So, here's the newest OOC and another 1000 posts to fill up.

I apologize for my extended absence from the forums thus far.  I'm afraid real life hasn't quite been going my way in terms of the job search.  It makes it difficult to focus on writing when I keep opening all my tabs and getting nothing in terms of inspiration for what to post.  But that's really no good excuse.  I realize the game has quite lagged down over the last month especially, in no small part due to the holidays.

That said, I would like to get things back on track.  But after such a lengthy hiatus thus far, I feel that would require a bit of a jumpstart and rebuilding to how things are in the story.  Not a reboot, no.  But the game needs some pruning and rethinking of how to approach certain story elements since we've lost some folk and gained others, particularly in regards to the Adventure Zones.

I'm just glad to see this game hasn't given up the ghost, I'd miss it n.n;

I am definitely looking forward to seeing this game hopping again!

I, honestly, would be for a reboot as an option. A fresh slate might be ideal in some aspects, especially if we have to replace players of canon characters. We could also do a half reboot, keeping some aspects and resetting others.

I'm definitely still in. You couldn't drive me away!

A reboot of some sort and some fresh stuff would probably go a long way for this game, I'll agree.

No matter what, I'd like to give up Vinyl. I don't think I can really do enough to give her justice at this point and time constraints is a thing I have to fight with. If I stay, I'd rather stay as Angel than Vinyl.

A partial reboot would be the best option, overall.  Scuttling some of the Adventure Zones, putting those who want to be back in Ponyville back home again, and the like.  Perhaps a minor time skip as well to help incorporate new information brought on by Season 4, such as the loss of the Elements of Harmony.

For the moment, let's do both a role call and a vote.  Please announce yourselves and if you vote Yay or Nay on a soft reboot.  Those of you who have already done so don't need to repeat.

I'm going to say "Yea" for my attendance and vote for the soft reboot as well.

Yea to soft reboot, I'd like to redo some stuff with Word, I feel I was a bit over-eager… or something… with my earliest stuff here, plus I have no idea if Pansy is still around, so I dunno how much of Words stuff will be Ret-Gone'd

I'd be willing to give it a go, though perhaps dropping Lyra until things get moving. Focusing on one character would be far more manageable than two. And, just in case my vote wasn't clear, I do think a soft reboot is best!

Fluttershy, Natra Condu and Transcendence Form are a go for a reboot. It would be good for a light reboot at least for the latter two because they can re-root themselves into the game, as they have definitely slid a bit from the rest of the characters in the past few months.

Can't ever seem to engage anyone currently as Form and have been wanting to reformat him, as it were, and get a "fresh" start... or at least a fresher start XP

I think I would drop Ricochet, and look forward to reworking Dash's story a bit.

WE are both still here, but I need to get a lot more involved and have fun ^^

I also need to decide a goal, which may help me get more involved ^^

AJ, Luna, and Trixie are here to stay. I've had a rough week just now, and am still getting over a cold, lost a pet, and had a lot of work upheaval myself.

I wouldn't mind finishing our Nightmare Rising AZ, since, frankly, the first episode of S4 was just a disappointment to me.  And Trixie's adventure is still go?

As for a content reboot, there are things I want to keep and build on, that never really got where I wanted them to.  All my characters had something, but the game just fell short before delivering on any of them. Resetting just loses ground toward that, for me, but I'll go with the majority here. Mind, S4's first episode kind of trashed Nightmare Rising and  my stuff for Luna's dramatic progression as a slightly darker, more mature situation dealing with psychological issues.

I still feel like there's a lot of ground to be comveredin the Adoptaloo storyline and in stuff with Appledash, but if RD wants out of it, I'm not going to put a hoof down.

And Trixie had some great development to go through.


I'll admit I haven't been watching S4 past the first episode.

not to be a party pooper but with what we saw in S4, with Scoot's house... wouldn't that negate Adoptaloo all-together?

I know it's none of my business as I'm neither Dash, Scoots or Jack... but after seeing that episode, I decided to change the Adoptaloo plot for my Wordie Fic



I'm also wondering, with the reboot/reset... will threads be deleted to clear now-non-game canon-clutter?  will we just leave it and pretend they don't exist while we move on and try to remember what got rebooted?

Part of the trouble with running a game in a setting still in development -0 especially one that likes to answer fan speculation.

Like I said, all I've seen of S4 was the disappointing first episode.

I'm not going to change my backstory, I like the one I've got and will be emphatically putting my hoof down in saying that I won't change it regardless of if its shown in the show or not.

Hey Luna, as part of the soft reboot why do you have to clear your Nightmare Moon rising? As it takes place in the past shouldn't it be possible to reboot the rest and just leave that alone. That way you won't lose all your character development.

Luna never said she wanted to get rid of Nightmare Rising.  She actually said the opposite.

At this point in things, there's no real alternative than to go on the notion of the game being an AU from the actual show canon, so there's no need to adhere strictly to what is shown in the cartoon.  For instance: with Adoptaloo - we saw that she has a home in the show, but there were no adults seen in care of her.  It could just as easily be that she was in foster care or at an orphanage temporarily, which would be a logical course of action before Rainbow Dash could actually adopt her legally.  She has to be in the system first, and all that, even if it's only done for the sake of paperwork.

The same certainly goes for Nightmare Rising.  What little we go in the show was very disappointing since there could have easily been an entire episode dedicated to just that event.  We can simply go on the idea that the potion showed Twilight a very abbreviated form of the events, only focusing on the final moments of the entire conflict and none of the greater details.  With Trixie's Quest and the like, that can still go on as is with only a few tweaks here and there to make sure everything lines up correctly.

Overall, we shouldn't really need to make any more changes than we deem completely necessary.  We also don't necessarily need to retcon anything directly if we can avoid it.  Case in point for Apple/Dash; if we allow for a small time skip, the two could have realized they weren't quite suited for each other in a romantic sense as they might have initially thought, allowing for a mutual breakup without any hurt feelings.

I know some folk would rather have a fresh go at their characters, while others are quite happy with how things have developed thus far.  For instance, I certainly don't want to see Twidget get reset as I'm personally rather pleased with how that first date scene went.

Essentially we'll be taking the game forward a short jaunt into the future (likely a few weeks or a month or two; not really all that much) so that people can have a chance to organically bring their characters back into Ponyville or figure out what they've been up to during the gap.  At the same time, I'm allowing for people to make edits or tweaks to their characters for specific forms of precision retconning if they want to.  Changes to their characters' histories, past interactions in Ponyville, and so forth, with the purpose of making the characterization stronger or more satisfying for the player.

With that in mind, I'm going to open up a new thread for the purpose of consolidating all this information where everyone can read it and work together to make sure everything meshes well.  However, if anyone has plot ideas or information that they want to keep secret from the rest of the cast for a reveal later down the line, you can just PM me with that information directly.

Well, RL jumped me for a bit but i'm still lurking here as well.

Alright, I've done a round of house cleaning and sent out PMs where applicable.  So far I've updated the cast list to move folk to or from NPC status based on activity, and I've also removed the "current characters" index from the RTJ thread since I started feeling that it was redundant.

I wanted to give a last-call heads up for anyone who wanted to add further to the Soft Reboot Discussion.  So far what we've got there all sounds fine and shouldn't have any problem integrating.  If anyone wanted to put in any last minute changes, suggestions, or ideas, now's the time for it.  Pending that, I'll write up a summary of the state of events in/around Ponyville with the reboot in mind, and then post it up for y'all to give input on for further tweaks and refining.

I'm still contemplating about keeping Calc in currently. He'll be in for sure, just not sure if I want him in yet. Since the reboot is happening, I'm wondering if it would be easier for me to play Loose Leaf, then try the Calc story on for size when the time comes and I'm more comfortable. Was thinking of moving him to NPC status, or just keeping him as a player character to whip out later on. I'm good with either, it's really GM's decision about the organization.

Some revisions to Moony are pending approval, so I won't be posting in the reboot thread just yet.  Suffice to say I've attempted to make some changes that will have Moonsong less of a wallflower and being a good bit more social.  I don't currently have plans to immediately pick back up with Lotus, as I want to give myself a chance to better integrate my OC before I try splitting my attention again.

Given the large influx of Ponies-without-homes coming to town recently looking for hotel accommodations that don't exist, we'll say that Mayor Mare did some quick dealings with some of the locals with extra space in their homes and set up a hostel service.  So Wordie could have been staying at someone's home as a guest all this time, paying rent and such as one would expect.  Case in point; the NPC Art Deco has housed a few characters so far and would do so again.

As for any relationships Wordie has developed over those three months?  Well, that's up to you.  Ask folk.

As for apple harvesting: it is currently Fall, which works since apple harvests do happen that time of year normally.  But we also see Applejack bucking apples literally all-year-round in the show, so I don't think we really need to worry too much about the overall timeline in regards to crop rotation.  There won't be any applebucking in winter, but we've already seen that Sweet Apple Acres has a lot more than just apples, so there are still plenty of winter crops, cider distilling, and animal care to handle when the snow starts falling.  We can assume that the Apple Family are clearing the trees to gather as many last-minute apples as they can before the town has to unwrap Winter.

not that it's really relevant to post this... but I -think- I have a good opening post for Wordie.  He'll be going to the post office to mail off a couple recipe's as well as a small letter to his contact from Manehattan

Firstly: On multiple jobs.  I had the idea of Wordsmith working part time at Pansy's as an errandcolt, and spoke to LunaJack who was okay with Wordie doin' some part time work at the Acres.  My question to the GM, as she NPCs the characters in question is... would it be okay for Wordie to work part time at Sugar Cube Corner as well?
He's really just trying to work hard and get that money saved up.

Secondly: the PSBA... that's a thing in-game too?  If so, Wordsmith may start looking into the group, a hoof testing the water as it were, to see if maybe it's too early for him to worry about that sort of thing or not.


My post for Bumblebee hinges on it being a school day or not.

Tavi will prove most difficult.  I guess she could be coming BACK to Ponyville after spending three months doing gigs

Still on vacation here, comp trouble i spent a weekend to resolve came back again. Even tried a full format (after backups of course) and removal and recreation of partitions, still kept getting powerdowns.

So figuring i had planned to go on vacation this week anyway, i simply dumped it at the comp repair shop and have them sort out that train wreck. If anything, it should at the very least cut waiting time by a week XD

I've never been much for pony cosplay, but I have to admit... You two made that work pretty well... ^^

I decided that if I ever get to go to a con with any sort of Brony presence, I'm going to have the most understated "cosplay":  Jeans, a Dr. Whooves Cutie Mark T-shirt, spike my hair, and wear my 3/4 length coat and Red Converse tennis shoes.  I'd be representing both fandoms at that point... hehe

My next final is tomorrow morning, and then my last is the aforementioned Wednesday.

But other than that, I think I'm doing fairly well in my classes, considering!

Continuous comp trouble expected to be solved when my new comp arrives, took the repair guys a while to figure out my motherboard was the cause of the problem. Only took them four tries too.

One thing I noticed?  this new game just up and copied threads from here... including Summer Song Cafe, with Merriweather and Meadow Lark

and, to be honest, that kinda bugs me... since they are OCs, not just background characters :/ you know?

Assistant/Co GM wasn't the term Gale Seed/Red Tape used. That was "primary ST" (I'm assuming ST short for "Story-Teller"). I just assumed that was the same as an assistant GM.

Doesn't matter.  Gale Seed/Red Tape held absolutely no position of influence or authority in this game whatsoever, and was a relatively new addition to the cast compared to others.  If there was any sort of claim about influence or authority given by the player, or that any kind of permission was asked/granted, it is simply false.

No, I didn't ask permission before copying the threads which I copied from this game.

No, I shouldn't have stolen Meri's good work without asking.

I didn't think it would be an Issue because I thought Meri's player AKA the GM, had left RPoL and would neither know nor care I had done so.

I am sorry, I thought what I was doing was for the best, I thought I was saving something precious not tearing it apart.

I am going to remove the content that I copied and replace it with my own work over in the new game: And I also hope that this incident has been the kick in the butt Meri needed to get this game moving again.

In closing: Please forgive my over eager and impetuous misuse of the resources I saw to hand, the problem WILL be fully corrected in the next few days and I hope both games can continue without rancor or hostility. People are welcome to migrate over to the new game weather or not this one continues, and I hope that Meri will be as willing as I am to lay this incident aside as a major misunderstanding and precede from there in the spirit of everyone's favorite form of magic.

Actually, what Merri objected to was not the presence of a MLP game, but the use of writing from this game into the other. Making a quick glance in the The Cast list Merriweather and Meadow Lark have indeed been removed from the other game and i believe postcount dropped from 31 to 30 recently so i assume the rewriting is still in progress.

It's been a while since i last set up something of that scale so i don't know how much time this sort of thing usually takes, nor do i know how much would need to be rewritten or Gale Seed's schedule, but as far as i'm aware it's not like the game kicked off and the rewriting was written off as simply 'get around to doing it someday'... The game appears to be on hold until the process is completed.

As Starcrasher Said, that game is on an indefinite hold until all plagiarized content has been removed and/or replaced, no further activity will take place there except rewriting and revision until that task is fully resolved.

I did give Merri a poke recently in PM, but nothing doing yet. I would love to maybe kind of revive this, though, I really don't have the mental focus to GM.

I did find a game recently with a really rule slight system  that made me think it'd be perfect for 'playing Pinkie Pie' so my character there is totally inspired by her.


She took an action  to 'Impersonate Chicken'...

It's called Roll for Shoes, and it basically starts you with a 1d6 skill of 'do anything', but as you rolls sixes while doing 'anything' you gain higher rated skills related to the things you attempted (or, when you fail actions, you get XP that can be spent on a one per die basis to count any result as a six for gaining a new skill (you gain skills when all the dice you roll on an action either come up 6 or have XP paid to make them count as such for advancement :D)

It's really that simple XD;

but yeah. I kind of want to create a 'Roll for Horseshoes' edition :D

Yeah, this is a pretty solid representation of some of what Merri and I had planned for the AZ story.

The most reliable way to get ahold of of the GM right now is Tumblr.

They've had one thing after another come up to get in the way of everything they want to do, and last I talked to them about this game they said that they were trying to figure out what sort of things to adapt with the new things the show has aired so as to keep this as close to canon as possible.

Remember, when this game was still going, Princess Twilight Sparkle was a very new thing and had to be retconned in, and then they BLEW UP THE LIBRARY about the time things looked to be calming down in the show for lore and whatnot to go back to something stable-ish.

And now we're learning what the castle does and what Twilight & Co. are doing since she's now the Princess of Friendship.  Also we're getting into a season that seems to take pride in character and world building, since we've already gone to one previously unheard of location, one that was mentioned in name only, and the next episode looks to be about what the REST of Ponyville does when the Mane 6 are doing their thing.

Basically, if this is going to start up again, a few things will have to happen.

1) The GM gets the time they want to properly devote to this again.
2) A decision will have to be made on where/how we officially break from canon aside from a few harmless things like Merri running the cafe, which is an incidental change that doesn't affect the world at large.
3) We will have to decide what to keep and what to discard from the initial run of the game - do we start from scratch, or try to pick up where we left off?  If we do the latter, what changes will need to be made to fit the changes made above?  How involved do we want Waifu Stealer Flash Sentry to be, or the EG canon, in this world?  I mean, Twilight now has a permanent portal to the EG world that she can open AT WILL, meaning that Sunset Shimmer could logically visit Equestria again at any time (it isn't like anyone TEACHES anything at that school except for that one time Cheerilee was holding a class).
4) Once the above is done, everyone who still wants to be in the game will have to see what needs to be adjusted about their characters to fit the new info.

So, yeah, this game has a butt-ton of work to be done behind the scenes before the idea of starting it up again is even remotely feasible.

None of this changes, however, the fact that I would also absolutely LOVE for this to start back up again so we could all play ponies with each other :3

But yeah, Shai :P  I see what you mean. There's a boatload of stuff still to do. And I can only catch MLP via netflix right now, so I've only got up to the end of S4. I'm aware a bit of  the awesomeness that is S5, but I haven'[t gotten to enjoy it.

1. I agree completely of course. Im sure a few of us could co-gm or at least help with story lines too.
2. I say we pick a point in continuity, start from there, and unless something comes up in the show that changes the past, nothing that happens cannon in the future matters here in game. Make this like, a total AU, Draenor style.
3. This game is so massive and tangled with SO many chars and SO many players, and so many things have changed in the continuity of the show, I think it'd be WAY easier to just start from scratch, OR cherry pick the things we liked the most and keep them as this AUs cannon (#twidget4evar!)
4. Everyone adjust accordingly.

We could, in theory, literally start this game before Twilight becomes a princess, if the GM decides its more fun to play a non-Princess Twilight. There, continuity set. We could even play out where she becomes a princess a different way if we wanted! There's nothing wrong with AUs and making up our own stuff. Considering how many OCs we have in this town, I think a completely separate AU with its own origin point is better for all of us anyway. Just my opinion and my ramblings!

Hey everyone, sorry for the severely extended radio silence.

Shai summed things up pretty well.  I'd love to get the game going again, but a big part of it is me getting the time and energy to actually do so.  Running a game is a major undertaking and I've been pulling 70 hour work weeks for the past few months now, with no real sign of that letting up any time soon.  The soonest I'm looking at a possible break in my schedule isn't until July, and that's only a maybe.  I do know I'm getting a one month vacation throughout September though, so there's that.

When it comes to keeping the game set to canon, it's less a matter of keeping events accurate and more a matter of keeping themes accurate.  Case in point, during Twilight and Widget's date, Twilight expressed concern over her possible future as a leader in Equestria and what sort of obligations that would entail.  Next thing we know, the show makes her a Princess and she starts along that very same character theme.  The how and why is less important than making sure we're keeping up with the thematic value of the source material.  New bits of canon can be integrated in creative fashions that best fit our story, as Widget noted.

I suppose the first order of business would be to get things into gradual motion so enough momentum can carry us along.  A role call would be necessary so we can figure out who's interested in continuing, who wants which characters, and so we can whittle down the cast list to a more manageable size.  After that, it would be deciding where the game would pick up (a complete reboot, picking up at some point beyond where the previous game's arc left off, or some combination thereof), as well as figuring out what canon events we're adhering to.

Very succinct points, GM.  I'm definitely interested in continuing, and I am open to many ideas for how to do so. I'm willing to abandon old plotlines and arcs, and even past events where needed, and bringing things into like with more recent themes is totally a thing I like.   I may abandon my 'haunted Luna' arc, as it doesn't seem particularly in line with how S4 ending events went, though I'm not certain, yet.

I definitely would be willing to trim my personal characte rroster down - which means losing either Trixie (we had great ideas), or Luna, maybe both, at first. They could be recollected as we go, perhaps, as the game's momentum and setting get more solidified in  the refited positions.

So, yeah, I'd definitely say
1) Roll Call
2) Narrow the Characters we're dealing with
3) Adapt the themes and events as players feel is needed

I don't see  this game being as fast-firing as it used to be. Slow and Steady will be more viable for GM, and the rest of us, I think. I don't know if I'll reopen the Ponyville chatroom, but I don't think it will work out as well now, but if ponies would like to see it, I'll see what I can do.  I think we should expect this game, rekindled, to be more paced aroundhow busy GM is, and how busy many of us are, now.  OOC communication will be important ' yes, I'm here, I just havn't had time to post :)'

Well, I'll be happy with both Shai Ni and Berry Punch/Pinot Noir (since Berry needs more non-alcoholic love).  Despite having other potential characters, I'll leave them be where they are.  No need to get all crazy up in here.

I'd keep Widget and Xing, though Xing's story can reset, as I'd like to make her an adult rather than a filly.

I'd definitely keep AJ (and depending upon RD's return and continued interest) i'm ok keeping or discarding the Appledash ship as we need.

I'd like to keep Luna, but she might need to be sidelined and I keep her for  special appearances/dreams? I'd be fine pausing Trixie's adventure until such time GM feels up to resuming it....

With at least trixie and posdibly Luna going on the back burner, I'd be interested in picking up Sunset Shimmer as a visitor/friend of Twilight. I can totally see the two of them hitting off a good friendship.

1. That's true for every game, but we've waited this long, we can wait a little longer ^^

2. Break from canon... Not really. As long as the canon doesn't outright counter it it wouldn't make it AU. Merri can run a cafe and it'd be canon up until the point the show outright states the Pies have the ONLY cafe in Ponyville. Pinkie Pie working in Applejack's farm would be AU, keeping it canon is as easy as just keeping the set pieces in place and going nuts on everything that isn't spelled out in the show. There's a LOT of gray area to work with, more than enough for this game. And if we deviate, just let it happen naturally without shoehorning or railroading ponies down certain paths Just Because.

3. Hmm... I can figure that EG world business is restricted to the palace and its immediate surrounding area to prevent ponies and their human equivalents getting mistaken for one another and accidentally causing chaos, so that could easily remain contained. Twilight being both a teleportation master and the only one capable of opening (coining a term here) World Portals makes her the ideal pony to be the one instructed to keep an eye on this. Since our game would center around Ponyville we'd have little to nothing to do with that aside from the occasional visit and the "We're visiting the Palace" spinoff threads. These events could be contained as easily as, say, Timberwolves living in the Forest: No one's having trouble from them unless it's either a planned event or ponies are heading into said Forest.

4. Starcrasher's pretty easy to fit in. She landed a temp job with Widget and tutoring under Twilight, agreed that she was allowed to take a short trip on vacation and she's enough of a klutz to wind up going everywhere on a whim or to help out people which would drastically delay the day she was actually supposed to have been coming back. Anything goes really, even restarting with her getting sent over fresh from the Academy.

So, in just the past few days, we've gotten a handful of confirmations of continued interest. I'm interested in trying to pick this game up off the ground, and we have word from a number of interested ponies.

Players who have checked in and wish to remain active are as follows:

1) Game Master - Though, with decreased activity time, Game Master may not be able to run everything the way she used to. I don't think I can do it all, either, but I'm willing to step up and help try and keep the place on track. I don't have the best record, but with some guidance I could probably do alright.

2) Myself - (Luna/Applejack/Trixie) - Also interested in adding Sunset Shimmer to my roster. I think I might keep with Luna's 'Everfree Forest Manor'. Sidelining Trixie until GM feels up to doing Trixie's Adventure.

Alright, My Little Ponies. I'm inspired, I might be jumping the gun here, and if I am and it's an unwelcome jump, GM, I apologize - it's really all my idea to launch into this, but I want to try and see if I can throw a little bit of a spark into the still waters here, and see if I can make the game do anything more than twitch!

So, for the posts that I'm going to be making in a handful of threads, I'm going to be putting forth a framework for an event we can run with just existent threads. I am picking up with the notion of resuming with the clock fairly close to the date listed in the current season thread - We're going to be a few weeks into fall, however, and preparations for the annual Running of the Leaves are underway in Ponyville!

For the time being, posts made as Princess Luna will be denoting the general state of affairs around Ponyville - but I will not directly represent any GMPC/GM Character - I'd never assume the authority for that without it being directly granted to me.

That said, the following events and threads are underway as of my nudge - I'm open to other ponies having their own things going, too.

1) Sweet Apple Acres -  With the harvest season in full swing, the Apples are hard at work making their famous Apple Cider! Deciding to roll it in with the Running of the Leaves, the first batch is due to be ready on the day of the Running!

2) The Whitetail Woods - Acorn Afternoons! Leading up to the big Running of the Leaves, Ponies are invited to take relaxed trots through the whitetail woods! There is a fairly strict 'no galloping' policy in place to protect the leaves from early falling. Ponies are welcome to relax and enjoy the beautiful autumn colors - but visitors are expected to collect nuts, berries, and acorns, to donate to the food stores for the woodland creatures for the coming winter!

I have a few other idea notions if anypony wants them, but they're more specific for characters:

Berry Punch: It could be time to be harvesting and making your wine, too! Or Maybe, in discussions with the Apple Clan about work on some Hard Cider. It's entirely likely  that other ponies in similar lines of work might work together for the apple season, then the grape/vineyard season :D  Up to you :D

Wordsmith: Dunno when you were planning on your tavern, but it might be a good time to prep for that? We'd need to create a new thread for this, though, which is why I didn't properly propose it earlier :D

I wouldn't mind Wordie having his tavern... but I'm a bit anal about things making sense so if it does make sense he'd like... just be opening it, that's cool

the Running the Leaves would make for a fine opening event for his tavern.  drinks and snacks provided at the tavern

I -might- have to go a bit meta and say that he's spoken to 'Bee's parents who run a honey business

a couple months (about six) of passing time means he'd have his first batch of mead ready to serve ^^

Is ther any word from the GM? Is Twilight coming back?

To be clear - by no means am I aiming to replace GM. I'm merely tryingt o get a bit of a pulse going, to sort of try and overcome the inertia of 'the game isn't moving at all' that makes starting it up again feel so daunting.

Gm might not be able to step back in, and if so, I can respect that. I'm just aiming to make it a bit 'easier' to do so, for her, myself, and the rest of you.

So, in the immediate sense? I don't know. Eventually - I hope so. If not, I doubt we'll go for very long. I won't be able to maintain activity for us indefinitely on my own, so I will need GM to step back in, but I just don't want it to feel too daunting to her. I'm trying to make things smoother for such an effort :)


All I know for sure, is that sometime in the previous 50 minutes, GM has  viewed  this game on their account, based on 'last logged in' in the cast page.

I am indeed still up and about.  While I'm not certain it's a good idea to try and kick start events before we even have a full roll call yet, I'm not going to say no to it either.  I was planning on doing some clean up with the threads soon though.  The idea was to close out the inactive threads and shift them to different groups so they wouldn't clutter things up, then start new threads for the reboot.  If anyone wanted access to the old threads for the sake of checking up on previous writing, I could grant viewership on a case by case basis.

As it stands now, only a small handful of folk have piped in with wanting to continue.  That's perfectly fine, but I wanted to give at least a week or two before I did a purge of non-involved characters to shrink the currently bloated cast list.

That';s kind of why I tried to keep this to something fairly slice of life that likely wouldn't be hugely affected by whatever retcon/tweaks we need to apply given  the Season 4 and 5 stuff so far. Glad to hear from you :)
