Re: OOC: fourth wall

...and that's why you never, ever talk down to a woman who rose from practically nothing to be a Kai.  It's one of the ways to really get on Rain's bad side, and it's not so much of a tirade as it is calling Valador out on the proverbial carpet- either shut me up yourself, or prove everything I've said to be true and get out of the way.

Anything to shut this guy up, sheesh. :)

Re: OOC: fourth wall

Lol, I have the funny feeling he'll jut take his ball, go home, then tell all his friends we were jerks, but still fun to see.

Sun Snake won't agree, but I think it's fun to see :D

Edit: Hey, when did snake double speak? I mean, any more than needed so this jerk doesn't get on our case. He might be the main villian, you know - or blab to them!

Re: OOC: fourth wall

Rain's seen this behavior before from a lot of the younger initiates- they learn a few disciplines, and some of them think it means that they can lord over their compatriots who haven't learned as many.  Usually calling them on the proverbial carpet takes care of them- and if he DOES take a shot at her, well, he's going to look like a complete jackass.

I think Rain has the upper hand this time around.  Though I pity the fool if he drops the "W" word on her...

Re: OOC: fourth wall

Even if Rain is completely correct, an arrogant character isn't going to capitulate. Sadly, plotwise, he probably does have the upper hand against us somehow, and we'll pay for everything we say or do at some point later!

It's still not a reason not to smack him around though. What's the point of being players otherwise :D

Re: OOC: fourth wall

Shark is very happy the three of you are leaving right now. . .

erm wow, clearly I am in a terrible mental state.

What I meant to say is....

Shark is not very happy with the three of you that are in the Skyship group right now. . .

Re: OOC: fourth wall

Actually this might be setting things up nicely for Swift to sneak into Valador's good books later when she has to comfort him after her scary friends had a go at him ;)  hehe.

Re: OOC: fourth wall

I thought that was Shark's plan? Well, you can of course work on it togheter... just wondering here. :)

Also, I love how this conversation almost litersally exploded! And can I say, this seems like the Maakengorge group managed to act all togheter against a common foe; that's something I loved to see, most definitely. It seems like putting Valador here for you all to met was the perfect choice! ^_^

Re: OOC: fourth wall

Although you guys realise that if Valador is indeed the Big Bad, he'll probably be ordering all his henchmen to give you lot a little extra attention now.

Oh well, that'll leave less of them behind to hassle Team Sky Pirate :)  hehe

What's this sudden turn-around? Wasn't he supposed to be just a nuisance? :)

Re: OOC: fourth wall

Swift just said she thiknks of him as a villain now - and a villain is more dangerous then a nuisance, or am I getting that wrong? :)

I thought everyone thought of him as a villain...  (O.o)

Don't mind me then, carry on with the brawling :)  hehe.

Re: OOC: fourth wall

Lol, yeah, but to be fair Swift's thought he's probably the main villain for a while now, right? :)

It's only Banedon that's tried to play him down by calling him a nuisance!

I have no idea what he is... he's so provocatively arrogant and brash that it's a perfect cover for what he really is. Or if he is exactly as he appears to be, then the real question is - what does he truly treasure above his own personal power? Or what is his own personal power for?

Edit: Oops, double posted. Lol, yeah, I think swoft's the only one throwing around accusations and thinking that not only is there definitely a traitor in the brotherhood, but it must be Valador! Sun Snake's just wound up by and vulnerable to his personality for a variety of reasons!

Oh, I'm pretty sure it's been you players, and not Banedon, to call him a nuisance first. Then again, perhaps I'm wrong... to Banedon, he's most definitely a nuisance, that's true. :)

As for what his arrogance hide, or if it's actually how he really is... you'll have to discover by yourself! ^_^

Actually Swift plays her cards pretty close to her chest.
Although she occasionally gives away hints of what she's thinking, she does have the ability to just go completely "blank" on the outside and give no hint at all of what sinister thoughts are drifting around her mind.
She has let her guard down a little bit with regards to the rest of the team, but someone like Valador might have difficulty getting much out of her...  Unless he can read her mind of course!
