It looked to be mostly the top part- the screen and the case.  I think the HD will be fine- but I'm still crossing my fingers that everything will be fine with it.  It's not costing me a thing, so that's at least a relief.

Hard drives are pretty durable, so I'd suspect that'll be fine, especially if it was just the case.

Fox had a nice haul at the market, he got himself a Turquoison Headband and the  Kagonite Snake, which is a nice sword :)

On the potion front, he has the following which we need to decide goes where

Potion of Strength - -8 WP. Double the user's strength; Increase CS by 2 for 5 rounds of combat.
Enhanced Alether (recover +3 END, then +2 CS for one combat)
Enhanced Hildun (recover +4 WP and +1 daily CS)
Enhanced Laumspur (+6 END, +2 WP recover)

Alyne is also carrying Fox's bow and quiver of arrows as he cannot carry them anymore. So if someone wants them, then they can when they return. Otherwise I suppose we can leave Alyne tooled up with them

Either way, I agree on letting Sun Snake have the next post; I'm curious on his reaction to seeing what exactly you brought back from your shopping trip.

From a meta standpoint, not interested in the potion of Strength (-8WP, really???), the Alether sounds ok but Snake wouldn't take it for a couple of reasons. The Hildun and Laumspur sound very good. Again, Sun Snake woulnd't take then right away for his own personal use, despite me as a player wanting either of both since thye are very good.

So shuffle what you must, I'm sure Sun Snake will take two random items. Just remember Sun Snake has no meals and we'll need them later. I guess he might ditch some stuff at the brotherhood if he really needs to.


Unless Shadow tells me otherwise (I had memory aids on my sheet but they got edited out) I think I can take the bow and arrows if needed. Depends if Alyne wants to get rid of them, or if she is happy to keep them.

Well the Strength is because the potion is double the WP usage compared to normal Battle Magic spells. However it might be worth it at some point, who knows!

Well for now, if Snake can take the following

Fox will want to keep the combat related stuff is all. Strength might help one of you considering Fox has Huntmastery, so you might want to keep it after all. Failing that we could always sell it, as we got that potion for free!

If Snake doesnt take the bow and arrows, Alyne could keep it as you say, infact, Fox would insist on it to try and get her better equipped

You can take the bow if you want it, Sun Snake - it'd go in your second "back" weapon slot, since it's obviously too big to be carried on your belt.

Alyne doesn't care about actually carrying it or not - she'll accept your decison on it, since to her it's the same.

You're underestimating the potion of Strenght; if used at start of combat, it stacks with anything, including other potions. I know the price it's heavy; otherwise, you would use it much too soon instead of keeping it for an emergency. Also, it can be used out of combat to give a quite unique advantage; you might want to keep that in mind.

Nah, it's just that Sabre Fox, by virtue of having gotten the merchant inside town quickly, won a very big discount.

Alyne bought only clothes. :)

Its Alyne thats loaded! She afforded about 100 crowns like chump change!

But she spent those on clothes. She didn't spent 1 single gold crown on potions, now did she?
