Head's up: I am planning on taking a trip with my wife--the first without my kids in 15 years--Saturday through Wednesday next week. The game will go on hiatus during that time.

So, in the interesting development department, I jiust accepted an offer for a DIFFERENT job. Happily, this one will be at home as my prior one was, so I can get back to a more leisurely posting schedule as of my new start date in early September.

In the mean time, I'm trying to keep up a regular schedule despite the (justifiably) restricted posting while at my current job. Bear with me as we have periodic off-days, like today.

Updates sometime tomorrow.

Ended a job today, driving 2 hours one way tomorrow to start new job. Update late tomorrow or early Wednesday.

So, this weekend I celebrate Easter and its preceding events, so I'll be tied up a lot. I don't know how much I'll be posting--not much today, probably, and almost certainly not at all on Friday. I'll update when I can, but worst comes to worst, I'll be off starting Monday so I'll be able to update daily as "normal" as of then.

So in the Good News and Side Effects department:

I just accepted an offer for a promotion at work. New gig with a very interesting group where I'll help get to define the role. Good stuff!

The side effect is that I don't quite know what effect this will have on my ability to update. It certainly is going to nuke today; we'll have to see how much time I have in general this week. Posting daily is almost certainly not happening, though, for the next few weeks, so be forewarned.

This does not mean I will stop PMing people to remind them to post. I will, at least, have the time to do THAT as needed :-)

FYI on the next few weeks:
Now through November 8: busy with work and preparing for the one game convention I get to go to per year. Posting once Friday-Saturday, maybe once Sunday and once Monday-Thursday.
November 9-10: Said gaming convention.
November 11-19: More normal posting, 3-4 times per week as you've grown accustomed.
November 20-21: Eye surgery on one of my eyes, so I'll likely not post at all.
November 22: U.S. Thanksgiving, so no posting.
November 23-26: Pretty good posting, more details then.
Novembe 27-28: Surgery on the other eye, again, no posting.
November 29+: Normal posting until the holidays.

Once upon a time, I had great gobs of time during the day at work. As life has gone on and I've gotten better jobs, I've had less and less time. All the games I have left are fun and I want to continue them, but the pace has suffered.

Given that my job and family life isn't looking to get any less busy, I'm taking the step to map out when I plan on posting in each of my games to days of the week. So, going forward, I am going to update the games in this thread every Wednesday and Friday with an option for an occasional Monday and for over the weekend. I'll start that this coming week.

As for the rest of this week, I'll be updating at least once before Monday.

If that pace is problematic or you're just not enjoying any more, this is the time to speak up; you can walk away with no hard feelings. Let me know in the next day or two if you want to walk away. If you say nothing, I'm going to presume you're still in :-)

Folks, things are going to get busy/hard for posting for a bit. I hope to update here this weekend, though this weekend is coming out compressed for time. This coming week, I'm traveling for work Monday-Thursday, which may mean a chance to post once or twice in there but which also may mean no chances to post. Friday will be crazy due to getting back to the office for work, and then the weekend is always a crapshoot. Let's see how this goes.
