OOC: ninth symphony

And here we come, ready for a new thread and more interesting post to read, as well as approaching the end of the game.

Don't keep me waiting for you too long...

Re: OOC: ninth symphony

Yay, new OOC thread! :)

Also I think Vyctar's avatar looks scarier than Peacock's.
Sort of a cross between Dracula and Heath Ledger's "Joker".
Got me wondering which of them would win in a one-on-one duel? :)
(Peacock and Vyctar I mean.  Though Dracula Vs Joker would probably be worth watching too!)

Well good thing we aren't about to confront him, then!

Re: OOC: ninth symphony

I think Peacock's avatar might seem scary in a way once you get to know him - you know, under the façade of all flamboyance and 'shallowness', he's a deadly man, if you antagonize him.

EDIT:
As Sun Snake says: maybe Dusk will take care of him for us... *wink, wink*

Re: OOC: ninth symphony

Well I can't help wondering if Peacock has gone off to take down Sejanoz, but his ego made him too overconfident, so he'll get wiped out, forcing poor Dusk to escape from a lethal situation and make her way back to the rest of us.
Sejanoz meanwhile gets the Deathstaff and then we have to deal with him later.
Just my thoughts on where this is heading for now.  Although knowing Shadow, it's more likely that there's some twist we're not seeing yet...  ;)

Re: OOC: ninth symphony

Lol, Dusk Rat comes back alone on a Zlanbeast saying Peacock nobly sacrificed himself and left her in charge. Also, the Zlanbeast seems to be burping rather smugly.

Edit: Well, Dusk Rat already managed to escape one deadly situation with the Valador snake thingie without dying, so it's all good, right?

I mean obviously she's a spy for Valador, but that just means she'll be fine :D

Re: OOC: ninth symphony

Lol yeah but that was just a giant mutant snake thing with metal spikes all over it and some kind of psychic-wave attack...Peacock can make dragons out of dirt and generally blow the shit out of pretty much everything if he doesn't totally screw with their heads and leave them a gibbering wreck instead...or just do both ;).

Re: OOC: ninth symphony

Yeah, but the dirt dragon was just an illusion, so that doesn't count ;)

Swift has ways of dealing with "blow the shit out of pretty much everything" magical attacks.
(Well, one less than she had before since Valador stole the Green Marble off her...  I know it was technically his to start with, but, you know, finders keepers! lol).

Screwing with her head just makes Swift angrier...  A LOT angrier! >:)

Yeah, I wish either snake or Swift had got the chance to tell Peacock his dragon was imperfect now! I guess we were too busy making evil plans behind everyone's backs. I mean... admiring the Maakengorge.

Yeah, I just hope we don't get to see the fight between Sabre and Sun Fox they were talking about. o.O
Hopefully (and I do believe that), that might be just the right way to 'reassure' Sun Fox, no matter how harsh method that was :/

It's very symbolic because I seem to recall Rain slapping Sun Fox to bring her round once before. The message was conveyed in the same way to try and show her that

I can't wait for all the threads to be revealed to see if there are more of these sort of unintentional echoes scattered through.

Re: OOC: ninth symphony

Shadow, if I understand it correctly, when sleeping, we can choose (only) one stat to recover: either CS, END or WP. Some disciplines give bonuses to the recovery of relevant stats, but it's always only one stat that is affected by sleep, right?
