I find that caffeine can help modify a sleep schedule, as well.  Or lack of it.
Though not everything works for everyone.

it's ridiculous, I awoke and was so bushy tailed at 10AM, but as I knew I'd have nothing to do, I went back to sleep, and awoke at 4PM

Less time to be bored in

Sadly more head-ache...

I don't have any good advice, just to say that if you're up at 10am, it's good to force yourself to get outside at least, and away from your bed.   A good walk can be very invigorating.

So I went to bed at 9PM

then I awoke at 2AM

Now I can't sleep

it snowed outside so it's too cold to go out

I'll be online to make time pass til it's warmer, then go out :)

Sorry, Real Life has been rough on me lately.   Not too difficult, but tiring.

yeah, I know how it is

I sleep on the wrong times, as I'm so bored

and not able to do anything without my parents always asking what I'm doing, and why I'm doing something

if I feel like tapdancing in a tutu, then I'm gonna tapdance with a tut...

and no, I don't knwo why I want to do so, and explaining it, isn't possible

Re: Nuric's Room

Living with ones parents as an adult is very frustrating.   I've been lucky enough not to have to do it after graduation, but my brother lived with our parents for a few years after he graduated technical college, moving out when he was 27.   Parents still treat an adult child like they were still a little kid, and it can be infuriating.

There are ways of regulating our sleep schedule, but you probably know them as well as I do.  So I won't bore you with a list.  :)

Re: Nuric's Room

What also bugs me, is the fact that I can't sit by myself and think, or read a book

without one or both parents checking in, to see if I'm okay

I'm a little of an introvert, can get extrovert boasts, but really, I like being me, myself and I

and well, parents see it as a symptom of, depression

yes, I have some sleep regulation tricks and so, it's just, so boring to be awake

Re: Nuric's Room

My father used to complain about how I spent all day in my room, reading or listening to music.  He probably thought I was "a weird kid".   He was right, but it wasn't as bad as he feared.

Parents can be a bit old fashioned and have trouble understanding us eccentric folks.  :)

I hope you can put up with them.

meah, when I tell them to leave me alone they do

and I do understand that some of the checking up on me is them being bored too, and there is a young energetic child in the house... hahahahaha

I'm not energetic

can't even go on daily walks cause I don't have a sports-bra currently

I ordered one in august...

*sigh*

Sorry to hear about the walking.   Not to be too forward or inappropriate, but perhaps you could use some ACE bandages or something similar to "bind your chest" so it wouldn't be too uncomfortable to walk around?

Re: Nuric's Room

hmmm....

Could try it, will need to buy that then, this household doesn't have any proper first-aid bag

I used to have a very well stocked one, but my sister has it, and... she has sort of used up most of what it contained

will need to buy her a new one, with triple the amount I had, so she has her own, and can replace the stuff she used from my bag

Cause I went to nursing school, I know what needs to be there, not a nurse thought, only know how to clean wounds, give CPR, give shots and how to restart a heart using paddles

I wish you luck in restocking your supplies.    We don't use up too many supplies here, but I restock every year on our annual camping trip.

Re: Nuric's Room

I know where to go to get the supplies, I'm a person that jokingly says I can find anything, not under deadline, but I can find anything

I've found stuff that has been discontinued for 20 years, cause my dad wanted it

I've found stuff sold in Africa, cause I know where to look for immigrant stores (some of them have a small supply of genuine stuff)

and when I can't find it by walking, I look on the internet, so basically, finding everything isn't anything new really...

We've got a variety of stores, here too.  From the warehouse grocery stores to military surplus stores to upscale boutiques.   Lots of cool stuff sometimes.

Re: Nuric's Room

I feel so sad, I can't eat any milk, it feels so painful when I happen to get milk in me

and for some odd reason, all the tastiest looking stuff always have milk in them, so I can only eat vegan when I'm in restaurants

or on a plane

so sometimes, I learn to cook foods, so I can taste them, and as I've never tasted the original, they taste amazing to me :)

Re: Nuric's Room

eating vegan or vegetarian can be very challenging, since the rest of the world thinks nothing of putting meat or dairy products into everything under the sun.

But eating new things is all part of travel.  It's almost the main reason to travel.  *grins*  I'd love to taste more exotic foods as well.

I don't think that I'd be able to stick with a vegan diet.  I love meat too much.

Have you tried coconut milk?

Re: Nuric's Room

Almond milk is really good, especially on cereal.  :)
But we drink Soy milk all the time and like it (though, I've never been one to "drink a glass of milk", even when I drank regular milk).

Lots of Asian food, like Chinese and Indian, is a good way to avoid dairy, if memory serves.  But I know what you mean about how hard it is to avoid them.
