Ragnar's Retribution
You sit in your familiar cell again, only the basic necessities were there as you already knew for a long time now. You recall being allowed a visit after one of your fights with a large prisoner, a woman wearing a large set of robes that covered most of her body besides for her hands which were a strange mix between a green and pale skin color. "You are meant for so much more child... Do not make haste. Fate has a strange way of occuring." was the only thing they said before they departed, not even giving you the time to react.

It had been about a week now that has passed between now and then, and you haven't been sent into a fight yet, giving you TOO much time to think about what you wanted to.

Re: Ragnar's Retribution
In reply to Mercator (msg #1):

He sat there silently staring out of the bars of his home He laid his bare feet on the ground below his cot. His feet were callused and covered in scars from countless battles out on sand and rocky battlefield. They allowed him armor only when fighting other humanoids or beasts too strong for even his flesh. Covered from head to toe in battle scars his skin was nearly as hard as the stone floor he now pushed himself up on standing he walked over to the wall and wrapped his hands again with the tattered cloth that used to be his shirt long ago when it still fit.  after his hands were wrapped he slowly began punching the wall causing chips of stone the crack off from it thinking about what the woman had said to him. His fists had long ago lost all sense of pain the skin so hard he always wanted to try catching a blade with his hands. He continued to punch the wall chipping away at it until someone came for him or told him to stop as he did every day.

Re: Ragnar's Retribution
You continue to chip at the wall for what feels like 10 minutes or so, making a good sized dent in the wall before you come to realize it was eerily silent, no one coming along for the daily routine of telling you to knock it off.

In reply to Mercator (msg #3):

After having caused a fist shaped hole in the wall he grunts and turns around to the bars walking over slowly his feet thudding Not thumping Therese a difference. His feet sounding more like leather boots then actual feet as he walked he grabbed the bars and poked his head through the large dented hole he has made over the years by smashing his head into the bars it was big enough to fit his head through, He looked through the bars into the hall of cells for any clue of whats going on.

Re: Ragnar's Retribution
As you look around you noticed another strange thing, it seemed like none of the guards where even there as you finally heard a large cheering and THUMPING from the Colosseum as a single guard came to your cell staring at you with your head that was currently through the bars, he didn't look like any of the guards you knew so he was most likely new, or from somewhere else as he motions you away from the bars.

Ragnar took a step back from the bars with another grunt nodding to the man, He was new or hadn't ever seen Ragnar before, Time for him to go through Guard Initiation. he sat there calmly unmoving his hands held infront of him in the usual form he was shackled. It always happened. The guards shackled him once he left his cell. But only guards he has met before are allowed to shackle him without trouble.

Re: Ragnar's Retribution
As the guard opened the cell he actually took a step back instead of towards you, it was obvious they might have warned him as he points in the direction of the cheering, your usual entrance of course, it seemed they had something "suitable" for you to fight according to the echo's of the announcers.

Ragnar stepped into the hall looking down at the guard with a slow snarl his lip raising to show off his overly large canines. He puffed his chest in challenge to the guard wondering if he would accept or not.

Re: Ragnar's Retribution
The guard looks to you before cracking his knuckles and getting his fists ready, throwing a punch at you landing a shot straight to your chest that actually made quite a hit, quite impressive for a rookie.

Re: Ragnar's Retribution
As you came down roaring you noticed too late that the rookie had ducked, and the cracking sound was actually from you hitting the wall and the wall denting in, pieces of rubble now falling off of it as the man connects a blow to the right cheek, it was a weaker blow compared to the last one but still powerful.

Ragnar turned around looking down at the man chunks of rock now lodged into the crevices in his forehead. He grabbed the man and turned him around, He was skilled enough to dodge his reckless attacks. after grabbing the man he started slamming his head into the bars of his cell.

Re: Ragnar's Retribution
Right before the man hit the bars, his eyes wide, he whipped his head out of your grip and back around to behind you, landing a light strike with one knuckle into the back of your spine, actually sending a shock up your body, something you weren't used to feeling from someone like this, if it were a stronger blow it could have potentially hurt.

Ragnar raised his brow in confusion as he spun around he stopped goofing around with the man and flat out punched him in the face rather then try to give him a playful strike, His huge green knuckles flying towards the mans face with the speed of a flying arrow.

Re: Ragnar's Retribution
The guard ducks out of the way again, a small grin on his face as he attempts to punch you and misses, following up the sudden loss of balance with a roll a bit away from you, getting back into a combat stance.

Ragnar took an actual combat stance now eyeing the man now as he squared up with him suddenly kicking forward sideways sending his foot straight into the mans sternum.

Re: Ragnar's Retribution
You hear your foot connect with a heavy thud finally as the man fell backwards and slid a good 5 feet as he gets back up and attempts to swing at you, instead punching the wall not making a dent.

Ragnar grabs the mans arm his giant hand wrapping around the guards small arm he begins to twists it trying to break his arm and end the fight right there.
