Return to Fitsay

As Fitsay came into view Sedrians could be seen swimming around the settlement and amongst the stone buildings. Eager to warn his father Pek exited the Alabak's Gold his powerful tail fluke beating strongly as he swam through the water.

OOC Any Rebels following Pek to swim closer to Fitsay make a Perception check.

Return to Fitsay

Tera followed Pek as closely as she could. It was clear she wasn't made for free movement underwater. Only her general good health allowed her to keep within sight distance of the much more nimble Sedrian. Her eyes peeled, she looked around to see if there were any signs of an infiltration of the city by Imperials.

12:54, Today: Tera Inkari rolled 17 using 1d20+9.  Perception

Klyn spotted Pek leaving the Gold but he really had to fly the ship... and he really didn't want to swim.

Chu-Shkar hated swimming, but didn't want Tera going alone. So he put on a re-breather, and dove after her. His natural strength, and it being a simple swim, allowed him to catch up quickly. He too was keeping his eyes peeled.

14:46, Today: Chu-Shkar rolled 23 using 1d20+5.  swim check.

Return to Fitsay

On board the Alabak's Gold Rynn and Bron joined Klyn in the cockpit to watch as the Tera and Chu-Shkar followed Pek to Fitsay. Tera had to put more effort into swimming and following Pek than Chu-Shkar so did not see the commotion that the Wookiee spotted at the cliff base as he swam into Fitsay. Chu-Shkar saw a cloud of silt rise up as a group of Sedrians thrashed about.

OOC With two spare Rebels Klyn doesn't have to stay with the starship if you don't want to.

Return to Fitsay

If even the wookie was going for a dive, Klyn couldn't stay idle either.

He was, however, very relunctant to leave the Gold to another of those 'Jedi' and the mentally instable Rynn  didn't really increase his trust.

"Get the gold safely to the port, don't touch anything you don't know" he finally said before suiting up and 'running' toward the two others.

Return to Fitsay

As Klyn sealed his breathing suit and dived into the ocean Rynn took the pilot's chair and Bron sat with him. Rynn offering a waving hand as reassurance.

In the sea Chu-Shkar came to a halt as his strong strokes came to a stop. The Wookiee kicked his feet to steady himself and pointed down toward the base of the mountain, about half a kilometre to the northwest. The waters were clear all the way to it but at the seabed the fine silt had created a cloud which hid the exact nature of what was happening down there. Sedrians were definitely involved as bodies were seen thrashing about in the cloud.

Tera pointed towards the commotion and started swimming towards it. Her own feeling being along the lines that the stirring of the silt must be due to the Sedrians there trying to hide something from sight....and that would only happen if there was something nefarious going on.

Chu-Shkar would have growled in frustration, but his rebreather kept that from happening. What did this girl think she was doing. Swimming after, he tried to catch her to stop her.

Return to Fitsay

None of the Rebels were great swimmers although Klyn's experience of space travel and zero gravity helped him keep pace with the others and Chu-Shkar muscles gave him to the power to pull himself through the water. Tera lead them toward the mountains. As the silt cloud began to settle a group of twelve Sedrians emerged. The Sedrian swam fast and low, directly toward Fitsay. Each of them carried a sack.

OOC : I suppose we have communicators

"I don't know what's going on but I really hope they are not in a foul mood or planning something bad because we are vastly outnumbered" he said.

"Honestly....I doubt we can stop it all....but we can stop some of it...and the more we stop, the more lives we save. I'll not have that on my conscience." Tera swam after the group, wishing she had a blaster that would work underwater.

"Are we sure those are doing something wrong" continued Klyn, not very convincingly.
While it was true the coincidence was a bit strange, they needed to be sure.
They really couldn't afford to lose the trust they had gained with Pek's people it they wanted to work with them.

"I don't know much about all that Force thing, but the two others kept saying they could sense when thing were wrong. Can't you do something like that?"

Tera raised an eyebrow not sure if her connection to the Force would let her do such a thing. She reached out trying to feel the ebb and flow of the Force, letting it guide her to determine if the Sedrians did in fact have something nefarious planned.

Return to Fitsay

The twelve Sedrian swam beneath them, the bodies gliding through the water as they made their way toward Fitsay. Chu-Shkar's frustrated growls were ignored by Tera but Klyn's prompt for her to trust her feelings slowed her down. The three Rebels watched and Tera concentrated. Feelings struck the Jedi. She sensed the many life-forms that occupied the ocean world. Each life-form independent in its struggle for survival but all linked by the Force. The Force showed Tera that these Sedrians were here to bring chaos.

Tera's feelings were proven as the Sedrians unfasten their sacks. The dark openings wriggled and squirmed. Captive creatures were released as shoals of fish swam out of the sacks and into the marketplace of Fitsay.

The school of stinger fish released into the marketplace caused chaos as the twelve Sedrian swam onward toward the centre of Fitsay. Each of them now drawing weapons from their sacks, spears, spear guns and sun guns. Sedrian tower guards sounded their horns but the attack had already begun.

OOC Initiative checks and actions. The twelve Sedrians are currently at a range of 30 squares and moving away.
