Sweet Apple Acres

-=Sweet Apple Acres=-

Sweet Apple Acres is the founding father of all of Ponyville.  This stretch of fertile farmland is owned by the Apple Family and supplies Ponyville with its main source of local foodstuffs.  The farmland property is shared by several other Ponies who work along with the Apples to supply various crops and services to the town.  Famous for its beautiful orchards, Sweet Apple Acres is the apple of Ponyville's eye and the home of the dedicated farmers who ensure everyone has enough to eat.

Re: Sweet Apple Acres

Hard at work as usual, Big Macintosh is currently busying himself with chucking hay bales into the barn loft for storage. He'd wished Applejack good luck with her business in town when she left with one of their carts this morning, but that was some time ago by his reckoning. As he tosses the last of the hay up he turns to stroll out of the barn as he mentally runs down his chores for the morning. Most are already done- he's been up since before the sun was, as is the usual with farm life. Looking around and catching no sight of his middle sister he figures that she must've gotten into some business with her friends again.

Since he's done with chores around the farm for the moment, he decides to head into town- if Applejack is busy with her friends he can do her a favor and haul the wagon back home. He heads for the market, figuring she's likely to have made it that far- at least.

---> From Business District

With her speed, it took no time at all for Rainbow Dash to arrive on the scene at Sweet Apple Acres. It was a place she knew well. Her home tended to hover over it most days after all. It was a good relationship, she'd arrange for some extra rain and sun for their crops when needed, and in exchange she'd get free apples now and then. She slowed as she cruised over and around the buildings that made up the farm. She was determined to find the apple cart for Applejack, and to not miss a single detail.

Re: Sweet Apple Acres

As Rainbow Dash soared over the farms, she'd find it as peaceful as ever.  Aside from the Apples there were often other workers there -- the property was shared with a few of the other local farm families in Ponyville, such as Golden Harvest for instance.  Down below she could see ponies hard at work tilling the land, gathering crops, and otherwise doing all the honest labor needed to ensure that everyone in Ponyville had enough to eat for the rest of the season.

There were plenty of apple carts about, but none that Dash was actually searching for.  The orchards were full of buckets and carts used for toting along the delicious fruits for their various purposes.  As she flew past the farm house itself, the Pegasus would hear a familiar call and see Granny Smith down below waving at her for a neighborly hello.

Re: Sweet Apple Acres

Rainbow Dash sighed as she could not locate the apple cart. She had hoped to locate it not just for the glory, but because she legitimatly wanted to help Applejack. She waved back to Granny Smith and decided to land and chat for a quick second. She did not have patience for the elderly at the best of times - they were so... slow - but she liked all of the Apple family, practically being neighbours and all. "Hey, Granny Smith. Whats up?"
