Yes, due to real life issues Chadda will be out of the game for a couple of months.

The thing is this leaves us with just three players - Tarrian's player is long gone. Do you guys want me to try and recruit someone, either to take over Tarrian or play a new character or are you happy with three players?

Re Chadda, are you going to NPC her, or fade her out until her player returns?

Good news, we have a new Tarrian. :)

Chadda (and Lady Carolina) are probably going to be out of focus for a while. If needs be they'll make an appearance but for the most part they have, in your words faded away.

I just joined, taking over Tarrian.  I have changed her Avatar and gave her a short backstory in her Character Description.  I look forward to gaming with you all!  Can anyone give me a brief summation of what has happen in the game so far?  Enough so I can understand what is going on and figure out where Tarrion stands in the whole scheme of things.

Well now, I forget how we got into this adventure, but suffice it to say we are looking for a number of objects to which we have a ton of riddles.

We have the nose ring of the minotaur and we just landed up outside the nautical academy where we will be searching for a ship of some kind (yes, yes, I know...but I'm guessing it will become blatantly obvious which ship when we find trouble...!"

However Vithrain needs a wash and a sleep to gain back his magic as he is exhausted physically and mentally.

Hi Tarrian, welcome to the game!

Brief history:

Mannath (that's me) and Tarrian are old friends and have adventured together for a while (no hanky panky, just mates!) before ending up in Kallamehr. There we got involved in an attempt to rescue Baron Bluestone from the clutches of evil wizard Cora Nundrum, along with two elves we had just met (Elstarir and Vithrain, who are brothers). We failed, and he died. However, Lady Carolina (Baron's wife) was grateful for our aid in rescuing her.

We are trying to track down Nundrum, who has left a series of riddles. We have solved one, and found the minotaurs ring. Next we are off the the nautical academy. We got separated from Tarrian and will try to find her at the palace. Myself, Lady Carolina's handmaiden (Chadda), and the elves are stink after escaping through a sewer, and are in need of a bath.

Chadda and Lady Carolina are becoming NPCs for the time being as the player is absent for a couple of months with RL stuff, so that leaves 4 PCs, including you.

So the next scene will be us meeting up again and you complaining that we smell like... well... shit!

Hope this makes sense. GM, feel free to correct me in case I have gotten it wrong.

Perhaps they meet up at the Port of Blacksand.  Or earlier in Kaad.  Thank's for the nice summary.  I should beable to jump right in!

Just to be clear while you are meeting at the Palace you are actually staying elsewhere, in an inn Lady Carolina is paying for. You'll have to pay to obtain baths yourselves.

Can we fast-track through and (as we've already written it) have already met, gone to the bath-house, washed, then met again at the inn for the dinner we are already eating?

I've no idea how much a bath is, but I have 7 GP which I'm sure is enough to cover the lot of us bathing.

To be honest the adventure has an encounter in the Bath House, but to be even more honest it isn't plot essential. Assume you pay a group fee of 5 GP and we'll move the action to the inn (new post upcoming.)

Ok, I redid my first post.  Do to new info. I received here.  An to add a more karma balancing ironic twist!  So that Tarrian would be in need of using the bathhouse at the Inn.  As much as the others.  So the bathhouse encounter can be done with everyone there.

Okay I deducted 2gp to cover my bathing costs.

Vithrain paid for us all

Just to remind everyone that Lady Carolina is paying for your room and board so no need to worry about having enough gold to cover ale, wine or dinner.
