What is "lambda50" on the map?

Can we target specific parts of the frigate, like engines and antennas?

The Lambda50 is the Imperial Shuttle with the Verpine esaped prisoners and Quantros.

Yes specific parts of the frigate can be targetted but only when within Point Blank Range!

The weapon ranges for the B-wings are

Ion cannon 0-2/3-4/5-10/11-20

Torpedo 0-3/4-6/7-15/16-30

So Chu-Shkar is too far away to hit the Nebulon-B frigate. Yes he can fire but it will not hit!

FYI

Alabak's Gold lasers 0-1/2/3-5/6-10

Nebulon-B frigate

Point-defence 0-1/2/3-5/6-10

Tractor beam 0-1/2/3-5/6-10

Turbolaser 0-4/5-8/9-20/21-40

As we don't do starship battles often it's worth noting that the Nebulon-B suffers from a -20 to hit with the turbolaser on the B-wings. Unfortunately the Alabak's Gold does not get this advantage!

I run initiative on behalf of Rynn, although realised afterwards he automatically beats the crappy Nebulon-B initiative.

So you all go first. Is everyone, Alabak's Gold and the B-wings closing range? Most weapons are out of range at the current time. How fast are ships travelling?

Klyn has not vehicular combat skill or feat, so no.

Unless there are maneuvers that doesn't require some feats.

But judging by the current distance, I believe a double move for everyone is the most practical action (or all out movement), whichever allows us to close the gat the quickest.

How do you increase vehicle speed?

They are all normal actions for vehicles, so anyone can do them.

Move and double move are exactly the same as character actions.

All out movement is the same as Run, move at x4 speed. Gunners can not attack and the vehicle loses its Dexterity bonus to Ref Defence.

Attack run is similar to Charge, move vehicle speed and gain +2 on your attack roll and -2 penalty to Ref defence.

Increase Vehicle Speed can only be used if you are trained in Pilot skill, you may make a DC 20 Pilot skill as a swift action to push your vehicle's speed. A fail and your speed does not increase and the vehicle moves -1 step on the condition track. A success and the vehicle's speed increases by 1 square until the start of the next turn. For every 5 points by which you exceed the DC the vehicle speed increases by an additional 1 square.

well, in that case I suggest an all out movement, if I counted correctly the squares.

With such a malus from the Gold, Kly won't try to increase the speed^^

I don't know. I couldn't find a rule saying I couldn't. And I've been doing it for the last two rounds without anyone saying anything. Otherwise, this battle could be a bit of a drag until we finally get together.

Why can't we shoot and move at the same time?

In any case, don't slow down on my account. We need to be closer so we can shoot the frigate.

Well, normal movement for the Gold is 2 square.
double move allowing to shoot for the gunners is 4 squares.
all out movement preventing from shooting is 8 squares.

If I'm not wrong.

So if you want to shoot we will be in long range in... 5 rounds.

if not, in two rounds.

Make it all-out movement and ignore my shooting then. Wasting rounds letting me shoot if I can't actually hit anything is pointless.
