Re: Quests!

Kobolds in the Hills
Source: Wanted poster at Oleg’s Trading Post
Task: The Sootscale kobolds dwell in a cave somewhere in the Kamelands. Normally not a problem, they’ve been riled up by something lately.
Find their lair and ensure that the kobolds aren’t going to continue being a threat.
Completion: Upon ensuring that the kobolds are no longer a threat
Reward: The swordlords of Restov promise a great reward for this task

Re: Quests!

Wanted: Tatzlwyrm
Rawr!!
Source: Wanted poster at Oleg’s Trading Post
Task: The way everyone talks about tatzlwyrms, one might think they’re swarming throughout the Stolen Lands. This isn’t the case; they’re actually quite rare. A tatzlwyrm head would be a great conversation piece at Oleg’s. He has promised a
reward for anyone who can deliver one.
Completion: Slay a tatzlwyrm and deliver its head.
Reward: Oleg has been evasive on the exact reward but promises he will make it worth your while.

Re: Quests!

Wanted: Tuskgutter
Source: Wanted poster at Oleg’s Trading Post
Task: Every Greenbelt hunter has a story about Tuskgutter, each wilder than the last. Whoever manages to kill the ill-tempered beast will get a nice reward from old, retired Vekkel Benzen, who lost his leg to the monster pig a year ago.
Completion: Deliver Tuskgutter’s head to Oleg’s.
Reward: According to the poster, Vekkel has promised his longbow
and six magical arrows to whoever can kill Tuskgutter. He also promises to share the head cheese he plans to make out of this trophy.

Re: Quests!

Moon Radish Soup
Source: Svetlana Leveton at Oleg’s Trading Post
Task: Oleg’s been under a lot of stress lately, and Svetlana would love to cook him his favorite meal (moon radish soup) to help him relax. Unfortunately,
moon radishes are relatively rare. A patch grows about 16 miles south of the trading post.
Completion: Bring Svetlana a basket of moon radishes.
Reward: Svetlana is ready to pay a 250 gp reward
to anyone who can bring her enough moon radishes to
make soup.

Re: Quests!

Svetlana’s Ring
Task: Although his wife claims it’s not a big loss compared to what the bandits could have taken, Oleg knows the theft of her wedding ring has distressed
her. She’s forbidden him from risking life and limb to recover it, but if anyone else can find the ring and return it to him, he’ll be very grateful.
Completion: Track down the ring. The bandits were the last to have it, but they might have lost or sold it already.
Reward: Oleg promises 1,000 gp in trading post credit if his wife’s ring can be recovered.

Rivers Run Red Quests!

Forest Drake Hunt

Source: Wanted poster.
Task: Rumors of a dragon haunting the southern
Narlmarches are probably (hopefully) overstated. The
evidence indicates that the source of the rumors
is merely a forest drake. In any event, it’s killing
folks and needs to be put down.
Completion: Find a forest drake, kill it, and return
to town with its head as proof.
Reward: The kingdom approves a reward of 1,200 gp
to the first group to successfully slay a forest
drake in the Narlmarches.

Re: Rivers Run Red Quests!

Troll Blood

Source: Wanted poster.
Task: A local alchemist has a theory that trolls’
blood can serve as a catalyst during the creation
of healing potions. But until he gets a supply of the
blood, he won’t be able to prove his theory.
Completion: Deliver a waterskin filled with troll blood
to the alchemist. He doesn’t need more than one
waterskin, so one troll donor should do the trick.
Reward: The alchemist promises a reward of 1,200 gp
in potions (hunter’s choice), deliverable about a week
after the blood is brought to him.

Re: Rivers Run Red Quests!

Northern Howls

Source: Wanted poster.
Task: A ferocious worg stalks the Kamelands!
His name is Howl-of-the-North-Wind, and he’s
been eating bandits and hunters for years. With
the new influx of citizens into the Greenbelt,
the ravenous worg needs to be slain before he
acquires a taste for the citizenry!
Completion: Kill the worg and display his body at
town for the citizens to see.
Reward: The kingdom approves a reward of 1,200 gp
to the heroes who slay Howl-of-the-North-Wind.

Shamblesap

Source: Wanted poster.
Task: Shambling mounds aren’t as common in the
Greenbelt as they are in Hooktongue Slough, but
they’re not unheard of. A local herbalist has found
that the sap of a shambling mound works wonders
for cultivating certain medicinal herbs, and asks
for one shambling mound’s worth of sap.
Completion: Deliver the sap to the herbalist.
Reward: The herbalist can pay 600 gp for the sap,
along with 3 potions of cure moderate wounds.

Tors of Levenies spin the softest silk in the
area. She asks for a delivery of 50 square yards
of good silk harvested from several spider dens.
Completion: One spider den should yield 10 square
yards of usable silk; bring 50 yards to Chamaie.
Reward: Chamaie promises a cloak of protection +2
as a reward to whoever can supply her with silk.

Re: Module 3

The Nomen Problem

Source: Charter from Restov
Task: The Nomen Centaurs have long caused trouble
for southern Brevoy. Violent and territorial, they
are a constant thorn in the side of any attempt
to settle and civilize the eastern Stolen Lands.
Completion: Either drive the Nomen Centaurs out of
the Stolen Lands, or secure a treaty with them.
Reward: For securing peace with the Nomen (or
eradicating them; either solution sits well with
Brevoy), the swordlords of Restov are willing to
pay a 4,000 gp reward.

A Missing Brother

Source: Local aristocrat Edrist Hanvaki
Task: Edrist worries about his brother, Tomin, who
recently traveled to Varnhold to seal a deal with
that village’s gemcutter. Tomin’s been missing for
days, and Edrist has promised a reward for news
of his brother’s fate, or at the very least, the
return of his brother’s mother-of-pearl brooch.
Completion: Learn of Tomin’s fate and report the
discovery to Edrist.
Reward: Edrist is prepared to award those who bring
him the news he seeks a payment of 3,000 gp.

The Omelet King

Source: Jamery Gorbasken, local chef
Task: Jamery is well known for his strange food
obsessions. His latest is a desire to cook an
enormous omelet from a single roc’s egg. If
someone can deliver such an egg to him, he’ll
organize a huge omelet-cooking competition!
Completion: Deliver one (undamaged) roc egg.
Reward: Not only is the omelet-cooking competition a
huge success, but the excitement involved results
in a surge of money into the kingdom, increasing the
kingdom’s treasury by 6 Build Points.

but he didn’t actually arrange for a leave of absence.
Completion: Find Ervil and convince him to return to his
