He is, but a wookie fell on him... hard to control a ship when that happens.


I'm going to shove Chu to the floor, control the ship, and then either shoot the traitor, or try to patch Chu.

Are there rules about shooting a target that can't move? I don't have my books with me. What would the modifier be to hit a stationary target?

You could take the other turret seat when we need it.

Can we shoot or destroy the asteroids, or turn back and blast the control area back in the hangar?

The shuttle does not have any weapons.

The B-wings stats are as below.

Initiative -5
Ref 15, Fort 28; +8 armour
Hp 150; DR10; SR 50; Threshold 48
Speed Fly 3 squares

Light ion cannons +4 (-1 autofire) 4d10x2 ion
Proton torpedos +4 9d10x2, 4-square splash

Rynn and Chu-Shkar can for their actions take control of the Verpine pilots which will allow Pilot checks at +3 after all modifiers for ships size and they possess Vehicular Combat. And they can take their own actions for the ion cannons and proton torpedos.


I will allow you time to post and prepare for the battle and then I will post a space map!

The Verpine are in the B wings as well?

And how many torpedos per B-wing?

And what are the modifiers for the ships? Rynn is sitting at a +10 with vehicular combat, and I'm hoping my modifier would beat the verpine.

How big is the imperial ship again?

Does it have TIE fighters, how many ? What kind of weapon/shield power?

The full statistics for the prototype Slayn & Korpil B-wing/E2 Starfighter are:

Gargantuan starfighter

Abilities Str 46, Dex 15, Int 18

Crew 2

Cargo 50kg
Payload 8 proton torpedoes
Hyperdrive x2, limited navicomputer (2-jump memory)

Laser cannons (pilot only)
Damage 8d10x2

Light ion cannons (gunner only)
Damage 4d10x2 ion

Proton torpedoes (gunner only)
Damage 9d10x2, 4-square splash



The Vehicle size of Gargantuan applies a -5 modifier to Initiative and Pilot checks.

The Intelligence of 18 applies a modifier of +4 to attack rolls.

Each B-wing has a payload of 8 proton torpedoes.



The Verpines can only aid as pilots due to their pacifistic nature. If Chu-Shkar or Rynn are going to fly the B-wings as pilots they won't be able to fire the Ion cannons or Proton torpedoes.

You have a few choices. Rynn and Chu-Shkar could fly together (one gunner and one pilot) and a Verpine pilot could fly the other B-wing as a decoy without weapons. Rynn and Chu-Shkar could pilot a B-wing each without any aid from the Verpines. Lastly you can have a Verpine as a pilot and the Rebels as gunners.

Klyn knows that the Nebulon-B Frigate is well armed with a Turbolaser battery, Point-defence laser cannon battery, a Tractor beam and is able to carry two dozen TIE fighters.

I need to Know what to roll for his gunnery and initiative. Am I firing on my initiative or the pilot's?

Klyn hoped that Lyra's bluff would at least give them some time.

There was little chance of winning against such a ship... Unless those B-wing proved to be twice as strong as they were supposed to.

They couldn't let all the Verpine die either.  But maybe they could distract the imperials long enough to allow them to flee.

OOC: are there places to hit first to reduce the efficiency of the Frigate ?

The docking bay of the TIE fighters to prevent them from leaving maybe?

You would fire on your Initiative and to keep things simple the Verpine pilot will act on the same initiative.

Chu-Shkar's attacks will be 1d20 + BAB + vehicle intelligence + range - non proficiency.

So at Point Blank range will be 1d20 + 3 + 4 + 0 - 5 = 1d20+2
