I bought a book on how to make chinese food

and it's all nice and so, except it's made for a... not finnish kitchen

they tell one how to use gas-stoves and specially rounded woks

and we don't use gas, at all

we have stoves that is electricity based, and flat, one can't put anything rounded on them

Re: Nuric's Room

We used to have a wok, but I lost it when  we moved to Texas.   Still, you can make some of the basics with a big frying pan, if you keep thing moving.   I make something for my lady, with sliced veggie sausage, pea pods, and sliced carrots, along side buttery noodles, that she really likes.
Sometimes it's good to improvise.   :)

I have a wok, it's just a teflon wok, so I can't be heated to the extremes, like they want

need to find a wok or frying pan made from iron

Yes, cast iron works best, I've been told, but we have a steel pan that's non stick, and works very well.

oh, steel can also stand as much heat as cast-iron?

cause it would be terrible if the pan died

Cast iron is probably better,  though I'm no expert.

I spent much of December and January sick, but for something much less serious.
But, still, I understand what you mean.  :)

I hope your health improves, and this surgery works out for you.

Re: Nuric's Room

all I did was reduce the size of my breast

so my back wouldn't hurt anymore, and my knees wouldn't hurt and I could hug someone else without them feeling pain.

so far it's worked as I hoped, my posture has improved, my knees are pain-free and my back only ache cause of the wound that won't heal

Sleeping on the back constantly isn't relaxing...

*chuckles*  When I was younger, a lot of guys I know thought that was a nearly blasphemous thing to do, for a woman to reduce the sides of her breasts.

As an adult, I know far too many women who have back and knee pain from their bust size.
Please take care of yourself.

Re: Nuric's Room

I've met a doctor that actually told me, and I quote: "Why would you want to reduce those, they are the perfect size for any man?"

I got so shocked I didn't even scream at him for telling me that my pain and life doesn't matter... Not as long as I can catch a man..

I still want to strangle that doctor thought

I wish I knew where he was, he was one of those there to practice to become a doctor, doctor, so now he is somewhere else being an ass off a doctor

I've had loads of lady nurses tell me that I look marvelous, and then they drop their jaw when they read how much was removed and say "holy cow, how did you walk?"

1,7kg of breast tissue if you wondered... I should be a normal C-cup now, if the swelling ever subsides...

Re: Nuric's Room

Yes, huge breasts are a common male fantasy.  Emphasis on "fantasy".  :)

We tend to lose track of reality when we get crazy and obsessed with women's bodies, I'm afraid.
I hope things improve.

Re: Nuric's Room

fantasy is all good and well, but when it makes a person in a professional capacity spit out frogs like that...

anyway, I fantasize about the oddest men myself, but I don't expect anyone to ever meet that fantasy, it'd be like meeting bilbo baggins in the street, never gonna happen

I am positive things will improve, so far my knees doesn't hurt, my posture has improved majorly, but sadly, my back muscles ache, as I can't stretch as I should, but that is the wounds fault, nothing else

sleeping on back all night... isn't comfortable

As long as everything improves eventually, it's all good.   Small steps are fine.  :)

Yes, many of us men grew up with many of our dream girls being busty to the point of being top heavy.   Comic books provided more and a few bad popular examples, like Wonder Woman and Power Girl, whom I love but were obviously drawn by horny men.

I'm in a game where people write various short stories as various kinds of characters, and a few were females with an over abundance of bosoms.  One of the female players, who was also very buxom, laughed at us for having no clue what that "fantasy" was actually like.

Re: Nuric's Room

I've played vampires with overly large bosoms, only species that would be strong enough for it to not really matter

But I still had them have a hard time finding clothes that fit, but then they had them specially made as soon they amassed money

My dad has been a pain in the ass about all this, as when I told him they removed 1,7 kg of breast-tissue, he said "I carry bricks heavier than that every day"

and I snapped back "Glued to your chest for 12 years?"

carrying a brick is heavy yes, but carrying a brick and having a brick glued to your chest at the same time...

anyway, all my clothes are too big now, I need to buy a whole new set of clothes, and those that is big enough, have these odd... Stretched out and ruined parts, where there used to be huge boobs

So pooh... I hadn't thought I'd need to do that too, some yes, but almost all, basically just pants can be kept

Re: Nuric's Room

*smiles*  Think of buying new clothes for this much like you would think about buying new clothes after a successful diet:  It's a pain, but worth it for the results.

I'd happily buy a whole new wardrobe if I could lose some weight.  Still, I know that shopping isn't something you want to deal with right now.

Yes, you're right, your father is being a doofus about your situation.
If he put on a collar that weighed over 3 Kg, and had to walk around for a day, he'd be straining and swearing like a sailor by sunset.

It's a bit like doing very simple exercises.  If you raise your arms up, then put them down, it doesn't seem like you've even accomplished anything at all.
However, if you do that 100 times, you're straining and sweating by 70 or so, as if you're trying to life another person over your head.
Your father fails to realize that there's a serious difference between lifting something once and holding it up all day.  :)

Re: Nuric's Room

I have come to the realization that my father won't be the only one that will have a problem with this

the surgeon did not understand why my shoulder muscles locked up, and he is supposed to have done hundreds upon hundreds of these surgeries, but he has never seen anyone that close after the procedure... they weren't supposed to check on my progress until 3 months later, and I came in bleeding after 15 days, and my shoulder muscles was locked up from trying to carry weight that was no longer there

and he said "you're young, you should be able to lift hands above head"

it's hard to do normal things when ones muscles are cramping and locked up tight thought....

anyway, I can lift one arm above head now :D The healed side is perfect, the open wound side, not allowed to even try, every time I lift that arm too high, I rip things open again, so I walk around rather curiously, one arm swinging like normal, other arm, moving a little more careful, to still try to keep shoulder mobile, or it will lock up totally

I already have knots so tight I have no feeling in them, so no more of those would be nice

Re: Nuric's Room

It almost sounds like your shoulder blades were damaged from years of having that weight.  Sounds like you might need physical therapy to get them back to normal.

A serious pain, but worth the effort.

Re: Nuric's Room

I know they were, I know I need physical therapy, I had planned to be in physical therapy about now, if everything had healed correctly

I remember the pain of carrying a back pack to school and in school for a few hours, and how much the muscles hurt from removing it over the weekends, and I've had the breast for over 10 years.. I think it's maybe 12 or so, this size I mean

removing them was bound to make shit hurt, and ache.

Sadly my doctor is a male, and he sees my age, and nothing else, he doesn't realize he removed 1,7kg of weight, that I had been carrying no matter what.

my dad doesn't understand, he still says: I carry that amount double every day

the thing is, he carries it yes, but he can put it down, I carried it and more, as the breast are sort of stuck to the body, and then carry more stuff to add on. I used to see I was weak, now I see I was strong, I carried this and more, not really complaining, except when back hurt

*smiles*  If I wanted to be mean, I'd suggest gluing two bricks to your dad's chest while he slept.  We'd see how long he enjoyed it.  :)

Yes, many times male doctors don't understand the subtle things about being a woman.   They know the general mechanics, but not the everyday things that come with the territory.

Re: Nuric's Room

I actually planned to do just that.. just to fuck with him, but sadly, I couldn't find any bricks

they are all at his work, many many miles away

why men don't see the every day happenings or women, or even know of them, is all how we are taught. Women are just these pretty things that aren't supposed to do anything, and if they happen to like to do stuff, suddenly they are called tomboys

why can't a girl be just as active and like to pick things apart, figure out how they work, as boys likes to do?

I dislike tomboy, the word, it turns a woman into, not a woman, as in their gender isn't right for wanting to change a tire and figure out how to build something. This also entails dressing in a comfy way, so that if they wanna go out in the field to check something, the clothes won't get dirty

yeah, I am one of those tomboys, know a lot of practical stuff, only dress nice and feminine when I feel like it, I don't need to hide behind high heels and make-up to feel strong, to know who I am

Yes, there's been an undercurrent of sexism and misogyny in many cultures for as long as there's been civilization.
In American culture, we sometimes pretend that we're better than most of the world, and perhaps we are in many of the glaringly obvious ways, but women in our entertainment culture and many other venues are still viewed as trophies to be won by men, or as a goal men need to achieve, rather than a person with their own place in the world independent of men.
Things, like other forms of oppression, are getting better, but slowly.
