"Most unsettling of all is that since his disappearance someone matching his description has been seen in the company of some unsavory creatures on more than one occasion.  Gnolls one time, tieflings another.  Between that, the witness accounts that he didn't look held against his will, the lack of ransom demands, and reports of a new gnoll clan appearing around the same time he disappeared...  I'm beginning to suspect he is plotting against the brotherhood.

Mittens laughs at the exchange between Superbird and Terdisas.  Kitau's attention is caught by Dido, but again she makes no comment.

"Mmm," the masked mage answers Callie, "I suppose time will tell if my guesses prove to be accurate, but the fact that the Seven Pillared Hall lacks an established church or written law.  Or the choice of Brugg as peacekeeper."

"Good points," Jake says, "Now that I think of it, I seriously doubt that the badguys have the resources for an extended search, much less do they consider a few lost kids worth the effort.  Probably best for the kids to just lay low somewhere in the city for a day or two.  After that the search will likely be given up."

"Feel free to share, Eli," Lucky answers, purring and smiling at Shina, "If you'd rather not, I can make one up."

Gale was expecting both the Gnome king and the Fairy Queen to be in the know.  Perhaps he was.  It was rather surprising how readily he accepted the news as true.  But this fact is a useful bargaining chip.

"I'm flattered you would suggest our humble efforts may have a signifigant impact for the better on future events," Gale answers with a bow, "Of course it is our hope that things turn out for the best for everyone, both those of the Feywild and those who live in the Prime Material.  I wouldn't be at all surprised if you had been told of the prophesy, or if you hadn't - given what happened to Quelenna's family.  As Hoal pointed out, our primary concern is simply for the safety of all people.  Fey or otherwise.  If you already knew of the prophesy, now you know that the Gnome King and ___ also know.  If our sharing this news with you in some small way makes you even slightly more prepared, our simple peaceful mission will be accomplished."

Back in town Pyrus nods to Sora, takes a deep breath, and bellows at the top of his lungs, "People of ___!  Let it be known that this is the sole surviving goblin of a failed plot perpetrated by the devious and cowardly Tieflings ___ and ___!  The father asked us to..."

Lucky gives Tinker a smile and nods.  "Fair trade works.  I enjoy the company anyhow.  I sing and play a little guitar, but I coubt I'd be able to keep up well enough to jam.  Worth a shot, though."

He brightens up at the arrival of Zebroia and comments to Guide Star "One exotic beauty deserves another it seems.  I'm sure she's more than capable of handling herself, sis..." he turns and smiles at Zebroia, "...but if you'd like the company we can accommodate."

Lucky eye-twitches at Robe's disregard for his own health and leans over to Cloud Song to whisper something to him.

"Tinker makes a great point," he says to Robe.
