be given your own squadron." With that they shake hands. And Korvan gives a rare smile as he thanks the Commander.

  The Commander looks at you as a group. You are dismissed. Lt. Cherkovski and Grey I'd like a word with you too.

  He talks to Kaarle first having Lt. Grey stand off to the side. "I will let you deal with Lt. Nightshade as you see fit. Make sure this never happens again." He dismisses Kaarle after he is done.

  He talks to Michelle for several minutes before giving her a quick hug and sending her on her way.

Kaarle was visibly pissed off at Silas nonsense.  More so then that he was embarassed over the situation and how it unfolded in front of the Commander.  Needless to say he was please to see the quick response from Rockantansky.

When the meeting had concluded and he had been dismissed he found himself in a position he was not thrilled with.  How in the hell to deal with his newest member.  Violence was off the table since that didn't go over well that last time.  Clearly corporal punishment didn't seem to work either.

There wasn't much he could do except push him out the nearest airlock and see how long he could his breath.

As pondered this dilemma he watched the encounter between Michelle and the Commander somewhat jealous that they hadn't much time for each other recently.

  Ltcmdr. Fell was about to say something to Silas when she notice the Commander enter the hanger and kick his chair out from under him. She clapped when Korvan finally got his promotion to second Lieutenant.

  When the Commander dismiss the Three units and pulled Kaarle and Michelle for a quick word, she called Cerise over. "Lieutenant Cerise, I have sent mission directive to you. So you can study them before lift off. have any questions feel free to ask. Your shuttle will be giving a hundred and twenty missile and sixty mini missile for mecha reloads. Kariza will handle will get an inventory to hand to Lt. Thakun and yourself shortly."

  She takes a moment to glance over to the commader and Kaarle. "It will be a long mission. Take care out there and get your people home safe."

As soon as Silas made his outburst, followed by the singing, Cerise began searching her memories to see if she could remember any notable instances of similar behavior amongst Tirolians, considering Silas' possible state of mind given the situation.

Cerise salutes; "Thank you ma'am. And I must apologize for the behavior of the Lieutenant. I will leave the disciplinary decisions to Lt. Cherkovski for now, since he is the direct CO, but I will be having a talk with Lt Nightshade myself. If possible it may be beneficial to be able to see his detailed prior record, to determine if this acting out is something new, or if he exhibited such behavior prior to assignment to Wraith."


Not sure if she has enough information yet to figure out WTH is wrong with Silas, but both were successful. :)

Kaarle nodded to Ltcmdr. Fell as he stepped over to Silas.  "I will do my best to ensure all of them make it back in one piece" he said to her before looking down and helping the Lieutenant off the floor forcefully before adding... "more or less" he concluded.

Silas was bound and determined to eat up all his spare time it seemed and he still wasn't sure how to handle this.

Skyrah remained emotionless at Silas behavior on entering the meeting, without permission, and his actions there in. Still inwardly she frowned, not wanting to show her true disgust at what was being displayed.

She to would offer a clap when Korvan promotion was announced, and then gave a gentle sigh. She'd have to make a choice soon, who would be her new XO. She really only had two choices, as the third option in her mind already demonstrated an inability to listen, in her mind. The second option was 'broken' and needed her protection. So really, the only option left was the first option. She'd have to see him in action though, to wage final judgement.

The Commander dismissing them finally broke her from her reverie as she looked up. She would stand up, picking up her satchel and quickly walk out of the tent, stepping to one side and wait for Korvan to exit.

   Silla claps for the Newest officer when he is given the honors. but otherwise remains silent during the briefing, knowing she would get her briefing with the rest of Banshee.

  When she is dismissed she grabs Xaviers hand and give it a squeeze. "Come on Sargent we need to get ready for take off." She says giving him a sexy smile as she gets up.

  She looks at Thirteen, "Come on Sarge, lets get going. we need to get ready for the next mission."

  With that she makes her way to the shuttle after re-suiting up. Once in shuttle she secures the power armor and weapons.

Xavier walks into the briefing room finds and sits next to Silla. Listens intently to all that goes on, gives a clap or two when korvan is promoted, gives a barely heard giggle when Silas was kicked out of his chair.

With pleasure my kitten he says to her after the briefing. And walks out with Silla.

Turning once more to Silas be shakes his head before being led off by Michelle back to the vulture.

Mirage looks away from the tablet and shrugs, moving over to where Silas Nightshade is tipping around in his chair.

"Lieutenant Nightshade.  Attention to orders."

She waits a moment or two for his attention, hopefully at the position of attention, but she won't wait on dawdling.

"In lieu of official NJP you are being assigned punishment duty to keep constant inventory, readiness and security upon the missile munitions aboard.  You will gather your gear, 3 days rations of MREs and report directly to that station until relieved.  Leaving your post for anything will be considered disobedience of the First General Order, and will bring at least NJP in form of Captain's Mast.  As always, you are welcome to a trial instead."

She takes a moment.

"NOW Lieutenant!"

  Some reference material:
NJP - Non Judicial Punishment, it means your superior writes it up and hands it out, does not have to go on your permanent record.
Captain's Mast - Highest form of Naval NJP
First General Order - I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved.
Trial - Her reference to Trial is better known as a Court Martial, it is always an option, and a very stupid career ending one if all you were getting is a slap on the hand NJP.

  Michelle Takes Kaarle's hand as she walks with him to the shuttle. She pauses to look at the mass supplies being loaded onto their home for the mission. She side steps closer before saying;  Once she gets Kaarle to the Shuttle she makes her way back to hre Alpha and Beta going through her      per-flight and weapons load out. She makes a note that the beta had been switch out with a combat unit. flipping the switch for her radio;

  The shuttle is finally loaded as your teams board, the munitions officer hands Kariza a data pad with the missiles and supplies to turn in to Vulture command. She smiles thanks hims before double checking the data and signing for it. Once that task was finished she sends the missile load-out to Cerise and Miriana before beginning to double checking to mecha's strapped down in the cargo pods with Matt's help. Onces they feel everything is secured she calls to the Bridge. "Specialist Yasan to bridge, We are secured here and ready for dust off."

  As Xavier, Thirteen and Sillia board the shuttle a over excited Aravae runs up and gives Thirteen a hug. "Hey, I get to go with you guys!" she cowers behind Thirteen as she realizes Sillia's unpleasant expression.

  Cerise takes her place on the bridge with the remaining crew members. Once all the per-flight checks are done they are given clearance from command to take off.

 Miriana goes through her pre-flight engineering check with Kariza who keeps her enthusiastic energy in check just enough to prevent the young officer from getting angry.

  The rest of the team members are given the orders to strap themselves in and get ready for flight.
  Aravae stays away from Sillia as best she can trying to avoid the yelling her older sister is sending her way.

  The Vulture lifts off and makes it way to designated coordinates to commence fold operations. Batgirl escorts the Vulture to the fold coordinates before she docks her Alpha beta units to the Vultures underside.

  the first week is boring for everyone. The Vulture defolds and begins systems check before folding for the second time. the next seventy two hours has everyone double checking everything, missile loads and E-clips. CVR armor and mecha. And when the Vulture defolded for the second time behind a moon the crew jumps into action.


these are the spare missile for the mission.

  Sillia was joking and having fun after the meeting, But once she is aboard the Vulture and finds her little sister hugging Thirteen, her attitude changes instantly.

  Glaring at Aravae; "What are you doing here? your suppose to be on the Gambit!" the response of the Commander giving her clearance to be on the mission did not make her lighten up. "You get your stuff right now young-ling! your not going to be on this mission or any other mission!"


   She storms off to the bridge with Aravae's refusing while staying safely on the opposite side of Thirteen using him as a shield from Sillia's Rage. Once on the Bridge her anger is quick and loud "CERISE, WHY IS ARAVAE ON THIS SHIP!" Nothing said makes her happy and it is apparent she is not satisfied with any of the out comes. but not wanting to be removed from the mission she settles on making sure her sister is safe.

  She continues berating Aravae for sneaking her way on the ship so she could be with Thirteen. She spends the time watching over her sister but not really engaging her after the first couple days.

Cerise, in her usual serene, "psychologist" voice, replies to Sillia as best she can; "My apologies, Sillia. I had wrongly assumed that the Commander had discussed it with you prior to approving her presence on this mission. Unfortunately it is entirely out of my hands, as the orders to bring her along came from up the chain of command. If you like I can request an open channel with the Commander so you can speak to him, however, as you know I can make no guarantees that he will answer."

With Silia still in a rage over the perceived usurpation of her guardian authority, Cerise continues about her bridge duties, requesting the channel, if Sillia wants to try it.

Thirteen is taken aback when he sees Avarae show up. He hugs her back, honestly glad to see her, but he was surprised to see her there. He would get in contact with Xavier privately.

"Please talk to Sillia about this." He would tell him. "I think there might be something more to this but we cannot discuss it until she calms down."

For his part he would stay close to Avarae and help her as much as he can in his usual socially awkward self. He knew that Sillia's anger would be tough on her.

Kaarle follows Michelle his head still spinning from the debriefing.  He smiled as she pull him to the side to look at the supplies before responding.


As they continue he gets back to the shuttle and everything stored away he straps in with the rest of the crew for take off.  As time passes during their trip Kaarle finds himself once again checking the equipment on his delta, going over his supplies and memorizing the details of the mission.

  Michelle kept her eyes out and took her position to the right of Vulture tail. Once they reach the designated coordinates she eases Robin under Vultures belly before opening her radios; "Batgirl to Vulture, ready to dock on your mark." Once she is given the alls clear she guides her mecha to the docking clamps and awaits hard seal before opening her cockpit. Once she is free to she exits the alpha's cockpit and makes her way into the shuttle. She finds Kaarle and Salutes; "Batgirl request permission to come aboard sir." She gives a smile and once granted permission she removes her CVR armor and begins doing whatever task is assigned to her.

  During her sleep rotation she slips in to Kaales bunks and cuddles into him. during the days she sets to work on the task at hand.  She enjoyed meal breaks with the others the most, when everyone was together. She invited Aravae and practice their belly dancing together in the cargo pods when they had nothing better to do.  With an open invitation to anyone else who would like to participate. Also practicing her martial arts forms when time allows, she goes through a daily rigorous training routine.

  She would try and find some time to sit and chat with Kaarle whenever they could. Even if only to drink something while chatting about nothing.

The first day, when Skyrah see's the note she manages to smile brightly. Sitting in her cockpit for a long long moment looking at it, and admiring it for several long moments before finally placing it away in her satchel with the other note Nick had left her. The she did something rare for her, she displayed emotion. Sure, she has before, but it's so rare for her. This time though, she showed everyone how she truly displayed her emotions as she pulled her glass flute from it's case, and began to play it. This time though the melody was different, it was not one of sadness like she had played in the past, but a melody that sounded more hopeful, more upbeat. She didn't care if everyone could hear her, she knew on this shuttle that they'd figure out who it was playing anyway. She seemed to want them all to know, something had her spirits up for once, and she was willing to share in the best way she knew how.

After a couple days she will eventually seek out Korvan. "Are you free?" She asked him, in her usual tone.

Kaarle couldn't sleep at all those first few nights.  His worry over the team and the new mission had gotten the better of him.  He knew deep down it was most likely another trap and even if it wasn't the ominous warning to get everyone back alive was loud and clear.  Command wouldn't say it but we'd  become the expendables.  They couldn't just disband the unit and admit failure but they weren't about to make it easy on us either.  Ever since the incident with Michelle he knew they were all on borrowed time...

Restless he got up from his bunk trying to be careful not to wake the others and made his way to the hangars.

Cerise would spend most of her time on the bridge, manning her station. When the bridge was otherwise empty, she'd take the opportunity to turn all the lights to max and turn on her 'feeding' light.

Much of the time she would be practicing her Tirolian and Zentraedi; she may need them to communicate will with the people she'd be trying to make contact with. She also read up on her Invid and Masters history, just so she could be as prepared as possible for whatever she may encounter.

  Skyrah; you find Korvan and he smiles down at you, "How can I help you Ma'am?"


Cerise, the pilot and co-pilot rotate shifts so there is always one of them with you on the bridge. but when you turn on your uv light, they just put sunglasses on and go about their duties.

  most of the marines and those who are not busy, plays simple games and work to kill time. most days they work out under Korvan's daily calisthenics, eat and do some basic combat drills.

Yes thirteen, I will talk to sillia, once she becomes a little less agitated by the situation, but dont expect it to be fast. I too agree that there is something amiss with the whole situation, but it will have to wait.

Going about his daily tasks and duties Xavier speaks very little about her little sister to anyone. Once he is able to get some alone time with Sillia he does broach the subject, but never fully says what has been on my mind. He simply testing the waters to see how her reaction to the whole situation of having her little sister on the mission.

Kitten, we need to talk about your sister. He eventually says.

Once his duties are given to him. He says Yes, ma'am  to acknowledge that orders had been given. He saluted her, then proceded to preform said duties as soon as he was done checking over everything and making sure that everything was ready to go, he hummed to himswlf, checking a list making it twice, gonna find out whos here or not.. to a tune he vagley knows from the old days.


Silas finds himself esily bored and sleeps when ever hes not doing his duties or check lists.

Severian pours over what little notes there are concerning the Disciples - however it was very little.

They formed shortly before the Masters rendered Optera unlivable to the Invid and for sending his Battlefortress into space to keep the Masters from acquiring it until it eventually crashed on Earth. He had reports of these Disciples and their loyal Zentraedi attacking Tyrol at one point but were repulsed when Zentraedi Loyal to the Masters arrived. Some reporst claim they were completely destroyed but others claim they survived and hid from the Masters.

Whatever the case may be, he looked forward to seeing the rumors proved true - unless this was an elaborate trap of some sort.

  Despite her anger she keeps a close eye on both Aravae and Thirteen. Xavier suttle hints not going unnoticed she just choose to ignore them till he finally just asked out right. "You want to know whats wrong? Ill tell you. I agreed to let Aravae help the commander to help Thirteen. Not to be part of his little pys-ops team. And here she is in combat gear and if you have notice her armor has a psy-ops insignia on it!"

   Her expression is one of pure anger. "I will not allow Aravae to be used by the military war machine. Do you understand me." Her finger was pointed at Xaviers chest without her even realizing it.

  Cerise as you practice your Zentraedi and Tirolian one of the bridge crew reminds you that there are Zentraedi and a Tirolian on board and they might help you practice.

  Your able to research the documents that the fleet have on the DOZ.

  Severian your able to research the DOZ data base as well with no issues.


  Miriana, you spend most of the time in the engine room, there is always something to tinker on. but you have enough spare time to complete your first probe. (from the first mission) it is ready to for its maiden flight.

  Thirteen You find Aravae letting you rest when you want it. but does go off with Michelle and practice her belly dancing and some martial arts training. though she makes you teach her as per your deal. When you crawl into your bunk she cuddles up with you. You feel the warmth wash over you as you rest.

  Silas, your boredom is repetitive, but as you continuously recount the missiles, you find Specialist Kariza dancing about listening to music. She is constantly checking and rechecking your mecha's sitting in the cargo pods. She says hi and chats with you here and there through out the days.

  Skyrah you flute playing is heard and someone switched on the PA system and it is heard throughout the shuttle.

  As the shuttle positions itself to look at the planet when two Radio Transmissions are picked up. They are repeated every hour. both come from different locations on the planet.

 The Tirolian:

  The planet does not spin. And only the orbit around the sun changes the light and darkness. Leaving one side  in complete darkness for roughly six months. the large bodies of water are giant lakes. the planet looks like it has been hit with orbital bombardment for years. There is one city that is about to enter the darkness. (this is the orgin of the Tirolian message.)

Cerise translates and relays the message to the bridge crew. She goes on internal comms: "Everyone on alert status; Severian, please report to the bridge." Then she calls down to Miriana; "We got a couple of what appear to be automated distress calls from the surface; one from Tirolians and one from Zentraedi. I'll relay the translated text down to you. I don't suppose you ever got around to making one of those decoy communications drones, did you? It should would help to have our signal come from somewhere we aren't right about now." As she waits for Miriana's reply, she relays her translation to Miriana: Tirolean: "Colony Ku'Urtz to Tirol, we are being over run. We are falling back to the capital and spaceport. Please send reinforcements." Zentraedi: "Warlord Volrum to Fleet Command; Ku'Urtz garrison is gone our Cruiser has been damaged. Requesting reinforcements, we cannot protect the colony much longer."

Cerise replies to Miriana: "The message makes it seem that way, and yet the same message has repeated after every hour as we have approached the planet. Maybe it is some nuance I am missing in the inflections or something?" Cerise plays the message back over the internal comms to Miriana. "Was my translation incorrect?

At any rate, I believe my plan will be to try to make contact with the Tirolians first; they are less likely to shoot first and ask questions later, assuming, of course, that this is not a trap.

Since you've completed one of the communication relay drones, we'll send it out and use a laser signal to communicate with it, so that our attempt to contact the Tirolians will appear to be coming from its location, rather than ours."


Cerise gives the order to launch the drone into geostationary orbit in a location with LOS with both the Tirolian and Zentraedi locations. Then she orders the Vulture to take up a geostationary orbit with LOS to the drone, but as far away from it as possible. She then attempts to establish communications with the drone.

So that is a somewhat close failure. Do I need to change the circumstances to retry, or does it just take more time to try to get the uplink going?

  Mirage,when you pull out your guitar, Gerelt pulls out his electric keyboard and plays along with you. The sound is suburb.

  A week more will pass before your final defold.


  Group:
  The bridge crew jumps into action once a discion is made to enter orbit. The normal teasing fun crew switches into a serious mod. The pilot, Sgt Swift is calling out to the nav station making sure there is nothing that might run into the Vulture while in orbit. Making sure the Vulture cloak is fully working.
  As the communication probe is launched into orbit, everyone on the bridge is quite, listening to the transmission being sent. the second and then minutes pass before the probe sends back a response.

  An excited voice comes over the radio in Tirolian; ] The transmission repeats several more times.

Kaarle and Michelle spent some time together just walking and talking about random things.  He tried to avoid sharing his concerns about the mission since it would make thing more difficult.  Fast forward to today and things are just as difficult now as they were before they started making their way to this point.

He stood with the others command staff on the bridge knowing that the time had finally come.  As the messaging came in he watched Cerise working the comms equipment waiting to see how things were going to play out.

Cerise figured they wouldn't react well to not being rescued by their own kind, but that is why she opened with it; she wanted to clear the air as quickly as possible. Clearly this was NOT (currently) a Disciples of Zor outpost; otherwise they would not have been calling for aid from Tirol, which, to their knowledge, was under the control of the Robotech Masters. That was good and bad; good in that the Robotech Master controlled Tirolians were more predictable and better understood, but bad in that they were a more xenophobic culture than the Disciples seemed to be.

She also called Silas to the bridge, since having a Tirolian to aid in the negotiations could be useful. Intra-ship PA: "Lieutenant Nightshade, report to the Bridge."

Cerise considered for a moment and made sure to carefully word her response so as to minimize any typical Tirolian negative responses, but to encourage them to consider the alternatives.

Everyday for a little bit Skyrah would play her flute, it was a differant tune each day as time went on. However the tone of the songs would change a bit the closer they got to the mission sight, starting with happier song and growing more and more somber as they drew closer.

Then the call came, for everyone to get to battle stations. "Lieutenant make sure the Squad's is ready, for anything. I'm going to the bridge." She said to Korvon as she passed by him on her way to the bridge.

Xavier taken off guard by Sillia's actions calmly says to her Kitten, my dear sweet kitten, would you rather have her under our watch or someone else's? At least with her with us we can protect her with the best of our abilities.

Xavier grabs her hand that is pointing at his chest, pulls her closer to him, kisses her on the head, and whispers in her ear. Everything will be alright my kitten.

  Michelle knew this question was coming, though she had thought it would have been his second question, she knew the consequences that would follow. There would be no hiding the truth, even if she wanted to. Once they probed them in the synchro-chambers they would know. And they would know she told. She just hoped Kaarle would forgive her for not following orders.

  She looks at both of them for several moments. Before looking down fighting the pain; Her facial expression twisting as her head began to hurt and her voice began hinting of her resistance.  she falls to her knees; she can see what she wants to say. But the words begin to feel distant and harder to express. The world began to fade as she fought to finish her thought;  She grabs the side of her head as the pain becomes searing she screams out wishing it was physical pain, anything to make this go away. Even the electro shock punishment did not hurt like this did.  She was screaming as she forced herself to speak;

Thirteen shakes as he listens to what Michelle was saying. He physical pain was great but nothing compared to what he felt inside. Tears began to form as the pain build, pain and anger. He looked at Avarae and Michelle as past warnings and promises echoed in his mind. He took a deep breath and tried to center himself.


Like a damn bursting Thirteen let out all he was holding in. He did not mean to shout but, deep inside, he had to force himself to ask.

  As she fought back the tears she wished she had brought Kaarle here with her. Aravaes affection towards Thirteen seemed to help him somewhat.

  And there it was the real question he wanted answered.  Its was an honest answer.  the sweat pouring down her bright red face as she continued to answer his question.  She collapses to the deck unconscious with the last word, blood running from her nose.

  Cerise six days before current situations. the Medic sends you a report that Lt. Grey collapsed from exhaustion while working on her alpha. Twelve hours later she is released from the Medbay as nothing appears to be wrong. Corpsman Ramsbottom recommends the crew be made to take two hours a day for leisure activities.


  Current time Frame on the Bridge.

   Radio Transmission: They send the coordinates to the landing pad.


  Suddenly a new message broadcast off the relay probe in orbit. Its in a mix of several languages and take the computer several minutes to translate it. A DOZ message.

OOC: I'm not familiar with the abbreviation DOZ. Is it something that Cerise would know what is? You said the message was a mix of several languages, can I identify what (or any of the) languages were used?

Cerise forwards the 'files of observed technology' down to Miriana via internal comms, for analysis, along with the message: "Check these out; do they seem to be referring to us and/or our comm probe as the 'observed technology', or something else?"

She turns to Lieutenant Nightshade: "We're not going to have a lot of room, but I assume you can pilot a beta? If so, I want you to sit pilot for the beta; Lt. Grey will have to pilot the Alpha, since it is all keyed to her. I'll sit as sensor/gunner for the Beta for you."

Then she turns to Severian: "I don't want to risk the Vulture by taking it down there quite yet, but if your vehicle is capable of making the descent with us, you may come along as well. I will leave that to your discretion."

Then, to Miriana again: "I'm going to head down to the Tirolian outpost on an away mission; you have command of the Vulture while I'm gone. I'll be communicating via the relay probe for the time being. We still don't know what is attacking them, however, so be wary and keep the Vulture safe."

Then over the PA: "K'Chek, please have Batgirl prepare the alpha-beta for launch; we're going to head to the Tirolian outpost. I'll speak with you on the way down to it. Everyone else, remain on alert; there are still likely hostiles nearby and Lt. Thakun may require you to launch to defend the Vulture."

OOC: I knew it wasn't a transport; I hadn't realized we could bring any passengers except the crew: pilot for alpha, and pilot and comms/gunner for beta. Good to know we can bring some others, if we need it, though, for this foray, the fewer we risk, the better, I think.

"On second though, Severian; given the communications that we just intercepted, it might be wise if you remain here to do analysis on any further communications we intercept. If you need technical assistance with the communications aspect of it, I can have someone head up here. Ideally we'd really like to figure out where that signal is coming from and, even better, where it is going to. Perhaps we can make peaceful contact with them, despite them now assuming that we are affiliated with the Robotech Masters."

Once he had his orders from Cerise he got Michelle on the comm's and sent orders to prep launch.  He would meet up with and her and Cerise in the hangar bay.

Still standing at attention,Yes ma'am I would be happy to help. He said when she had finished asking him about translating (would it be considered translating or relaying?) the Tirolean language for her.

Standing Quietly listening to what Cerise had to say, about wanting him to fly the beta, he speaks up. I am sorry Ma'am but I cannot fly the beta, I have not been fully trained to fly the beta, I only know the basics.


Once he was finished talking to Cerise, he continued to stand at attention and listen quietly, until otherwise told.

OOC: I missed that Kaarle was on the bridge, sorry. So we can have the discussion there.

I suspect the bridge is pretty crowded, though with 3 extra people there.

Silas: We're in contact with some Tiroleans (which appear to be loyal to the Masters); Cerise asked Silas to come with her to go meet with them, so that she had a Tirolean face to present. She speaks Tirolean, as Silas would know (since she's been practicing it with him during the trip), so there's no need to translate/relay.


"Lt. Grey in the alpha will be doing the piloting unless things somehow get very desperate; in which case you would not be engaging, but rather evading; trying to make an escape. Even in such a situation, I believe it would be best to keep the two linked and rely on Lt. Grey's piloting abilities. If you prefer, I am trained in weapons systems, so I could sit in the pilot's seat, but I believe you also have weapons systems training as well as basic Veritech piloting, so you would be better suited to the task.

Before we launch, though, I want to wait for Lt Thakun's analysis of the data to see what the Disciples have detected already."

Mirage listens to what she can and does flight and armament checks on her Delta at least once a day, spending down time playing guitar and singing alone, or with others.  She is a bit shy about it at first.  It is obvious she has some talent for both.

As soon as Kaarle tells her to prep for lunch she is on the move. Within minutes she is in the alpha Cockpit hanger in full CVR.

  She climbs into her cockpit and begins pre-flight check list. Once she is finished she radios the bridge;

   Still not sure what is fully going on She runs a million possibilities through her head.

Plot/Story line moving forward.

  Cerise Makes the decision to go planetside with the linked Alpha, Beta accompanied by Silas in the Beta and Michelle in the Alpha.

 Despites her best efforts it takes Miaiana hours to break the Disciple of Zor transmission. It is a record of the events and equipment used by your group on the scout ship. while not a hundred percent correct, it is highly detailed and accurate. It refers to the humans as a new cybernetic Zentraedi. It also shows both the Preyton and Spherians as working with the Masters troops.

  Due to Cerise's size she is forced to have Silas crawl through the pilot compartment to the storage compartment before climbing into the beta's cockpit. As she settles in she can hear Michelle and the Bridge in communication as they go through the typical preflight launch. Once the coordinates are given the Linked veritechs are lowered away from the belly of the Vulture. letting the view of the planet cross their canopies.

 Within an hour the veritechs screeches across the sky. the landscape is barren, craters litter vast wastelands and there is no signs of life anywhere. As the team nears the only area still showing signs of life the veritech's combat computer screams to life as multiple weapon systems gain a target lock on them. Michelle remains calm and does nothing to cause issues with the Tirolian defenders.

  Another hour passes before the final touch down is made and the a group approaches the Veritechs. Cerise and Silas disembark while Michelle remains in her seat. The Terminator armor clad troops escort the pair along with some low level official to the Imperial palace. The official points out the cities strong points the fifty foot wall with the cannons every quarter mile. The spaceport they leave behind being the furthest from Tirol and in-charge of space trade ways with the Alien races beyond the empires dominion. He brags about the planets mining operation and how their production is above a hundred and twenty percent.

  Once the trio arrive at the Palace the younger official leads them to the planetary governors office, Once inside he makes the introductions to Governor Bonifacius and his elite Commander Agamemnon. They disapprove of Silas instantly the moment they realize he is Cerise subordinate. His subordination to Cerise showing his low status in the Ranks of Tirolian society.

  They are not truly convinced that the republic was defeated by micronians. But at least they are more respectful and listen to Cerise's tale of the History of the Robotech war. They go for a short tour of the capital, with the Governor speaking of the golden age. and does confirm that the time line of Cerise's tale does match the timeline where the resupply vessels stopped coming. But he gives several reason why that could have happen.
 When Cerise lets its it slip that she is not in command of the fleet, the Governor then changes his tactics, telling her to inform her superiors of the situation here. and if indeed Tirol fell to these humans. Promising to make sure the colony last transmission would reach Tirol telling the people there how this United Earth fleet abandon citizen of one of their protected worlds.

   With that he retires to deal with official duties leaving you in the care of his military commander. He is less hostile and explains that the Zentraedi Garrison and even the capital troops are depleted and defeat will come soon if there is no aid given, and the civilian population will be wiped out. He escorts the away team back to the veritechs and sending them off with at least a handshake and words of safe travels.

  Much like the approach they are covered with multiple weapons system until they are away. the return trip take the rest of the day, when they finally dock back up to the underside of the Vulture.

Upon her return to the Vulture, Cerise knows the next step, especially given what Miriana has managed to uncover about the Disciples transmission. She needs to make contact with them; it seems likely that they are already watching the Vutlure; obviously they've managed to see through it's stealth capabilities. Not that surprising given that those capabilities are more targeted toward Invid than anything else.

Cerise heads to the bridge and asks that Skyrah and Kaarle join her there; she pulls up Miriana via internal comms, not wanting to take her away from the Engine Room.

"Ok, here's the situation status; the Tirolians and Zentraedi on the surface are Masters loyalists. They obviously didn't totally believe me when I explained what has happened with the Tirolian Empire and the Masters. They also only have token forces remaining; no combat ready ships and their mecha forces have been decimated. I told them we'd try to save their people.

Here's how I want to go about that; I want to make peaceful contact with the Disciples. Given that their main objective was the overthrow of the Masters, which has been accomplished, we may be able to reason with them to make peace here.

I'm pretty sure, given the data that Miriana has managed to uncover so far, that they must have us under surveillance already. But they also think we're Masters loyalists. They also seem to have scanning technology that is far in advanced of anything we've seen. Presumably they have other technology that is similarly advanced, so if things get hot it could be very dangerous.

Anyone have any observations or ideas about how best to go about making them realize that we're not Robotech Masters' minions?"

Once you have all assembled he speaks loud and he speak clear so all can hear him; "I do not have our orders yet, but if we should find ourselves disembarking in a hostile situation I want us to have a clear plan of action."

 "I will head to the Stern (front) of the Vulture with Thirteen and Sillia. Xavier will protect the Aft (rear) with Ashtar and Patterson. Ramsbottom I want you suited up and in the cargo pod in case your need. This way your out of site of all but the best snipers. You give them close combat support." he pauses for a moment to let you all gather your thoughts.

  "I know this squadron is running light on specialist, but right now this is what we have and by god I expect nothing but the best from each of you. Lt. Valentine will likely take her Bird in the sky and do high altitude recon and command operations. Severian does not fall into the chain of command yet so i am not sure of his line of action."

  He looks back to Aravae who accompanied the team. "Young Lady, your a non-combatative, So unless this ship is blown to smiternings or we are told to abbandon it, you stay aboard.    Sillia Walk in with Xavier and give Thirteen a look to have him sit close to her. She maintained the image of being mad, but in truthfulness, Xavier had brought up a valid point. At least Aravae was where she could Keep an eye on her. And she trusted no one else with her safety like Thirteen.

Skyrah considers the situation for a moment, and considers the past actions they have taken. "Here is what we know. The Disciples attacked the Loyalists to overthrow them. We boarded a Disciple ship, destroyed it's defenders, and it, while it was transmitting information someplace unknown."

"It is safe to assume the Disciples already consider us an enemy because we have already taken action against them. Given that I am also sure that they already know we hold most of the Tirolian Empire in our sway after removing the Masters. We hold both their home, and have taken hostile action against them. They will not see us friendly. The safe assumption is they are trying to grab whatever Tirol colonies left to get an industrial base to try and retake Tirol." She explained.

"My suggestion, we aid the Loyalists, explain to them the situation on Tirol and give them the low down as to why. We bolster the Loyalist defenses with traps and use the terrain against the Disciples. Logically speaking, it's the best option we have. Logistically speaking, it's a nightmare. We'll have to hold that colony until help can come." Skyrah said calmly, emotionlessly.

Valentine. we should bolster their defenses get an idea of the enemy strength and figure out what is the best way to truly assist them. We do not have the means to evacuate them with the Vulture. And if they already know all about us then we should use the Vulture as a command center and evaluate the situations as they arise."

At the last comment Cerise displays visible disappointment. "When I described the evasive measures we were taking prior to making our descent I'd assumed that an intelligent officer would take all measures to effect that stealth. I guess I'll need to be more explicit in the future.

As for immediately assuming that one unfortunate encounter implies no hope for any peaceful relations, I disagree. We are not going to be effective as a unit in aiding in a simple military defense of the settlement, so it seems suicidal to take that approach until reinforcements arrive. We are trying to gather intel and make contact.

And, in the interest of protecting life, we're supposed to do what we can to reduce casualties and destruction. There are two ways we can go about that; one is, as you suggest, to do our best, militarily, to defend against the apparent aggressor in the situation. The other is to broker a cease fire or peace. I've found that if you attempt the latter and it fails, you can always fall back to the former, but the reverse is not the case.

It shouldn't hurt us any further to bounce a signal off of the relay probe in a mode similar to the one we intercepted, asking for a parlay. If they say no, we will be no worse off, if they say maybe or yes, then that, at very least, buys us time.

Severian's idea is what we can propose, and we should probably bring a party that is representative of the new galactic order that we will be informing them of."

Thirteen nodded at Sillia. Truth be told he was glad to have a mission pop up. Being focused on his job gave him a break from all that he was trying to process at the moment. He acknowledged his orders then turned to Avarae while everyone planned out the details.

"Stay close to the Silverback in case you have to board it. Do you need help suiting up?"

He says in a professional manner. He knew that once he was in the front line he would not be able to keep an eye on Avarae so he wanted to be certain she was as ready as possible before he moved out.

Cerise composed a message to be sent in the reverse way that they received/intercepted the message from the disciples; "This is the UEEF Vulture with a message for the party opposing the planet below. We seek to parlay. We are not affiliated with the Robotech Masters nor the Tirolian Empire, beyond responding to a distress signal sent from the planet below as mandated by our space-faring laws and customs. Again, we seek peaceful parlay with you."

Cerise attempts to encode the message int he same way they received the original, and sends it out.

OOC: 09:51, Today: Cerise rolled 95 using 1d100 with rolls of 95.  Cryptography (65%) - trying to encode a message in the way that the DOZ did.

Oof. Well, good thing they have great tech. Maybe they'll be able to decrypt my mumbo jumbo.

Cerise sends the Message back towards the now destroyed Disciples of Zor Scout ship. As well as to the capital of the Colony below.  Several hours will pass before anything happens.

  PFC Hart on Sensor speaks up; "There is activity on the planet. The Captial is under attack. appears to be Invid Inorganics. There is a mix of bioroids and zentraedi mecha engaging them."

  He then brings up the conflict on the monitors so everyone can see. the Defenders are holding their ground. but the loses are growing.

The Disciples are a mystery; basically a total unknown. Invid, however, are a known quantity. They need to be stopped, and there is little chance of negotiation with them.

"Private, please forward the sensor data to Lt.s Cherkovski and Valentine.
Staff Sgt Plot a course to land us near the combat zone for troop deployment, but do not execute until we have a tactical analysis."



Then, over internal comms a three way convo: "Lt.s Cherkovski and Valentine please make a quick assessment of the data I've forwarded; I need a tactical assessment of whether we can make a difference in the fight. Have Banshee and Wraith get ready to deploy, but let's not launch any of the veritechs until we decide what we're doing, ok?"

Thirteen nods, oblivious to why there would be giggling before a mission. He then looks to Sillia.

"Could you help us get Avarae ready before we go?"

He asks politely. His eyes betray something other than just efficiency, however. Deep down he hopes that the sisters can be together without fighting before they go. A more pleasant memory before a possibly dangerous mission.

"Ok, how about we have Wraith deploy just before we hit atmo and begin their operation prior to Vulture landing, to provide a distraction. Then Vulture can land between the enemy lines, Banshee deploys, then Vulture takes back off to somewhere not under immediate fire.

The danger, of course, in this plan, is that Banshee is then fully committed; there would be no chance of retreat; only fighting through the line to get to the Tirolian and Zentraedi side.

Once the deployment briefing was concluded Sillia went over and assisted Thirteen in getting Aravae suited up and ready just in case. She let him do most the work since that was what her little sister really wanted.

  Once Aravae is suited up she gives her a quick lecture and tells her to stay safe and aware of what is going on. while Thirteen gets suited up.

  She gives Thirteen a glance and then says; "Ok Ill give you two a couple minutes. Don't leave anything unsaid you wish to say."

  With that she suits up in her hunter killer armor, before grabbing her Armor Piercing Rifle. and giving Xavier a sly smiles before he mounts up. She signs "I love you!" she closes the face mask and does a quick systems check.

  Having finished her report to Cerise, she click send. She then goes about the rest of the day awaiting further instructions.

When the briefing concludes, Michelle confirms her orders and makes her way to her Alpha. She climbs into the cockpit and begins bringing her veritechs to full life. Activating her shadow clock she quickly runs through preflight and awaits the green light.

 Kariza Helps Michelle to get her veritech ready before giving her a thumps up. She quickly makes her way to the elevator and retracts the Alpha Hanger.
  Wraith Squadron Launches from the Vulture, Batgirl is lowered and set free from the underside of the Vulture, she takes the lead giving cover as the other four launch. the cargo pods open up to release them. the dark planet below is clearly seen beyond the opening.

  Once suited up in Cyclones,  Kariza takes the starboard and Matt the port cargo pod over seen by Miriana who is now running Operations from Vulture’s Bridge.  They hit the Quick release freeing both Kchek and Delta from the deck giving them the clearance for takeoff.  Once free of the Vulture and clear of the doors. Pocket and Rough Rider are released by the deck crew before they are cleared for takeoff.  They clear the Vulture and form up on Delta. Once the others are free Batgirl takes her place on Kchek wing.  They can see the vulture doors close behind them as they begin the spearhead assault,targeting the raging battle planet side.

   Kariza and Matt pressurize the Cargo pods so they can get to the rear sections to get Banshee Squad out the doors quickly. Korvan gives Reader a glance. Despite her age she was gonna lead this team into glorious battle. He gave her a quick nod with a grin. “Like a Zentraedi” he thought.  He gives Thirteen and Sillia a thumps up which they return signaling they were ready before loading up into his own striker bioroid.
    Sgt. Xavier, Sgt. Ashtar watch as Lt. Cerise mounts up into the Silverback which will carry her into battle. Severian  in his hew armor stands at the ready to deploy holding onto the rail. Corpsman Ramsbottom forms up with Sgt. Ashtar. Her rifle in hand.

   The Vultures lights vanish as they make the approach to the battle Field. PFC Hart who is manning the sensors speaks up; “oh my god, there are six Gralka just outside of the colony wall cannons range.”  (Invid Fury Mobile artillery units) Sgt Swift shouts over his shoulder; “Lieutentant this is gonna be a bumpy ride.” Miriana Transmits over the radio;   She then gives the coordinates to the six Fury’s hiding just outside of the Colony defense cannons.  Wraith Squad you will need to do 2100 MDC damage to each to destroy them.
  Miriana then opens the radio again in her usual stoic tone; 
   A minute later they reply.

  There are Hundreds of Inorganics on the battle field most of them cougars. Half of them are passed the first fifty mile markers and engaging the Bioroid defenders.
  As you make you approach the bridge transmits the battle below. ( GM Note: ill describe it once you hit the deck.)

   Banshee squad you are bouncing around in the cargo pods.

  Wraith Squadron you have one melee round of actions to take out Invid Furys.

Once they're both suited up and riding down to the drop point, Cerise gets on the comm with Skyrah: "Reader, I'm going to focus on coordinating sensor data in the combat computer and coordinating with Wraith, the Tirolians and the Zentraedi; I want you to take tactical command of Banshee. Make sure to mark target priorities on the combat computer so we all know what to hit and with what. Anything that we need to do to take best advantage of our coordination, I'll relay to you and you implement it."


OOC: In other words I'm going to try to operate kinda like Rick Hunter in this; I'll use my command computer to give us our bonuses and keep comms going to coordinate, but, otherwise, shoot at and/or ewar whatever you designate for me.

He smiles.

After he has his moment with Avarae he follows Sillia and takes his position. A bike will be useless right about now so he switches to armor mode and takes cover. Like a predator, he patiently waits for his targets to come.

Xavier winks at Sillia in response to what she said, and keeps going. He was worried about her, Aravae and the rest of the crew. However, that will not stop or change what will happen to them in the near future.

So he mentally prepares himself and goes over the strategic plans for the worst, while hoping for the best. Focusing on the mission at hand. Xavier goes over his checklists, as he heads to his assigned location.

Severian prepares his Air Skimmer and once the transport begins planetfall, he straps himself in for the descent. He disliked the way human technology entered an atmosphere - Perytonian vehicles entered atmosphere so much more smoothly, he thought to himself.

He was eager to test his new magical enhancements to his CVR-1 armor as well. He felt the connection to the enchantments as he fully donned the armor so he knew they were properly installed.

He hoped the Disciples response didn't come during this battle - he would like to know their response to their hail to meet.

  Batgirl leads Wraith Squadron followed by Pocket, Rough Rider and Kchek and Delta.  Missiles begin firing almost instantly. However Delta”s Veritechs targeting system disengaged before she could get a target lock. Targets light up instantly.  The Invid begin to scramble trying to find high speed targets getting nailed with a second, third and fourth. Followed by all the bombs from the Betas bomb bay.  All the Invid furys but one are laying in piles of shrapnel along with dozen Invid inorganics that were caught up in the missile barrage of the missed volley’s.

  The Vulture moves to the target and prepares to make its hard combat landing. The green light is given and Banshee squad moves out. Reader leads the way with Whisper right behind her as Xavier, sue Severian, Vindicator followed at last by Thirteen and Tigress Followed by Hard Head in his Old school Hover Tank.


 Wraith Squadron leaves combat as the fly past and circle back around.  The Zentraedi and Bioroids are standing strong. there are inorganics moving all about, though non have targeted your group yet.

Miriana had, in between running Operations, kept an eye on the course of battle as best she could. There were a lot of targets however, and she tried to focus on staying far enough to avoid detection, yet close enough to dive in for combat support if the squadrons ended up being overwhelmed if need be. She flipped on the radio again.


She knew who was in command, and was predisposed not to break the chain when issuing advice. Whether it would be followed up on was outside of her hands, but the attempt was made, and with it an attempt to be more 'human-like' as far as she understood their culture. She had a ways to go, and it required her to work on it, as it was the very notion of advising her CO -- thus implying a mistake might be made -- was enough to send a shudder of disgust down her spine. taking a deep breath, she focused on her work again, at least partially as a distraction from her previous thoughts.

  Those on the Bridge of the Vulture hear the voice of Batgirl over the radio; "Vulture, there is one Fury left, Repeat Vulture be aware of the final Fury when you lift off."

   Specialist Yasan calls to the bridge as soon as all of Banshee squad is disembarked Kariza "Bridge Banshee is clear, ready for dust off."
  Speaking over his shoulder, pilot Sgt. Swift says; "we are clear Ma'am, waiting for your orders."

Banshee Squad:

  You have twenty Invid cougars ten Odeons being lead by a single Crann the cougars are running in pairs but not close enough as a whole to be hit by a single volley. they appear to be circling around you. The otheres are running at you space out as well. with the Crann moving up the center. They will be within close combat range next round as they are running straight at you at full speed.


  Wraith squadron you manage to get your team turned around and dropped down to combat speed. However there is nothing in the air besides you at this time.

Cerise remained in vehicle form, since she needed mobility more than she needed hand-to-hand capability. She kept her place in the middle of the pack while she listened to incoming communications from the defenders, Banshee, Wraith, and the Vulture. She listens to the Banshee squad radio, but, at least for now, doesn't speak up on it; only in command channel and any channels established with the defenders.

  Sillia jumps over to the Silverback containing the Mission CO as order.  she say over the radio to let command know she received her order. She signals Thirteen to stay aware as he moves out.
  She follows Thirteens movement on her radar to make sure he was not surrounded and overwhelmed, while taking shots of opportunities at any Invid getting to close.

  The members of Banshee fall onto the battle field with Reader issuing orders as the team falls in. Corpsman Ramsbottom stays close to Sue as she is surrounded by the squad as she begins setting up the teams combat computers to link together.  Vulture Takes off Merlin stumbles a bit as he temps to move forward. Whisper covers the back side as the Vultures depart. Tigress jumps over to Sues Silver back and watches the general direction Thirteen takes off in. Hard head digs in and begins to locate targets. As Severian takes off to the left to get to the cougars closing the Distance Vindicator prepares to fire at some of the others.

   A reentry pod lands a short distance away from the groups location. Forced to attempt to her jamming again, Reader manages to get it.  Thirteen closes the distance as the first rail fire goes past him from tigress’s rail rifle.  Merlins fires his  M-1255 120mm Laser Cannon scoring a direct hit on the Oedon near the Crann causing it to actually take a step back.  Severian hits the cougar with a ball of fire shot from his hand. Causing the Inorganic to spin to pounce the Preyton on his hovercycle. Hard Head hover tank opens fires with  105mm cannon at a Oedon on the opposite side of the Crann scoring a hit. But the Inorganic continues to move forward. Whisper fires four short range missiles at Oedon sending it, flying back, but not destroying it. Vindicator targeting the scorched cougar that Severain hit, opens fire with  a ten round burst using his  HRG-70 Rapid-Fire Rail Gun sending the creature into a thousand pieces.

 Reader fire her first volley of missiles destroying the Crann as they impact the inorganic as it tried to jump out of the way. Thirteen Hits the Cougar in the skull as it pounces at him his vibro sword stuck in its head. Merlins fires the Spartans chest laser at the Oedon, its showing signs of severe damage. Severian avoids a second Cougar that attempted to attack him as it jumps into the air at him.  Sue makes contact with the Zentraedi,  Hard head reloads his Auto Cannon and readies to fire his second shot.  Sillia screams “NOOOO!” has she opens fires with her rail cannon hitting a second cougar leaping at thirteen, Hitting it in the head, it lands several yards behind thirteen limp and lifeless. Corpsman rifes her rifle at one of the cougars closing in hitting it, but not doing enough to stop it. Whisper fire 8 more short range missiles at a second Oedon, sending it into a billion pieces. Vindicator fire another 10 round burst from his HRG-70 hitting his targeted cougar.

 The Inorganics suddenly stop for a moment, 29 new targets appear on the radars, Readers second volley hits a Oedon causing it to explode.  Ripping his blade free Thirteen Vibro sword rips through the head of the Cougar dropping it to the ground. Sue fires at the damaged Oedon Merlin had hit twice, causing it to fall forward no longer moving.  Merlin fires again hitting a new Oedon. Severain takes note that Invid inorganics are falling back as a new group of Zentraedi approach being led by an officer Pod and four female suits of Power armor.  And several dozen mixed pods. Hard heads Tank fires again hitting the first whisper hit Oedon that was still moving finishing it off. Tigress fires again, scoring a hit on a one of the cougar. Whisper fires another 8 short range missile wiping another Oedon off the planet. Corpsman Ramsbottom fires again, this time hitting the cougar Tigress had hit.  Vindicator fires another 10 round burst destroying the cougar he had already hit.

   Missiles come flying overhead as the new Zentraedi rush to your location destroying the remaining Oedons. Wraith squadron and is nearly over head, Banshee Squad is now face to face with the Zentraedi. The Officer Pod stands in front of the massed group. “Greeting Micronians, I am Warlord Volram.”  The battle is turned and most the Invid are on the run.

For the time being, Cerise doesn't get into the local interaction; Skyrah had already initiated that, and the Zents would not be aware of their command or unit structure, so inserting herself into the conversation would likely result in confusion. Still, she'd initiated the radio conversation so that she could set up regular lines of communication for tactical data; she'd go ahead and continue that process, despite the immediate threat having been eliminated.

Thirteen grew silently frustrated at his sword being stuck on his opponent's head. He also did not panic as he sensed another approaching him then crumbled to the floor after it was shot. He finally finished his target and got his sword free.

He looked around the state of the battlefield and the fleeing Invid. He turned and walked back towards the others as he awaited further others.

  Vulture Breaks orbit and hides using its cloaking device. Miriana watches over the groups monitoring their progress.


  Delta, leads both Roughrider and Pocket as they give pursuit of the retreating Invid. However as they close the distance, the Invid seems to be swallowed up by the ground disappearing completely.

  Kchek and Batgirl fly tight circles over banshee Squad.


  The Officer's pod opens up and leans forward. A rather tall figure steps out of it he is in the full Zentraedi armor minus his helmet His short brown hair is blowing with the wind. He looks down at Skyrah before his voice booms,  "Greetings Micronian, I am Warlord Volrum, commander of the Ku'Urtz fleet." He turns his head slightly as he leans in a bit, examining Skyrah a little closer. "So it was your Race that destroyed Lord Dolza's fleet. Impressive." 


  Delta and the others begin their return when they finally lose the last of the Invid as they attempt to trap it. They watched as the ground open up and the Last Cougar falls through a small opening large enough for a Mecha to go through.

   Following Delta, She flips her radio on;  she double checks her instruments trying to find a Invid they could corner and trap. However non presented themselves as they seem to disappeared. Like the ground just swallowed them whole.

  She awaits orders as they watch the last of the Invid drop through an opening.

the group moves with the escort to the gates of the Tirolian city. Once at the Gates the Zentraedi are turned away and a group of Centenarians in Terminator (masters) armor step into the road way. One steps forward. We are her to escort your people to a hanger so that your mecha can be secured and you can see the Governor.

  With that they lead you about a mile away to an abandon roman style building where your mecha can fit. though the alphas will need to transform into guardian mode.

Miriana frowned when the new arrivals showed up on her scanners, and proceeded to give the same type of orders she would have if the Invid from below would have ended up potentially catching the Vulture into scanner range. Namely, reposition if there was even the slightest chance for detection: If the transports would be taken out, then the battle below would become one of basic attrition that the Invid would have the upper hand in. She did try to get a message to the ground teams though.

   three masters hover cars arrives as you exist the building, the first one is fully enclosed. and the governors aid opens the door and invites you in. the two others are open top. four of your terminator armor glad escort get into the two vehicles. (two each) while the remaining six to stand guard at the building.

   the quick ride to the governor palace is over before you know it and the two other cars do not follow into the court yard. the aid takes you to the governor who is standing on a balcony over looking the wall towards the distance you arrived. "Welcome back, and thank you for your assistance. I do not know if we could have held off the attack with the Invid Garlka, the artillery was smashing our troops much longer."

  The governor looks at the five UEEF soldier, his eye lingering on Mirage then Korvan for a moment longer then the rest of your group. He looks up at Cerise, a slight look of curiosity in his expression as she spoke.

  "Yes" he replied to the first question as a simple statement of fact. However he too appeared to be stumped when it came to the second. "I image it has to do with the scorpion class ship that arrived. It has all the characteristics of the Regents personal ship according to our readings."

  He turns back to the battle field staring off into the distance as a subordinate woman in a traditional toga carrying a tray with six ornate golden goblet with wine, stopping to give each member of the group one before taking a sip of the last one before handing it to the governor.
  He looks at it as he speaks; "I am not sure why the Regent would be this far from Optera, perhaps you were telling the truth Cerise and he is finishing off the colonies himself. Whatever the reason, we do not have the fire power or the resources to repeal his forces." He takes a drink of the wine. a smile cross his lips. "This was grown in my own vineyards before they invaded right here." he turns and faces your group once more. "I plan on sending the Zentraedi forces into the tunnels to engage the Invid, and if lucky they can find the Regent in one of the underground hives and kill him before they can launch an attack."

  His aid stays off to the side, quietly observing the overall situation as it unfolds.

Cerise makes certain no prying ears are listening to the conversation, then replies;
"I'm not in favor of committing our small unit to a large suicide mission. Especially under the command of someone who considers us only an erstwhile ally, emphasis on the erstwhile part.

We all know that the UEEF is their best hope for long term survival, but the Governor does not yet seem convinced of that.

We can provide air cover, distraction, and/or rear guard, I suppose, but I'm not convinced that it would be in anyone's best interest for us to head down into an Invid hole with the Regent himself. I'm honestly rather shocked that the Governor is doing so; when he described the mission he referred to the Zentraedi doing it; from my understanding of Master's era Tirolean culture, I would have expected him to be doing it as a sort of win-win; if the Zentraedi managed success, then of course, safety would be won, but if they failed, then it would be easier for the Tiroleans to retreat, as the Zentraedi would no longer present a morale problem, of sorts.

For now, I think the most important thing we can do is to help Miriana work on the Zentraedi ship; even though most of us do not have extensive knowledge of mechanics and engineering, the UEEF culture tends to lend itself to more cross-specialty knowledge than either Zentraedi or Tirolean culture does, so we probably will make better laborers for her efforts than untrained Tiroleans would."

  Skyrah's usual minimalist expression as she took everything in and began considering her words carefully; "The Zentraedi are warriors as is the Governor, they respect show of martial skills. We showed up and told them the UEEF was now in control of Their home world." her eyes shift for a second as the next thought is processed for a split second. "If the Governor leads the assualt that kills the Invid Regent, if it is the Regent. he will have gained great honor and likely a promotion in the Tirolian Society he believes still exist."

  Her own training kicking in as she sees Kaarle begin to walk away; "I believe we should help him. Maybe not all the non combatant troops, but everyone else. We are the elite and this is what we are trained to do."

 As an in game thing, command would let you run the mission as you deem fit. Your team operates as a lone scout/assault team.


  Active players to my knowledge is Severian, kaarle, Mirage, And thirteen. and Cerise. But these are the ones posting. and send Michelle and/or Sillia.

  Yes of those listed Thirteen is the only one emitting PC on invid scanners. but they can still see you.

With that Cerise let's Miriana know that the remainder of them are at her disposal, as she needs, and that their other goal while the fighting happens is to prepare the civvies for evac, so she's going to try to get that rolling and/or remove any obstacles to that.

Not that the civvies will necessarily listen to her... but she is a diplomat, so she might be able to get them to see reason.

  The team readies themselves for the mission to assist the Tirolian and Zentraedi to find the Invid.

  Michelle along with Kariza get the beta secured on the Vulture as Matt and others get her Alpha's Missiles.

  Areavea does not approch Thirteen as he gets read but can be seen watching him as she paces back and forth.

  The Govoner is in a Red Bioroid with a cap attached, his hoversled waiting for him to mount up. He looks to Kaarle; "Let us find victory or an honorable death. Your people can save the civilian as we go into battle my brother."

  The group heads off and meets the Zentraedi forces at the city gate. They lead the way to the opening they believe the Invid went down. it appears to go down at six degree slope.

   The advanced groups moves out, staying alert the Zentraedi take the outer guard position four Zentraedi fighter pods stay on standby to assist Delta if she finds she is in trouble.

  the trip takes roughly an hour to find the entry. The tunnel drops straight down into the darkness. the Governor speaks over his radio;


 Repair/Command group
  Those who remained behind are separated by three group. Korvan has all combat units find positions that will give them the most advantage for support fire.

   Cerise:
  You monitor the group with the tirolian command. The fighter pod informs you the team is descending. Once they jump down the cavern you and the others lose track of them. Miriana reports in. She informs you the ship is out of protoculture and there is damage in the engines which will take at least a week to repair. She is trying to solve the fuel problem as shd works.

   Away team:
  Each of you in turn jump into the cavern after a minute of free fall you slam through a shimmering barrier. Continuing to fall for ten minutes more before you slam through another barrier. Its dark your radar shows you are in a 60' diameter cicular room. Each of you are alone. You recieve no signal from the others when you call over the radio. Same with command. Searching the room is a 20 arch way with a shimmering barrier between you and where ever it leads. You do not see anything above you and trying tk fly up leads to a closed dome ceiling 100'feet up.

Mirage you are able to move in guardian mode easily enough with your skill level barely making it a challenge.

   You travel in the tunnels a mere two  minutes before you see the govenor bioroid standing on his hoversled at an opening to a great cavern. Your sensors tell you almost nothing beyond its general shape which make you think of a giant maple leaf. In the center is a stilt hive connected to both the cavern roof and floor a mile and a half below. Its about three times the size of a normal hive. There is a purple glow about the place outlining thousands of stalagmites  and stalactites. There is a river flowing through the cavern. Tempatures in here are extremely high making your thermals almost worthless.

   The governor voice comes over the radio; "are the others behind you?" He ask casually.

  Michelle, going through a quick systems check tries the radio. Frowning when she is unable to make contact with the others. Even command was not responding. Quickly looking about the chamber she decides it must be the rock preventing the signal. Her skin crawls at the thought of being stuck in a tight spot if she is attack, she decides heading out through the only opening available to be her best option.

Severian brought his Air Skimmer down rather harshly as he finally hit the ground - or at least what passed for the ground in this place. He opened communications with the team but found no response and activated his sensors in his CVR-1 recon helmet to try to find his allies in that manner. He considered casting a Globe of Daylight spell but he was not sure if that would attract enemies as well as allies so he decided to rely on his human-made armor and its sensor suite to find the others. He picked a random direction and moved his Air Skimmer forward as terrain allowed, using his radio to hopefully contact anyone in his group before their little tumble.

Kchek brings his veritech in position with Delta's he's concerned about where the others are and the ongoing radio chatter as he opens up Comm's.  He engages his advanced sensor suite to providing additional information for others on his, assuming they get the feedback.

Cerise starts to get concerned about 10 minutes in to the contact blackout. After and hour or two with no word, she's very concerned. Someone should have broken out enough to make contact by now, even if it was just a runner. Perhaps they're trapped somehow.

Still, there's not much she can do on that front, except monitor for incoming communications or any sensor readings that indicate something of interest.

Thirteen narrows his eyes towards the cougar. It seemed it had not noticed him yet which meant that he had the choice of what his role would be. Would he attempt to get get away? No, he did not think he would stay clear of the cougar's senses for long which would then turn him into prey. That left only one option. Be the predator.

Thirteen patiently stalked the cougar and waited for an opening.

Thirteen spots the two other cougars in the distance. He felt relieved that radar was working better than communications, at least. He continued to quietly stalk but decided against striking for the time being. With other hunters in the area it seemed like a better idea to see where this particular cougar was going and keep an eye on the movements of the others.

Thirteen frowned. He was not about to let this happened. Being a predator himself, he studied the movement of the Cougars. He wanted to stop the ambush while not allowing the others a chance to escape. He waited until the Cougar he was stalking was in optimum position where an attack would not be as big an alert to the others and he pounced on it, his blades drawn and looking to decapitate. At the same time he sent a message to the bioroids.

Thirteen uses the stalagmites and stealth to move in for the kill his blades slowly extend from the arm shields. Something primal is triggered in his mind. As the invid cougar gets ready to pounce on the enemy of the Invid unaware of their preparedness. A low growl  escapes his lips as he springs forth striking the unaware cougar from behind sending it flying in to the side from the first blow.
   The cougar is unable to get out of the way as the human machine is on it striking hitting it once more. However it lashes our with its claw hitting with a critical strike. (natural 20) doing six points of damage.
   The teenage war machine unrelenting presses the attack, no longer concerned for the bioroids or Zentraedi  as he goes for the kill. Striking the cougar as it attempted to jump out of the way sending the blade into the back of his head as it stumbled. (natural 1)
  The next few seconds is a flash of blades and a screaming into the radio as Thirteen stabs and slashes the now decapitated cougar.
   A Unknown voice is heard over the radio: “You have killed your enemy small micronian warrior! We need to move out.”


Kaarle and Mirage:

  The others see several smalls arms fire off in the distance as the light from the laser dissipate like a lightening strike.
   The Governor speaks over the radio; “All units in fire fight draw enemy forces your way. Hold them off at all cost. All other units proceed to hive immediately. Prepare for assault as soon as the enemy is drawn out of hive.”
   He then addresses Kaarle and Mirage. I suggest you take to the rooftop and prepare for Arial assault into the hive. I ll use my forces to occupy the enemy while you enter from above.

  Severian:
The allies welcome you to the fight. They are honored to have a war mage of the Preyton forces fight beside them.


Cerise:

   The command tower is abuzz with the comms. Hearing the orders. A request on progress on Vulture readiness is asked for. The civilians are all ordered to make their way to the vessel.

Cerise carefully listens for statuses regarding her unit, in addition to monitoring any signals that come into the command monitoring suite in her helmet. She knows better than to interject anything, since this fight is not under her command; anything she said would only add to the chaos.

Thirteen took a deep breath as he looked down at his broken foe. He pondered it for a moment before he heard the voice.

"Understood." He calmly replied and quickly snapped his arms to fling off the fluids from his blades before sheathing them and following the Zentradi.

   One of the Bioroid pilots speaks to you over the loudspeaker; "I think your Friends are on the move to attack the hive. While having a War Mage fight along side us would be an honor. But we understand if you feel the need to fight with them."

  Wraith and Thirteen:

  As the three fighters meet up at the cavern ceiling there are two assault fronts as missiles fly from multiple locations off the floor. Smoke spills out of the hive in many locations. The invid swarm out of the hive by the masses. Your combat computers cannot track the numbers as they fly at top speed to the cavern floor. many throwing themselves in front of the incoming missiles.

  What you notice is the majority of Invid mecha are inorganics and not the standard Inivd mecha.

  After the fire fight begins you notice several entry ways open and unguarded.

  The Invid stop funneling out of the hive and move swiftly to engage their most hated foes.

  An opening is seen for the team to make entry.

  Kaarle Radio's to the infiltration team; "All right, lets get in there and knock this hive out of the sky. Severian, if you can join us your services maybe needed here. Delta your in first lead the way to the core. Batgirl you and Thirteen are next and Ill bring in the rear guard.


   Severian ditches his hover cycle and uses his suit jets catapult him up with the others in the hive.

   Delta is first in and forced to transform almost immediately, as the hulls are narrow. She radios this to the others leveling her weapon to give cover.


  Michelle radios Thirteen to get ready to jump. as she slows down and giving him the chance to jump before transforming herself. leveling her rifle to give cover.

  Thirteen jumps, rolling with his landing. blades shooting out of his forearm shields as he come to stand ready for a fight.

  Severian lands next to Thirteen.

  Kaarle lands covering the rear.

  As Mirage leads the way she sweeps right then left when she comes to any intersections as she leads the way. there is an eerie feeling as your group makes its way forward. there is a lack of Invid in the hive.

   The core chamber is a mess as missles and laser fire is exchanged.  The coms burst to life with reports of the massive Invid vessels escaping though one of the exist.

  With quick efforts the core is breached and a realization of it getting ready to explode send the group to make a hasty exit.  As the hive explodes the cavern begins to collapse in upon itself. A handful of Zentraedi and Bioroids are able to make it to the exiting tunnel. The master governor and Zentraedi warlord along with most of the others remain at the exit holding off the waves of inorganics trying to give pursuit.


   From the city the earth if felt the earth quake beneath their feet. The sensors see the Invid ships take off and leave the planets orbit.  Before they make thier way to the now powered Zentraedi landing ship awaiting thier arrival. Taking off as the city crumbles as the tectonic plates rip it apart in thier spasm set off by a chain reaction below the planets surface.

A reentry pod awaits the group as the make the way out of the tunnel in a frantic hurry as it too collapses. Taking the survivors to the landing ship in high orbit.

  The planet below begins to spew lava and fiery destruction as it cleanses itself of the Invid and Master presence.

   Everyone is reunited in the large hangar of the vessel which houses the vulture. While basic engines are functional the majority of the vessel is uninhabitable. Requiring independent life support system. Spacefold is not capable at this time, Miriana and the other techs are running arround thd vessel sealing leaks and trying to patch systems to working order.

   Michelle fights with nothing less then her best effort becoming a machine. Noticing the others doing the same.

   she felt the rush from the escape, testing her skills as a pilot in a final climax as she cleared the tunnel of the escaped. While she was not thrilled with the ride in the reentry pod, she had no other choice without the beta, the launch was unnerving with others in control of their accent. But once in orbit she found herself staring out to watch the planet erupt in rebirth or its final death spasm. She felt the awe of seeing something so rare.

   when finally she is on the landing ship, she falls in with the others. Not really sure how she can assist the Engineers and her techs as a pilot. But as soon s she was dismissed she made her way to team trying to fix the vessel.

   Mirage as you search for the Governor you learn he did not make it. The remaining soldiers go through the honoring ceremonies for him and their fallen
comrades.


Cerise: the Governor second in command assumes his title. He agrees with you about his predecessors plan and complements your teams skills. He also expresses his admiration of your engineers.

Once back on board with the rest of his team its clear by the looks on their faces it was a hard fought fight, but now was not the time to rest as he reported to Miriana with the rest of his team.  He'd tried to catch up to Michelle, but in all the commotion there wasn't much for it.  Like the others he wasn't sure how they would be able to help in the situation, but even a grunt has their uses in a pinch and they would do everything they could to assist.

"Lt Miriana is really a top rate engineer. So long as our only challenge is repairs, I'm certain she will carry us through. I'm going to see if I can lend a hand as well. Please contact me if anything alarming occurs; we'll want to be ready if there are any further problems. If possible, you may want to try to have some troops ready, just in case there are any Invid stragglers, though they should be disorganized and ineffectual without their leadership.

You may also want to draw up plans for your people to retreat to the Vulture as an emergency escape vessel; it won't support us all for long, but, even stuffed to the gills, it is more hospitable than hard vacuum.

If you have anyone with any mechanical knowledge at all, I would suggest assigning them to assist Lt Miriana; the more people turning wrenches, the safer we'll be."


With that Cerise heads down to where Miriana is working and submits herself to assist wherever she can. Like the others, she doesn't have any notable skill with mechanical things, but she can program computers and operate sensor equipment. She also has some resistance to normal physical damage, so she can do dangerous jobs without as much danger, so long as what she needs to do can be described.

  As soon as the attack party landed Silly rushed in to find Thirteen. Quickly removing the helmet of the power armor she rushed in Huging him tightly not carring about anyone elses opinions or looks. "You made! Im glad to see you made it back in one piece. Ill catch up with you after we finished getting things fixed. but i had to make sure you were a hundred percent. welcome back Marine eh ra!"

  With that she places her helmet back on and returns to her assigned work stations.

Thirteen was taken aback by the hug in a situation like this but found he no longer minded. Ultimately, it felt good to have people who cared about him again. Aravae had reminded him how it felt.

   Aravae is pacing through the Vulture none stop to the point even the crew is going crazy.


   there are a little more than six thousand Tirolians and seventy six full size Zentraedi Warriors and crew.

  after twenty straight hours most the technicians including Miriana is found sleeping. Two decks are secured and able to hold independent life supports.

  the Gambit and the fleet have informed you they will arrive shortly. The plan is to then fold to Tokyo 3 after arrival and secure the orbital space before Freedom Station arrival two weeks later.

  landing teams will be sent planet side to locate two building sites. Before the fleet returns to Earth to join the battle to reclaim it from the Invid.

After the harrowing experience on the Tirollian colony and the Hive they literally fell into, Severian felt relieved to be back among the humans that comprised the expeditionary fleet. In the hours that went by, he busied himself checking on his equipment and lending assistance with his skills and spells while the Gambit returned.

   Aravae pauses in her tracks when thirteen finally shows up on the vulture. Making sure he was real she runs over to him throwing herself upon him. Not letting go for several minutes. Everyone around them feel a since of relief and happiness as she just hugs himresting her head upon his shoulder. "I thought you were busy. they wouldn't allow me to leave the vessel."


  The torilains find the preyton's magic fascinating a myth come true before thier eyes. Some ask random question of how it works and if he could teach them how to wield such power. Before going about the duties.

  Two days pass since the fleet arrives. The Apex has attached itself to the Zentraedi Nupetiet Vergnitzs Class Vessel, supplying it with power. A mere smear against the mighty vessels hull. A detachment of Explorer Corps was detached to help integrate the new arrivals.

   Vulture and all her crew return to gambit to get some R&R while the Vulture is restored and re26R while the Vulture is restored and resupplied fohe Vulture is restored and resupplied for the up coming mission. You are informed you will be briefed at 0800 and to enjoy the evening.

Cerise heads to her quarters for an hour, in hopes that she can turn on the high intensity lights and get a satiating "meal", before she needs to turn them off to accommodate her roommate. After that, or if that isn't an option, she'll head to the officer's lounge to practice socialization and inter-species communication. If she is allowed she'll try to find a table where the preferred language is one she hasn't yet learned and encourage them to converse, so she can listen.

Kaarle had decided to take the R&R and orders to heart as he finished his shower.  They had been so busy over the course of the several weeks that the a bit of relaxation was a welcome reprieve from their day to day duties.  On top of that it gave him a chance to spend some much needed time with Michelle.

Turning off the water after rinsing out his hair, and wrapping a towel around his waist he made his way back to things, drying off carefully before pulling graphic tee over his head depicting a long dead metal band from long ago.  Topping things off with jeans, sneakers, ball cap, and some cologne he'd squirreled away for a rainy day, he felt like a million dollars, and was ready to go find Michelle wherever she was hiding.  Since she wasn't in their room he sent her a message to meet him and headed out the door.

She'd seem a bit distant since the last mission, but he knew things were hard on her considering everything they had been through.  His own emotions were running ragged as he it seemed like with every turn he was being forced to question the decisions of leadership and struggling to follow orders, that before he'd been given this assignment he would have followed diligently.  Making his way to the officers lounge he saw Cerise sitting there awkwardly with a few of his fellow crew were talking, they kept giving sideways glances at her but otherwise continued as she sat and listen.  He shook his head with a smirk somewhat glad she was pestering someone else as he went up to the bar and signaled the bartender for their attention.  "Vodka" was all he said to them as he'd planned on getting a drink while he waited for his date.  A few drinks, some dinner, and maybe a movie sounded like the trick to alleviate some of the tension building inside him.

Where was Michelle he wondered as the bartender returned with a small glass of clear liquid.  He held it carefully turned and leaned wit his back against the bar.  It was quiet in the lounge, where the hell was everyone he thought?

  She stared blankly at the wall blissfully un aware of anything but answering the questions being asked.

   Then she saw Max smiling at her warming. It was infectious and brought a sense of relief when he told her she and the others had done a great job before dismissing her.

  She found the message to meet Kaarle and quickly went and changed into less formal attire.

   She spritzed herself with a rosepetal spray before placing her familar leather form fitting harness. She then threw on a short dark blue skirt along with one of her tight sleeveless shirts. She add a touch of light make up with red lipstick to enhance her smile. Slipping her feet into a pair of black slip on she got when the group spent the day on the MA.

   She made a quick stop at the quarters of one of her vertech maintenance crew. Briefly talking to the young woman who was technically two years older than herself. The young lady smiled at Michelle and nodded her head slightly skeptically. Taking the offered by Michelle.

  Michelle skip excitedly to the officers lounge. She smiled as soon as she saw his face. Her steps slow and purposeful as she made her way to sit beside.

"May i sit and join you sir." she asked him with a soft submissive tone. Waiting for his ok. Before taking her place beside him. Whispering into his ear:  She says with the most sensual tone she could. Looking as innocent as possible.

   Thirteen feels a relaxed as a soft feminine voice ask him question. It is distant and he cannot remember what is asked or even his replies. Only that when he becomes fully aware again. Lt. Cmdr Fell is standing in front of him in her office.

"Thank you for your cooperation Sargent. would you like a cookie?" she lifts a plate of freshly baked chocolate chips which smell good after weeks of MREs. "Aravae debriefing should be finishing up as well. You are dismissed and may enjoy the rest of your R&R Sargent. "


  Once Thirteen leave. Lt. Cmdr Fell repeats the process with Skyrah.

Kaarle smiled.  "Of course you may" he said as he guided her by the hand to a seat next him.  Her scent was certainly intoxicating as he caught the hint rose petal in the air about her.  He couldn't help but think that he had the best looking gal on the ship by his side right now and wondered if it made some of other men jealous.  The thought a amused him cause he was almost certain they were from the the looks she garnered and the hushed whispers whenever they rounded a corner together.  He didn't pay it no mind since it was to be expected.

As she leaned in to whisper in his ear his he brought the glass of vodka to his lips taking a sip.  "Should be fun" was all he would say as he turned and sat down beside her.  He got the bartenders attention once more this time so that they could serve Michelle as needed.

He looked over at her and all his thoughts about work had drifted away.  Even Cerise' presence at the other table had been forgotten for the time being as he stared at her.  "Figured we could have some dinner and maybe catch a movie, unless you have some other ideas?" he said to her taking another sip.

  Cerise find the Praxian women she is sitting near her speaking with vigor and excitement as they relive some far off battle.

  The womens gesture with thier bodies as much as their words to emphasize thier points.

   They pleasantly smile at her whenever they glace her way. But they never stop the conversation.

Kaarle, with his drink in one hand, took Michelle by the other leading her off to their dinner date and movie.  It still surprised him how quiet things were throughout the night, but as time moved on things got busier and others filed into the lounge as expected.  He had hoped to see others from his team, if for no other reason but to be reassured they were doing well, but was content to just enjoy his dates company and the quiet time together they got to have.

  A frazzled Miriana enters the officers club. Her usually perfect uniform is in disarray, even her hair which normally is pulled back into a tight ponytail, has lose strands hanging free.

   Its clear that she is out of place here. But a pure look of relief washes over her as she sees Kaarle with Michelle. Till she. Realizes they are doing the coupling thing.  When she sees Cerise sitting near Some Praxian she quickly makes her way to her table.

   "May i join your table ma'am?" her eyes pleading for permission to sit.

Thirteen looks a bit puzzled by the voice he heard and then the offer of a cookie. He wondered just what he had said in the debriefing.

"Oh... yes. Thank you Lt. Commander." He said and took a cookie which he ate after politely making his exit.

In many ways things were so much easier when he was simply going from mission to mission. He knew he had to continue on this path though. It was harder but so much more rewarding. He decided to wait for Avarae to be finished her debriefing.

A true Gentlemen.

  She thought about doing the same old small talk. But decided against it since they were finally off duty and allowed to let thier hair down. She decided on teasing him instead.  She leans forward and speaks playfully soft; "Master, your surprise is eager to play. but you should know its not like me." finishing with her hands curled up next to her cheeks like the girls in the old Japanese anime shows.

... he shrugged at karma, not paying attention to what she had said. And didn't even notice when she came back, let alone leave again, except for when the door shut. He looked up suddenly and yelled "dont slam the door!"

He went back to his book for a brief second then decided he wanted to go do some training and made his way to the gym.

"That is odd. What did they ask you? I must admit I was not paying much attention to what I was asked. I kept hearing a female voice in my head. It is like I was being asked something but I don't recall the question or my reply."

  - Thirteen and Aravae find themselves sitting on the observation deck. Its quite, with minimal foot traffic. She tells him that thier questions were about her feelings on different aspects of thier mission. And of a dark premonition. She looks about over her shouldrs and tells him that something really bad is gonna happen. But she is not sure what it is.


 - Cerise and Miriana fid the Praxian are indeed reliving thier deeds of heroism throughout the sentinels campaign. By the time they concluded, the battle for Optera was won because of thier deeds.

  - Kaarle and Michelle enjoy thier pleasant dinner.

  Mirage and Karma find it easy to get to the Marcus Antonius via transport Beta which shuttle personnel about. The club is basically a nice bar with a decent size stage for bands. They let Mirage play a set on stage and a few patron take seat at tables in the front listen to her while they dine. Its still early in the evening.

   - Silas finds himself at the gym with only a couple others a couple guys and gals all focusing on thier own workouts.

  -All others make thier way to thier bunks to enjoy some peace and quite.

Cerise keeps an eye on Miriana while they socialize with the Praxians. If, after at least oen story has been shared, she still seems completely withdrawn and/or miserable, she'll make the excuse that the morning is coming early and let Miriana escape. If that this the case, Cerise will send a message to let LTC Fell know what happened, as well as ask if she has any ideas for alternate ways to accomplish the LTC's goals with regard to Miriana relaxing.
On the other hand, if Miriana seems to be neutral or enjoying herself, Cerise primarily observes, joining into the conversation only to be polite or if she becomes the focus. Don't want to ruin a good thing.

Miriana does not drink anything stronger than a coke. but something about the way the warrior women speak brings back distant memories of her own. though she was not part of the Optera operation she had lived through battles and enjoyed them like any true Zentraedi.   however she did not have the words to express herself like these two before her. she giggles at the right time and naturally tenses with the stories moments og valor as if fighting her own insticts to jump up to relive the battle.

  Karma claps when Mirage's set over. There are several shots on the table in front of each of thier spots.

  "I hope you dont mind. I figured a drink to fallen comrades. And our safe return were in order. and the third is just to get us loose to hit the dance floor.

  She points to a small group of guys at the bar staring at you two.

"I know you and Joker have been flirting.  but this is just to dance. nothing more."

Mirage sets her guitar case down by their table, her ears almost glowing red at the compliment.

She gains some composure, looking at the shots.

"You sure it is OK for me to drink?" she says as she slides into a seat.

She starts blushing again, and one of her long ears twitch as well, apparently her 'nervous tic'.

Moments like this were rare times when Thirteen fell truly at peace. Looking out to space with Amadar, not even the threat of danger could distress him. Still, there was one thing still in his mind.

Thirteen's instincts kicked in that there was someone with them. He subtly glanced to the side and noticed that Sillia was there. He turned towards her gently, as to not give Avarae a surprise.

"Hello." He said simply. He would usually give simple greetings but this one had the element of warmth that would usually accompany those he was close to.

Mirage doesn't talk to the men, just smiles and lets Karma do the talking.  She seems to be much looser, and enjoying herself.

  Ok so Ill run Karma and Sillia and Aravae from here.


  Mirage - It becomes early evening and Karma grabs you by the arm and tells you that both of you are going shopping for some actual dresses. and fun cloths before the shops close.


   Thirteen - Sillia looks at you cockeyed to your reply of a cookie. "Ok you two. Its time for chow and then and then maybe some type of family game."

   Aravae smiles and agrees as long as you join in the fun too.

Thirteen gives Sillia a puzzled look.

"A family game? You want to do a military exercise with Avarae?" Games might have been something he did in the past but he did not have much memory of that now, just like his memories of family.

She had worked off a good bit of the alcohol and was just "friendly" now.

At the shop she appears to go for colorful and frilly... which seems odd.

Mirage add whatever you need to possession and ill deduct it from your credits.


  Thirteen Aravea, Sillia and Xavier teach you how to play jango, monopoly, and several games from thier world. It is a great time. Some of the other crew members watch and two of the other Gks  join in for the monopoly game. And watch as you are thought the Guardia games.

  When you are done Aravae takes you by the hand and leads you two back to you general quartwrs. Before she slips into her bunk she smiles and thanks you for hanging out with her. Then she slips the pressurized glass in place and filters her bunk with gas so she can breathe without her rebreather.

  In the morning you and the others wake to Korvan telling you all to get a move on. Meeting in one hour.

Thirteen has a severe case of overthinking each and every game. However, he does appreciate the lack of life and death situations in these particular games. Thirteen nods to Avarae and thanks her for sharing the games. After helping her into her chamber he takes a shower and goes to sleep as well.
