Posting Schedule

Just for the record, my posting schedule is a bit odd.

I work a weird schedule, I have an eight work schedule, where I work for four days, 12 hours a day, then have four days off.
Also, I'm a player in enough games that I don't really have time to update all the games I'm running on the days I'm working.
And I usually only update once a day on the games I'm off.   Sometimes I manage to post as a DM more than once a day, but sometimes Real Life rears its ugly head and I get distracted.

When I'm off work, I tend to update my games at least once a day.   With a new game or new players, I'll try to update more often.
When I'm working, I'm usually pressed for time and don't usually work on the games I run.  Again, I might make an exception for a new game, at least until it really gets going.

That being said, I'll try to update as often as I can.  I would love to have everyone post every day that I can, but I don't demand it.  If people can only post a couple times a week, that's fine.
I'll prod someone with a PM after a week or so, but usually won't kick someone out until someone is absent for a month or more.
If anyone has a problem, they can talk to me, of course.

Re: Posting Schedule

I'm looking back at my last couple of posts in this thread, and can see that I was a little vague  in my "times available".    I've got a weird work schedule, and sometimes can't really describe it very well.
I'll try to be more specific.  *smiles*  Wish me luck.

Okay, it's like this, see.....

I have an eight day work cycle.   I work four days in a row, and work from 6PM Central Standard Time (I'm in Texas) to 6AM.  Then, I have four days off.

On the days I'm off, I'm online quite a bit, and can post and update frequently.  I'm also in a LOT of games here, but I feel inspired by this game, so plan to give it a lot of attention if I can.

On the days I'm working, I have trouble keeping up with my gaming and still have enough time to sleep, so I have put a moritorium on running any games.  That means that I don't update any game I'm the DM of.
That being said, I'll still try to update this one, if I can and if it needs it.
On the days I'm working, I get home about 6:30 AM CST, and usually play online for an hour or so, mostly updating the games I play in.
I wake up about 3AM CST, and can sometimes, depending on what I have to do, stay on the computer for about an hour, doing more updating, until I leave for work for the evening.

Because I have an eight day work cycle, my days off are constantly changing by "moving one day to the right".  That means that this cycle I had Saturday through Tuesday off, and return to work on Wednesday, and will be off again on Sunday night, staying off work until the following Wednesday.

Yes, it's confusing, and I sometimes lose track of it myself.   :)
