[ 3 Tusks, Storm Riders, SteelGut, and Fizzbang resoundingly succeed in Attacking the Minotaur. ]
[ 3 Tusks all laugh as they wipe the minotaur's gore off of their seeming impermeable shields.]

[ The What and Light Hammers were a little slow in arriving and mostly watched as Diamond Scales tore them all to shreds after breaking their nerves with a flash of flame. ]

Hire Gilna, just because I want to 'visit' her town with her and get some kind of cool Tier4 ability or whatever. Otherwise I damn well think she will be useless unless I can use her to complete a quest with her skills.

[ You gain a Usurpation-wide Ability (Tier4):
Third-Eye (Tier4):  All of your Units become capable of learning combat spells (from the first seven on the spell list, and Mind Leech).  All of your Units.  The Numerical benefits of spells cast by your Usurpation, which increase stats are increased by +1.
(Applies to Spells 1-6, though "Ward" still maxes at Armor (Type 3).  Mind Leech's chance of success improves by +5%.)

  • Mission:  An Elven village has found itself in a serious bind- due to the passing of its most cherished elders: they've lost the capacity to warp wood into a substance as hard as iron, and now need iron to craft the implements to run their society and defend themselves!
  • Task 1 Narrative: Assist the Elven Scouts in traversing the Mountains to find an appropriate source of Iron.
  • Task 1 Mechanics: Scout a Mountains Grid and find an Iron Node. (First result will be lost.  This first result must be at least an Exceptional Node.) 
  • Task 2 Narrative: Help the crafters offset their current lack of Iron reserves.
  • Task 2 Mechanics: Donate 30 Iron to the Elven Village. 
  • Task 3 Narrative: If the villagers are to invigorate their efforts to acquire iron, they will need new tools for the job.

All units have mounts (Except Botanists).
Remember that 3 Tusks has Undaunted Stand and is entering combat with an equal # of units and should get that awesome bonus. Please let me know if Steelgut 1 shots anybody. There have been some weapons moved around to make those 3 as powerful as possible. Trying to get that last bit of XP that Steelgut needs for maxed offense and some skill XP for the Guardians to get high enough to get Warder.
*If Leadership and/or Tactics do not count as Combat Skills then Herman will be aiding 3 Tusks.

Effects which target the enemy can only select a specific enemy if you know about them (you may select from any of the previously scouted forces.)

(Edit: also who gets the bonus ranged round from the Defensive Structures.)

All units will use their mounts to take the fight to the enemy, as it were, but hell if I am going to give up a Tier4 Advantage, even if the mounts do not give their standard bonus.

Mind Leech then Minor Breath: First target Marbled Stalwarts, if there are applications left over then against Phoenix Guardians, and finally (if I am luckier than I have any right to be) the Forest's Shadows would be targeted last.

All Ranged Attacks will go towards Forest's Shadows. I fully expect most to be redirected, but if just 1 can hit and do damage....

I honestly expect this to all come down to moral rolls in the end, but this will literally decide the entire game. If I had 3 more weeks to teach all my troops Fervor and Mind Leech I think the battle would have been different. If you do not mind, could you 'pretend' to roll Mind Leech the extra 9 times against those specified and note when the troops attacks failed to penetrate for less than 20? Just need totals, since I fear that Sylvia's changes of possibly winning are only about 40% given his troop layout and 3 Tusks not getting the Undaunted Stand bonus.

At this point - I'm granting you the option to "pull out" similar to the Ambush setting on the Tactics roll.

3 Tusks and the Phoenix Guardians are dead.

You may select up to 3 Units you want to "keep" (any that you "keep" over 1 will have to cause you to remove some of your Units currently stashed away at your other Lair.)

You will be allowed to flee with up to one artifact per leader (if you have space at the other Lair). (Edit: remember, you can store artifacts in the Storage Room, but, gain no benefit from them if you have slots in Storage.)

Each fleeing Unit will be capable of carrying one Foodstuffs with it, as well as "filling-up" on gear that is in the storage room and transferring that.

Everything else will be lost.

Each of your leaders will take 1 damage.

(Kenry is not affected by any of this, as he is not a Leader, yet.)

All of Usurpation-wide abilities follow you.  They are not lost.
Your Leaders may take up to 1 HQ Gem with them, each.

Your Extras flee with you.

Your 3xhorses (1 per Unit that is fleeing) go with you, however; you may run into feeding problems as a result. (you don't lose obscurity if a horse dies from not being fed though, so *shrug*.)

You also keep "Lightless Growth" - That actually should be marked as a Usurpation-wide ability - it just "chops" up the foodstuffs per lair.

Steelgut takes over 1 Craftsman tools.
Only 1 Gem was in F6
3 food got taken.
Artifacts put in storage.

All surviving units that show up to D8 will be given 5 gold to help them survive until they can be housed again, in an attempt to keep them loyal. If they show up in A5 next week (Week 4) they will be given jobs constructing barracks, they will be housed, retained, and fed.

Everybody left with horses and 2 mules in F6 got axed :-P

Basically he gets all the leveling and skills. He will become the new Parry King, given that he actually has to get hurt in order to get combat fatigue. At lv10 he will have 10 defense. No way I am going to get to +25 armor/shield for him, so spells will have to do.

Offer a Barracks in D8 to complete Refugees on the Run.
Not sure if Leader Bonuses apply if the Leaders are healing, because you did not report that they healed last turn, so this turn they are doing NOTHING but healing.
When Mysterious Room is done, the artifacts will be put in it and turned on and active.
Henry will aid the troops before teaching Sylvia if he can not do both and/or Sylvia can not learn while healing.
