For a brief moment in time T3-M8 opened a secure comlink between the Alabak's Gold and Grey Nine.

Into the com system on Grey Nine an almost painfully generic voice, common to many civilian and military communication systems activates of it's own volition.

”Grey Nine, please stand by for an important communication from the Alabak's Gold. . .”

Soon after, a rather more lovely and feminine voice came through. 'Gray Nine, this is Alliance vessel Alabak's Gold. Do you require assistance with that scout-ship?'

"Alabak's Gold this is Grey Nine, thanks for the assistance. If you could stay on site I'd appreciate it. Right now they seem to be a 3rd rate crew, but they might suprise me." Rynn replied. "And watch the skies and make sure they don't call in reinforments. Are you inbound to Neskroff?"

'We were... Alright, will do. Do you want us to try and shoot that bird down? We're only a jump freighter, by the way, and none of us are good shots, but occasionally we get lucky...'

"Trying to put it down without taking it out. If you can assist without destroying it, I'm our Intel boys would thank you."

"Well" said Klyn, inserting himself into the conversation, "We have no ion weapons, but we can at least make them think about it twice.  A few laser beam around them might help them decide to land."
