As Rarity sang, her imagination spun herself a scene where she was standing on a stage surrounded by darkness with a large set of stairs featured prominently. The words came from her lips as she appeared at the top, the lights of the theater all pointed towards her. Galloping applause of uncountable, faceless ponies filled the air as she appeared, her every step downwards sending shock-waves through the crowd. Adorning the mare was an outfit straight out of burlesque: tight and flaunting her curves while also dazzling those who saw her with feathers, not to mention those fishnets~

A single spot light came down in the center of the crowd as Loose Leaf's voice rose. There was a parting, and from a group of nameless onlookers, Loose Leaf was lifted up, lounging against them, until she was led down to to the stage across from Rarity. She sauntered up next to her, a grin plastered on her face, meeting Rarity at the bottom of the stairs. She too was adorned in a matching outfit, fish nets and all. She extended her hoof to the fair unicorn above her, leading her the rest of the way down the steps until they were on the stage next to each other.

The two mare's voices rang out, Rarity's classic and deep voice and Loose Leaf's rougher though passionate vocals wafting together with surprising complementary.
Loose Leaf and Rarity stomped about the stage with vigor, staying in sync with each other's movements at the center of the stage, side stepping to the right, then to the left, Loose Leaf taking Rarity's hoof again and spinning her out then pulling her back in. She dipped the more elegant mare in an arch, her popping back out to lead into another coordinated line dance. They stepped with sass and they stepped with attitude, their flanks shaking towards the crowd of nameless onlookers sporting their cigars and their tuxes, who wooted for the ladies on stage. They turned back around towards each other as the music softened just a bit. The two slid their hooves under their cheeks and stood on their hind legs, swerving their flanks as they lowered to the ground.

After their dance together, the two mares split, drawing the attention of the group of onlookers in two directions. Rarity, noticing that one of her crushes was playing the piano, took the opportunity to saunter over to the band on the side of the stage, spotlight trailing her every movement. With a leap, she gracefully got on top of the large instrument and laid there, completely splayed out with one hoof dangling down towards Fancy Pants who continued playing.

On the other side of the stage, Loose Leaf had trotted over to where a group of ponies were blowing out onto their trumpets. One could swear they could see Octavia strumming at her cello. The two zoomed by on a private boat, Rarity holding one of her fancy hats with a group of terrified Canterlot's finest as Loose Leaf drove, zipping over the water with a grin plastered on her face until they disappeared out of site.
From the opposite direction, a carriage rolled by, Rarity this time taking hold of the reigns as Loose Leaf held her seat, them both in their summer best being drawn by four handsome stallions. Loose Leaf shot Rarity a grin and the unicorn met it with the sly upturn of her lips and cracked the reigns, sending the stallions galloping off as the music spiked as it led into the second half of the chorus.

Loose Leaf started to trip in her blindness, Rarity soon tumbling down with her. The two mares started to slide down a set of stairs that flattened out into a slide. They clutched each other and started to scream as they picked up speed, slipping through loops and twists that formed the musical notes of their song. Their eyes widened, and if they hadn't been clutching each other for dear life before, they were now as an upturned ramp into nowhere lay at the end of the measure. The two mares were flung off the end, flying out into the white abyss. Loose Leaf reached out for Rarity, grabbing her at just the last moment and spreading her wings. Just as they picked up into a glide, Loose Leaf hit a sudden wall, not even defined in the blank background. She flattened, dropping Rarity, then plumping back out and tumbling down with her friend.
The two landed in piles of Rarity's fashions and canvases of Loose Leaf's art. Their heads popped out. There was no rest as they watched horrified as their work started to grow around them. The two scrambled out of the death trap, but it was too late, the pile growing to monstrous proportions, drowning them both in it.
