For PC naming conventions, the PCs can be Imperial expatriates (of Solomani or Vilani descent) or members of an Imperial/neutral client-state (League or other). The Far Frontiers sector is also on the border of the Zhodani Consulate and there was much prior Zhodani settlement of the region so PCs of Zhodani descent (although not necessarily Consulate expats) are possible.

Re: RTJ/Character Creation

New Characters are generated according to Book 1/ The Traveller Book, and Citizens of the Imperium.

Rules set: Classic Traveller (Books 1-3 plus COTI and The Traveller Book)

At this time, the group is not in a place where new PCs can easily show up unless they are Barbarians. Which would be cool!

Otherwise, some Pregens are available to play:

    Ex-Scout Blake Renfield 589A46  Age 30  3 Terms         Cr1000
    Carbine-2, Pilot-1, Jack-o-T-1, Mechanical-1
    Air/Raft-0, Vacc Suit-0                                Carbine

    Dr. Talia McKenzie        7A9BB8  Age 26 2 Terms           Cr0
    Medical-3 Electronics-1                           Doctor's Bag

    Billy Merchant 3rd Officer   6638A4  Age 34  4 Terms   Cr30000
    Engineering-2, Electronics-2, Mechanical-1 JoT-1, Vacc Suit-1

Re: RTJ/Character Creation

"Loeskalth" is the name of the race also known as the Sky Raiders. "Outsiders" is what they call the new people from outside the world-ship.

The local tribe's name for themselves is also the Loeskalth as they consider themselves the last true descendants of their race. Another ancestral memory handed down through legend is that, long ago before they became the Sky Raiders, their people were hunted by the Vilani. After, they spent "40 years wandering through the wilderness", so to speak. Not unlike the sojourn this tribe took to find their current home.

To find this ag module they wandered from compartment to compartment, trying to find a livable one. The connecting transit tubes are without gravity, so they will not freak out if he's in zero-G.

Another tribal legend: in their long journey to find a home this small tribe found the "frozen man" along the way and decided to bring him with them. (This is a man in a low berth.) This would have been 25 years ago, so they remember where they got it, from what he thinks is a strange angled metal building on short legs, in an empty chamber near the surface. The recent strangers (the PCs) just unthawed him.
