Well you just said that we saw some stuff fall.  Not huge sections or anything.  That could have been from people even walking overhead.  LOL.

Yeah, that's the impression I got as well... a few flakes and bits falling indicated that it was unstable and might fall, rather than being in active descent there and then.

There is the clear warning of a collapse. By the time the ceiling is in "active descent" and you see "huge sections" falling you'd be in a lot of trouble!

Not wise to wait for that to happen, in my opinion. Or was that your plan?
