So you're a turtle fan, eh? I suppose that would explain the name Shadow Turtle :) Specifically sea-turtles or any of them? I think that's a green in your portrait, but I not 100% sure, do you know?

Anyways - Hullo :)

Turtle/Tortoise fan, totally, and more generally reptiles fan as well. They're just so green and cool, you know? :)

However, when I choose the name, it was also done thematically - Shadow was a girl who didn't open up to others, you know? All the time hiding in her shell... like a Turtle. :)

I'm not sure on the species of my portrait... I'll check later and let you know! ^^

You know, I don't think I've ever seen an image of a turtle hiding in its shell...I suppose that's 'cause most images/footage I've ever seem show them either swimming in the sea or crawling toward it as hatchlings ;).

:) I think that's because the image of a turtle with it's head hidden in the shell is not really awesome, but having met real life land turtles (or would that be tortoises? I alwyas am confused on what each english word actually mean), I can grant you, if you ever get close, they hide in the shell very, very quickly. They only pull out their head when they're sure nothing dangerous is around - and they're not really brave creatures, believe me. ^^

You mean just sea turtles? They can't pull back into their shells like the lil land dudes, if I remember correctly. I'm not a turtle expert, though. I've seen a few resting underwater, and I recall their heads were always out.

Oh, I wasn't aware they couldn't! Always just thought it was something every turtle could do...

Anyway, Valanthe, before asking Dusk Rat who she is, you should introduce yourself too, shouldn't you? After all, should she be Ameena, she would have some difficulty guessing who you actually are! ^^

Yup, as I was saying to Shadow, I get to play alongside two people I've only ever GM'd or been GM'd by. Woohoo! I don't think I ever (permenantly) killed Dusk Rat's previous rattie character, so hopefully I can use her as a human shield. Plus she gets to thump my other characters when she's not playing Minecraft or I'm not working, so I don't think I will get stabbed in the back!


And I get to play with Sabre Fox too, who I've not been able to do anything with at all. Wait, that sounded wrong... Anyway, woohoo to that too!


Moon Dancer might think we've never actually had characters in the same place at the same time in a game before, but she would be wrong :D
