Time Line for the Robotech Universe
Year:
1999 (July) – *SDF-01 crash-lands on the island of Macross in the south
Pacific.
*The Nations of the world who are engaged in a Goble civil
war
2009 (Feb.) – *Celebrations for SDF-1 maiden voyage commence on
Macross Island
*Commander Breeti’s fleet arrives near lunar orbit.
*A malfunction of the SDF-1 folds system delivers them
in orbit of Pluto with the Island of Macross.
*The first Robotech War begins.
2011 (April) – *The Zentraedi Main force of nearly four million ships
including Dolza’s
Flagship, lay waste to the earth. Causing 70% of the
earth surface to be destroyed by the Zentraedi attack
that becomes known as the Rain of Death.
*The First Robotech War is Officially over.
2012 (Jan.) – *The United Earth Government is reestablished.
*Reconstruction efforts formally begin.
2012 (Oct) – *The first child of a human and Zentraedi parents is born.

2013 (May) – *The Robotech Masters begin the voyage that will bring
them to the earth.
2013 (June) – *The Robotech Factory is capture and brought successfully
back to earth.
2014 (Jan.) – *Khyron is killed in his final attack of the SDF-1 in New
Macross city
destroying the SDF-1 and 2, as well as himself in a suicide
attack.
2015 – *The Construction of the Expeditionary forces continues in
preparation for the mission to find the home world of the
Robotech Masters.
2016 – *Preliminary navigational surveys are conducted with long range
advance scout vessels, laying down the ground work for the main
Expeditionary Force.
2017 – *The Malcontent uprising is at an all-time high, in the Zentraedi Control
zones in south America and Africa.
* The Invid now completely occupy Garuda, Praxis, Karbarra, and Spheris.
2022 –(Dec.)– *The SDF-3 leads the Pioneer Mission to the Robotech
Masters home World.
2022 (Sep) –*Lynn Minmei celebrity pop singer is confirmed to be
missing and believed and to be aboard the SDF – 3.
(Survivor from the assault on Reflex confirms this.)
*The Robotech Factory folds to Tirol to rendezvous with the
UEEF.
2023 (Feb.) – *The first human Colony is established, the planet is named Eden. A
science/engineering team known as Nerv establish a top-secret R&D
(research and develop) base is established and given access to all
resources at the UEEF disposal. A small garrison of ASC troops and a
UEEF patrol fleet is left behind to protect the NERV research
center.
2025 – * The Invid Invade Tirol, The Regent leaves a occupation force behind once
he learns of the Robotech Masters Decision to leave their home world
behind, to pacify the Tirolians. The Tirolian Partisan resistance is
fighting a losing battle. The Invid Regess leaves Optera in disgust of the
Invid Regent and heads off the Praxis to continue her work in evolution.
2025 (April) – *The second human Colony is established called Tau Ceti. The UEEF
leave a small ASC garrison to defend the Planet.
2025 – * The SDF–3 and the UEEF fleet arrive in Fantom orbit and attack
immediately by the Invid who mistake them for their hated enemy the
Robotech Master. The UEEF begin combat operations to liberate Tirol from
the Invid.
* General T.R. Edwards and his Ghost Squadron capture and secure the Invid
Brain in the Royal Hall Tiresia, the capital city.
* The UEEF meets the Sentinel Races, after some diplomatic discussions
agreements and alliance treaties are stuck in exchange for the UEEF help
in liberating their home worlds from the Invid.
* On Earth, Senator Wyatt Moran and the Commander of the Army of the
Southern Cross consolidate their power and take control of the Supreme
Council.
2026 – * The UEEF and Sentinel Forces liberate Karbarra.
* The Invid Regess leave Praxis, taking the entire Praxian population with
her for Haydon IV.
* General T.R. Edwards is beginning to pull sway in the Plenipotentiary
council. He is given authority of the Fantom mining operation
* The UEEF and Sentinel forces are stranded and rescued from Praxis in the
nick of time, as Praxis is destroyed from the failed Genesis Experiments
carried out by the Regess.
* The UEEF and Sentinels Liberate Garuda.
2027 – * The UEEF and Sentinels arrive and with Diplomacy Liberate Haydon IV, Rem
(the clone of Zor) secretly meets with the Haydon awareness in the heart of
the Artificial world of Haydon IV. The Invid Regess leaves Haydon IV leaving
the Praxian population behind, it is believed she has left the star system.
The Haydonites prove to be strong allies and begin to help refit the UEEF
fleet technology.
* A Prototype Ship under the command of Major Carpenter leaves Tirol for
earth.
* General T.R. Edwards loses his grip on the Plenipotentiary council, when
his plots are discovered. With the aid of the Invid Regent, Edward flees
Tirol along with his Ghost Raiders and Ghost Squadron in the Icarus. Taking
Lynn-Minimei and the captured Invid Brain with them. In his escape he
manages to severely damage the SDF–3, Admiral Lisa Hayes Hunter is injured
and loses her pregnancy.
* The UEEF and Sentinels liberate Spheris from the Invid.
2028 – * Colonel Johnathan Wolfe is given command of a ship sent to earth, to help
organize planetary defense of the possible Invid threat.
* The Expedition Battleship Tokugawa Under the command Vince Grant give chase
of Edwards and finally meet him and the Invid Regent. General Breetai and The
Invid Regent lock in hand to hand combat. In this battle over Optera, General
Edwards Betrays the Invid Regent Killing Both The Regent and General Breetai
while destroying the UES Tokugawa. Edwards takes command of the Regents
Forces, takes the survivors of the Tokugawa prisoner.
* The UEEF and the Sentinels are able to Liberate Preyton. A science team is
keep in orbit trying to figure out the Preyton Curse.
2029 (Jan.) – * The Robotech Masters arrive and the second Robotech War begins. A
vital satellite is destroyed and communication with the UEEF is
completely lost.
* Dana Sterling and Bowie Grant turn 17 and graduate from the Academy
and are assigned to the 15th Alpha Tactical Armored Corps.
* The Battle for Optera is takes place and after many losses, General
Edwards is defeated. The remaining members of Ghost Squadron and Ghost
Raiders and taken Prisoner and tried as traitors.
* The Karbarrans orbital ship yards are refitted to assist with the
construction of the new UEEF fleet.
* Dr. Lang vital a series of discoveries including the time distortion
flaws of the first generation of Fold-drives.
* Dr. Lang’s team Develop an integrated system of body armor and the
re-configurable Cycles known as Cyclones.
2030 (June) – *The Robotech Masters are defeated bringing an end of the
second Robotech war.
*The Flower of life spores are released and begin to spread
like wild fire.
2030 (July) – * The Second Robotech war comes to an end with the destruction of the
Masters Mothership over the remains of the SDF–1, releasing the Invid
flower of life spores into the earth’s atmosphere. The Invid Flower of
Life takes root. A nebula sensor Alerts the Invid Regess.
*Colonel Jonathan Wolfe arrives at earth to warn them of
the Invid threat. The United Earth Government Siege his
ship in orbit where it is dock.
*The Captured Robotech Factory returns to earth to help
with building a fleet for the expect Invid invasion. Its
fold engines are destroyed.
2031 – * There is no sign of the Regess and the only remnants of the Invid are some
Inorganics, Independent Invid scientist and whatever few Invid that followed
and the abandon genesis pit left behind.
* Optera is reseeded with the Invid Flower of Life along with many other
foliage and animals and given to the Praxians in reparations for the loss of
their own home world at the hands of the Invid. Optera is Renamed Praxis
II.
*The Third Robotech War begins as the Invid arrive on Earth in an
event known afterwards as the Invid Invasion. The battered and
beleaguered forces of the Army of the Southern Cross are
completely destroyed and Earth falls quickly to the alien onslaught
*The Robotech Factory is one of the first targets destroyed by the
Invid. Space Station Liberty is able to fold to deep space thanks
to the warning by the doomed Robotech Factory and joins up with
the UEEF.
*Many major Earth population centers are destroyed, while
others are simply abandoned. Invid occupation and Protoculture
harvesting begins. Anti-Invid groups are eventually formed, but
struggle as the Invid cultivate collaborators to suppress the
resistance networks.
* Commander Dana Sterling and the remainder of the 15 ATAC take
command of Johnathan Wolfe's Garfish and begin their journey to Tirol
with the surviving clones from the Robotech Master, as well as some
of the other survivors of the ASC Leaving Louie Nichols at Liberty
Space Station.
2038 (Sep) – *The Robotech Expeditionary force Launches its first large
scale attack on Reflex Point. The attack fails miserably
resulting in heavy losses for the REF 10th Mars Division.
2039 (Jan.) – It is decided that a new Destroyer Class Vessel be
designed and Built. A handful of designs are drawn up by
the Robotech Engineers.
2042 (Sep.) – *The 21st Mars Division attacks the earth, which is
intercepted by the Invid and destroyed. Lieutenant
Commander Scott Bernard is among the few survivors of
that ill fated invasion.
2043 (April) – *The first Stage five Invid is created (Ariel)
2044 (February) – *The second of the Chimera Class Destroyer is finished
and is Named the Gambit at space station Freedom. She is
Captain by Capt. Jack Grim.
2044 (March) – * UES Gambit and its escort fleet is assigned to protect
the UES NERV Garfish Science Class who is field testing
several new mecha, and expermental weapons, while
investigating a rumor of a habitable planet for a new colony,
in the Unicron Sector.

2044 (July) – *The Main body of the REF fleet assembles at Aluce at the
edge of the far side of the moon.
*REF ground troops and resistance fighter assemble for the
assault on Reflex Point.
*The final battle at reflex point ends with the Invid Regis
leaving the world and destroying the Neutron S missiles.
*The Haydonite betrayal is discovered and begins the
Haydon war.
2044 (Aug.) – *The Arch Angel under the command of Vince Grant begins
his searching for the SDF-3.
