Here's a place where people can advertise their own games, or the games where they're a player and could use more players.

A while ago I joined a freeform game called "Happily Never After", that had a similar idea to "Once Upon A Time" and those kind of shows, where people from an Earth town would find themselves combining somehow with an archetype from Fairy Tales.  The manner of the combination was up to the player and GM to work out, and we've got a few different variations.

The GM had a severe attack of Real Life and was gone for a few months, and wants to start again, and needs some new players, as only a couple have checked in.

     I'm thinking of starting a D20/free-form Star Trek game.  Experimental ship, intrepid crew, mysterious anomalies.

     Characters will play the bridge crew and department heads, with small groups of crewmen at their disposal.

     Literally just came up with this 10 minutes ago, so I'm open to discussion.

     PM me if you're interested in helping to develop it or to join in!

I want to DM again, starting at a modest posting rate.

The game will start very simple, and will be 2-3 posts per week at start. I would like to move this up to 4+ at some point. The system is 3.5, and players will begin at 2nd level, but the plan is to up through to 4th rather quickly. (Quickly, as in everyone begins with negative levels due to story reasons and quickly recovers them.)

The world is semi-low magic (though there's no limitation on PCs).


I've been playing 3.5, DMing and playing, for years and years. I want quality players who want to interact with a world and go through a story together.

Rez is a GM with a well earned reputation for being very...fussy.
He has a tendency to lose his temper at the drop of a hat, and ban players, or lash out at anyone who questions his game.

Ah yes, Rez. Never played in a game with him as a GM but did have him as a player in one of mine and he wasn't fussy - that's too polite a way to describe the misery he caused, the demands he made and the players I lost because of him. Then he rage-quit but the game was already dying by then having lost a number of core players who were irreplaceable to the campaign.

Had him as a GM in 6 games. I'm too polite to say anything about the...experience, but when you encounter Xander Xalus, that's our Rez....
