Basically, I think the dive team is climbing up on the ship's chain to survive the demo charge, while the team on the island will be exiting the hidden entrance within the enemy camp.

I think the plan was that that even if the demo charge blows off the rudder, Ralph and Flash would stil clear the ship?

Cool, and that makes sense. The demo charge will certainly toast the rudder, but if left to their own devices the crew might still be able to save the ship. So clearing the ship or at least neutralising the crew is a good idea.

A note on "Aiming". If you take an initial Aim action you are considered to be properly bracing your weapon, using the sights, etc. and suffer no penalty to fire. You hold your Aim indefinitely (within reason) as long as you don't run, climb, get shot, become distracted, etc. Using telescopic sights naturally requires an initial Aim action, but any movement loses the Aiming benefit. Additional Aim actions give a +10% benefit to hit.

With regards to autofire, machineguns like SMGs, ARs and SAWs (including the Stoner Mk.23) are considered braced (suffer no penalty) if you are using the stock and both hands. Heavier MGs like GPMGs require being supported on at least a bipod or else get an unsupported/hip fire penalty (-20% and no autofire bonus).

NVGs do not allow for using iron or telescopic sights, so while weapons can be initially Aimed (as above) additional Aim actions do not provide a bonus.

Looks like Alpha has completed its initial tasks. It's now up to Bravo to open up on their targets. If you don't have any special preference as to how this is accomplished it's dealer's choice. (Kim has a definite target in mind.) Everyone is assumed at this point to ready weapons, etc.

Be aware most of you have 4 Actions. (All except Lina and El, who have 3.) I'll assume everyone that is shooting takes an Aim action first. Any unused Actions are held until the following turn and can be used to Dodge incoming enemy fire.

El will aim first, target the command center and point out sleeping tents for the warriors to target when throwing their first and second grenades. He'll communicate with Kim to ensure they are not targeting the same place. The goal is to coordinate and hit the most targets with the first round and already have the second salvo pre-determined so all the tents are attacked.

Elliot will mutter, "Death to Krell," as he triggers his first round.

Tim is nominally in charge, so all else being equal I assume everyone waits for the signal on the radio before leveling their targets. At this point everyone is in position!

To reassure you I am also assuming that (at least for now) no one is trying to shoot a 40mm grenade under its safety range of 10m and is also making sure all friendlies are clear before doing so. Once the fight heats up that may change and some Observation checks are in order.

As well, bear in mind that aiming using iron sights (at least on guns) is somewhat hindered if NVGs are in use.

To clarify who's targeting what in Bravo group:

Kim targets the MG nest at north gate with 40mm HE.
El targets the HQ tent in the SE corner with 40mm HE
Leaf targets the Krell quarters, with a couple M26 frag grenades in between the two tents.
Braves target Merc tents with CS due to the proximity of the workers' tents.

The NE and SE corner guard posts (low towers) can be hit in the second round with 40mm HE grenades.

For Alpha:

Tim targets NW guard tower, Lina the SW tower with 40mm HE. Braves stay alert.

Map 5 of the ship has been updated.

‘Push’ entry by point man toward the hinge side of the door while the flank person covers the other side of the room. Whomever is nearest the door we intend to enter takes point for that room, that way we're flexible and don't have to cross each other and risk entanglement.

IF there’s a single door (from the passageway) per room, then the rooms aren’t that big. guessing single berths. IF this is true, then we’re basically checking both sides of the bed and the wardrobe. (Obviously making sure no one is in the bed as well.) IF there’s a connecting door to the next space, then that’s the next step, same procedure. IF they aren’t berths, then search as needed.

Guessing that the rooms will be mostly empty since the downed tango likely roused anyone inside to help with the flooding aft. (But still alert for trouble.)


Doors are single, two on the port side and three on the left. All have the hinges on the forward side. So on the starboard side the hinges are on the left. Then the point man is on the left. Cover on the Right. Cover opens the door, point goes in and clears left (hinge side) while the other covers right (non-hinge side)? Or in this scenario point opens the door, then goes in so no one is crossing a field of fire? (Positions reversed when hinges on right.)

I'll assume Flash is on the left and Ralph on the right, so Flash will be entry for all cabins/rooms on the starboard side (as he is on the hinge side for those) and Ralph for those on the port side of the corridor. Either-or going in with MAC-10s or Suppressed Hi-Powers?

Slight Retcon: the rockets are changed from Armbrusts to M72A2 as the former has a 30m minimum range, opposed to 10m. This makes them hard to use in the confines of the camp, so it's reasonable the other rockets were used.

The following map will also be posted to Group 0.

T = Tim
M = Mahalina
K = Kim
E = El
L = Leaf
B1-4 = Braves

The blue speckles in the south part of the camp are M7A3 CS canisters beginning to dispense. Wind is NW (from the upper left) carrying the tear gas southeast. Big red circles are the lethal fragmentation radius of hand grenades and 40mm HE grenades. Small circle is the blast radius of the M72A3 HEAT warhead. It looks like although the east guard towers did not get directly hit they are getting pelted by fragments!

For the two of us on the ship can we tell that the deck is angling towards the stern? If so how much of an angle (give or take doesn't have to be exact)?

Sorry for my delayed response and thanks for everyone's patience. I've been fighting a persistent leg infection since January. It finally looks like they have me on the right antibiotics and treatment plan but it's been a struggle to maintain any focus.

To clarify, Tim cannot see the shooter's location as the fire is not coming from a tower but from the left guard position on the north edge of the camp. I will assume he takes an action to Move (6m) to where he can engage the target.

Kim and El are reloading and aiming this turn. Technically, we can consider Kim as being crouched down and out of the shooter's LOS, having Dodged last turn. That leaves Malina with enough actions to shoot back, although she would need to take 2 Actions to move into LOS.
