Mos Eisley - Day Two

Making the choice to sleep aboard the Alabak’s Gold rather than rent lodging the crew talked and then went to their bunks to rest. The dawn the next morning was bright as the twin suns shone down on Mos Eisley. As they had discovered the day before as soon as the twin suns rose Tatooine was blisteringly hot and Mos Eisley crowded, busy and noisy.

OOC Where to? I've updated Mos Eisley map with a clearer list of interesting buildings.

Re: Mos Eisley - Day Two

Zerrek awoke the next day and quickly rolled out of bed, waiting for the others in the main living area, normally where they had meetings, eating whatever he thought was right for the day. He sat there waiting for the others to wake and start talking about plans.

Oglo joined him in a few minutes, sitting down silently. He seems to be quite calm, as usual.

Re: Mos Eisley - Day Two

Lyla stepped out of the refresher, clad in only a bathrobe and toweling down her tails, all fluffy white and glistening orange. Something she'd learned on Tatooine was the need to take regular turboshowers to wash off the dust and sweat and keep cool. Though she felt a little refreshed and relaxed, that was fast evaporating as the day's heat was already soaking through the starship. "Morning." she greeted cheerily as she slipped into the galley, bare feet on the cold deck.

She fixed herself a bowl of cereal and joined the others at the table, first taking a few bites. The others were quiet, which seemed a poor sign for today's efforts. "It seems we're stuck here, so — any ideas?" she asked. "We missed Labria, and I don't think we should waste much time looking for the local drunk. If we check the cantina again tonight, maybe? Do you still have any leads with the bounty hunters?"

After a bite, she pointed her spoon at the map of Mos Eisley. "I was thinking... what if Tallon's not been living here since he 'died'. The man's a spacer, so why ground himself dirtside? And he's in hiding. He might move around a lot. So, maybe we should ask around the local places where travelers stay — Spaceport Hotel, Mos Eisley Inn. It's either that or we start door-knocking."
