"The most direct route to the hangar is through the maintenance workshop" the Verpine chittered, waved its antennae and pointed toward the only exit "we are currently in the storage room and the maintenance workshop is through that doorway."

Quantros nods. "Right. Then I shall take point. Are you willing to fight? If so, I recommend you grab that guard's blaster. It should have a stun setting if you're opposed to killing. I can help you if you can't figure out how to set it to stun." Quantros had looked up some information on "Modern" blasters. He knew what to look for, having seen blasters used by several rebel soldiers, and familiarizing himself with them via his datapad. If there was any logic in the Stormtrooper's blasters, it wouldn't be hard to find what their stun setting was. When everyone was ready, Quantros moved next to the door to the maintenance workshop. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and began stretching out with the Force. He tried to sense whether or not there were people in the workshop at this very moment, but unfortunately, he saw only a cloudy black when he closed his eyes. It seems his connection to the Force was still not strong enough. Opening his eyes, he got ready to go through the door.

"We are opposed to killing" the Verpine replied to Quantros "we are opposed to violence. We can not help in your battles" it explained and refused to pick up any weapon.

OOC Quantros can not detect any hidden or concealed stormtroopers.

Quantros sighed. That made things harder, but so be it. If things were easy, they weren't worth doing. If these creatures didn't want the chance to grow, he'd gladly take it for them. "Very well. In that case, stay behind until I clear the room. I'll let you know when it's safe." Taking up his lightsaber, Quantros opened the door, and stepped inside. If there were any stormtroopers there, and if they looked in his direction, they'd see the violet blade ignite, and he'd issue a warning. In his mind, he would tell them: "I would prefer that you surrender quietly. Otherwise, you'll have to deal with the likes of me."

The Verpine prisoners left in the storage room Quantros entered the maintenance workshop. A variety of tools, diagnostic computers and vehicle parts were placed through out the room. The other stormtrooper was now on its return and seeing the prisoner escaped raised its blaster rifle in alarm.

Quantros wasted no time. The Force told him this stormtrooper wasn't going to surrender quietly. He moved faster than the trooper could pull the trigger on his blaster, raising his hand in the air, and making a gripping motion. Quantros wanted to disarm the stormtrooper, and intended to use the Force to break his arms. He'd be in pain, but he'd be alive.

The Prisoner

Quantros was stock still as he stared at the stormtrooper, falling to the floor. The first words out of his mouth were "Uhh...oops." He had only meant to break the Stormtrooper's limbs, making it so that he couldn't fire his blaster anymore, nor warn anyone about his escape. He must be growing stronger in the Force faster than he realized, he thought. What he really needed to do was work on his control over it, and his focus. He went back to the storage room to inform his new friends that the coast was clear, before leading them into the maintenance workshop. "So, where do we go from here? How do we get to the hangar?"

Quantros nodded, and went up to the door. Unlike his earlier caution, Quantros decided to make a reasonable deduction. If the alarms were going off, and the problem was somewhere other than the hangars, then they weren't going to have troops in the hangars. That thought processed, he opened the door to look inside, but didn't actually enter.

Quantros focused, closing his eyes as he stretched out with his feelings. He knew that there were people there, but he had no idea how many or who they were. If the Force was willing, he might be able to glean something about them.

His mind cleared and he reached out his senses. When he sensed the presence of Jedi nearby he nearly lost his concentration. Quantros let his mind flow and he recognised the Jedi as Tera and she was on the asteroid.

OOC I have taken the liability of changing Quantros's action from Sense Surroundings to Sense the Force.

Tera was on the asteroid? Things seemed to be progressing better than he had forseen. This was good. If Tera and the others were here, Quantros might be able to coordinate with them. Focusing on Tera through the Force, he sent forth his feelings of confidence and elation from his escape, along with a single word: "Hangar." Unfortunately, that was the best he could do. His message sent, Quantros drew his lightsaber, and moved down the corridor cautiously, as to not alert the ones already there.

The hangar bay is immense and bustling with activity. The tunnel enters the hangar on the side. A metal catwalk forms an awning some ten metres above the floor. Three other tunnels exit the bay. A hangar control tower juts out from the stone wall. Two officers stand inside, directing the activity below. Across the bay, on the catwalk, three stormtroopers stand by a tripod mounted repeating blaster. Near them, four TIE fighters hang suspended from a temporary TIE docking rack. Twenty stormtroopers move about the hangar's floor. A squid-faced Quarren directs four technicians as they load boxes onto an oversized Imperial shuttle. The Alabak's Gold is parked on the far side of the bay.

OOC: Thought I already posted this. Oh well.

Quantros' brow furrowed. How was he going to handle all these Imperials? Quantros' powers were returning, but there was no way he could handle an entire company of enemy troops. At least, not yet. Remembering the message from earlier, Quantros thought the others needed a distraction. Quantros' attention went to the TIE fighters docked further in the bay. How were they attached to the docking port? If he knew that, maybe he could do something with it.

The TIE fighters were suspended from the ceiling with docking clamps. As Quantros pondered this he felt a vibration in the Force as Tera'd mind linked with his "status".

Now that was a good sign. The docking clamps didn't seem like those energy binders he was in earlier. He could just make it fall, that would make a massive distraction, but a better idea occurred to him. If he could find a way to get in one of those Fighters, he might be able to fight off every stormtrooper in the docking bay. He certainly had the skills to pilot a fighter, and it shouldn't be too difficult to learn how to pilot an imperial one. As the telepathic message came to him, he shot another one back, thinking only one word: "Stormtroopers." With it, he sent the feeling of being a Womp Rat in a Sarlacc nest.

Quantros stayed still. He wasn't about to do anything rash. For the moment he was safe, but that could change should someone decide to go towards the machine shop or the storage area. Thinking that Tera might need to know some more about what they're facing, Quantros quickly began counting how many stormtroopers were in the hangar. Once he had a number, he shot a telepathic feeling to her. The feeling that you get when you're on a scouting mission, along with his rough estimate. "Twenty-five."

For a long time Quantros examined the hangar. The stormtrooper appeared to be in three squads. A squad of eight stormtroopers and an officer stayed close by to Quantros and the tunnel to the maintenance workshop. Another squad of the same number was kept close to the rear of the shuttle. The last three stormtroopers were situated on the catwalk near the TIE docking rack and stand beside a repeating blaster.
