Re: Tatooine: The Search for Obi-Wan
Both Sundee’s and Bekidge’s faces looked stunned. “Now that is valuable information. At least something to look into.” Sundee paused, seeming to make a calculation in her head. “All right, I’ll give you 4000 credits off.”
“<6000 credits is still steep for what we have, but it will have to do.>” Kelko conceded. Even though he knew Bekidge could understand him, he still felt speaking in Rodese was safer. But he did whisper it in Britton’s ear to keep the Duros from hearing. Before Britton could confer with Kelko further, Oktra returned to the booth.
“We have a problem,” she announced. “We’ve been asked to go rescue an Ithorian. I don’t know how they expect us to do that and make it to our pick up.” Oktra was speaking cryptically, not knowing that Sundee had already told Britton and Kelko they were Rebels.
Sundee paused for only a moment. She glanced sideways at Britton and Kelko as she answered Oktra. “I think I have a solution to our problem.” Sundee fully turned to face Britton and Kelko. “How would you boys like to work for the Rebellion?” Britton and Kelko glared at each other, but before they could fully answer, Sundee added, “If you boys do the rescue for us, I’ll give you another 4500 credits off and give you priority over Oktra.” Oktra started to protest, but Sundee raised her hand to cut her off.
