Neskroff gateway

After their journey across the crystal world the pair reached Neskroff. The huge crystal mesa shone as the artificial light within made the plateau glow. At the large gateway they were able to drive the speedertruck in. A half a dozen Rebel guards were standing around, with a few civilians also. Tera recognised the Commander Tallon speaking on a com-box. The commander glanced in her direction but was obviously more interested in her companion. He stared long at Bron's robes, hung up the receiver and then marched over "seems a strange day Officer Inkari. I've just received word of an ancient holy man and then you arrive with this man. Can you explain what's going on?" the old commander had replaced his black tunic with a blue shirt and rather than wear his old Republic insignia he had replaced it Alderaanian insignia, a symbol of solidarity and rebellion.

Dusting himself off, from the long journey Bron makes sure that his robes cover his lightsaber before looking up at Commander Tallon and contemplatives his presence here.

"Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bron Tolgo, I happened to be passing through the area and Officer Inkari and her companions were kind enough to lend me some assistance." he says extending his hand towards the Commander.

Tera sighed heavily "Yes, sir. This man is Bron Tolgo, he's the holy man you must have received word of. As you know we went out to recover the Alabek's Gold, we met with the Gutretee shaman and we spent some time with him sir....I don't quite know how to explain it, but I am convinced there's some form of Imperial presence in Neskroff." Tera felt it best to be forward and truthful "That's why Bron is here sir. He'll help us uncover the source of this presence. I'm afraid without him, it might be next to impossible to figure out who or what the source of this is."

The old man offered Bron a stern smile and shook the Jedi's hand "Commander Adar Tallon" the Alliance officer introduced himself. Then he turned his attention to Tera and shook his head "there is another" he responded.

As the group talked the Rebel soldiers on duty moved around and the civilians carried on with everyday tasks "I've just had a report that a carbonite block that the Alliance diplomatic corps brought back from a supply mission has been thawed out to reveal a old holy man. I don't know what that means but I need a medical officer" he said pointedly at Tera. He paused "I don't know what you mean about an Imperial presence, your report gave no indication that the ISC left any one or anything behind."

Tera nodded "I'll go check on the other ancient holy man then. Carbonite freezing...can he see yet?" she asked curiously. "And the nature of the Imperial presence? I don't think it was left behind by the scouts, I think it's separate, but no less dnagerous for all of that."

Watching the interaction between Tera and the Commander, Bron kept his thoughts to himself for the time being. Unsure of what to think of the Commander, Bron found it wise to observe rather than interact at this juncture.

Another Jedi, frozen in carbonite? How old is he, what age does he come from, what could he teach me that has been forgotten...

Bron's thoughts races, he almost forgot about why they came to Neskroff in the first place Could they be connected?
