When Housed, Each Week this Artifact provides 3GP to its Owner.  In addition, at the end of each month - this Artifact produces a 5 GP Gem.
Special Activation: Instead of the above, each Week this Artifact instead provides a 6GP HQ Gem to its Owner.

  • T2 Narrative: If you're to capture a Spider - you need to find a spider, scout the nearby woods.

Alhamandriel selects a DF6 Quest and tells the Deranged Necromancer to siphon seven levels from the Revellers, gaining 30 GP and 21 Skill XP. Elspeth hires the Wrong Way Reavers and teaches them Bigger Shields

Presume the Special Activation for the Golden Goose swaps out the effectentirely and there's no extra monthly Gem

  • Name: "Buddy System in Spades!"
  • Type: Audacious Odyssey
  • Mission:  The nearby village reports one of the ruling family's having lost its summer castle. They are in need of assistance to purge the creature from its walls! Doing so, would restore favor to the village; and the villagers would greatly favor you in turn.
  • T1 Narrative:  Having approached the family, you learn that the creature is a Minotaur. Unfortunately, you've not often encountered or even heard of them and need to do your research.
  • Task 1: [ Mechanics:  Conduct Diplomacy with an On-Map CP (Significant)  ]
  • T2 Narrative:  Lacking a library, scholar, scribe or sage, the town will be of little help to you in your endeavors. You set-out to do some research as you explore the land.
  • Task 2: [ Mechanics: Explore any Grid. (Significant Success Required.)  ]
  • T3 Narrative:  You need to gather information on this particular beast and the threat it poses. You need to send a unit in order to scale the walls of the castle and study the creature. Unfortunately, it was more prepared and rampages into a wall - sending your scout tumbling to the ground.
  • Task 3: [ Mechanics:  Scout with at least 2 x Units. If less than a Astounding is rolled - one Unit (random) loses its action next week. All Units involved gain 1 x DMP.  ]
  • T4 Narrative:  After the tremendous display of power it's time to motivate your forces.
  • Task 4: [ Mechanics: Boost Morale.  Only requires Leader to Boost Morale for one Unit. ]
  • T5 Narrative: It's time to eliminate this beast once and for all. Your scouts realize it may be wise to bring bows and other projectile weapons; for it has neither armor nor bow itself; though its horns are a great threat in melee!
  • Task 5: [ Mechanics: Attack the Minotaur (Level 3, Melee Weapons, No Armor) ]
  • T6 Narrative:  The nobles are in need of assistance to move back into their castle.
  • Task 6: [ Mechanics: Loan 1 x Unit for a week. ]
  • Reward: Artifact (Rank 2) or Unique Mystical Unit
  • Duration: 6 x Weeks.

  • Task 1: [ Mechanics: Attack and Defeat 5 x Ratfolk (Level 5, Armed, Armored)  ]
  • T2 Narrative:  The Necromancer got away whilst you fought his underlines.  You will need strong magics to locate him.
  • Task 2: [ Mechanics:  Renovate a Mysterious Room to Renovation level 3. ]
  • T3 Narrative:  Now you need to find where the Necromancer is hidden.
  • Task 3: [ Mechanics: Explore - Achieve at least a Significant Success. (Quest results will be lost.) ]

As a reward for your Legendary Success - Dark Widow informs you of a potential artifact location:

[ You receive information on the whereabouts of an Artifact, Rank 1!  It is located in (I7).  In order to find it, you must Explore in that Grid on a subsequent turn.  You will receive a +20 to the check.  It is somewhat recommended that you send two leaders together for this Explore check. ]
[ You need at least a Success to find a Rank 1. ]
