At this point, we're going to do a single team. Therefore, everyone has a freeze date of 1988. If we were making a more composite team then you'd all roll separately.

Sorry for the confusion!

Die Rolls

Originally, I decided on the point buy method for making characters, as this was going to originally be a PBEM game. But this site has a die roller where you can record your rolls.

If you like you can choose to randomly roll for attributes. You get one shot, no rerolls or backsies. This has the potential of randomly giving you a great PC or else a not-so good one.

Do we go straight down the page or can we put the numbers where we want them?

Die Rolls

In reply to Mahalina Rae Powell (msg # 6):

As I recall, you must play them as they lie.

You have 28 dice to allocate to all 7 of your attributes. They must be allocated ahead of time. Minimum of 1 die, maximum of 6 dice. (In other words, average would be 4 dice per attribute.)

Add 6 to the result.

Minimum scores must be between 10 and 40. Attribute scores under 10 can be raised to 10 by taking from another attribute, scores over 40 are not lost, the points are reallocated to other attributes as you see fit.

No worries, it's your choice. Point-based is definitely an option!
